I just read a WSJ article that a Judge in CA issued an Order stating 1,000’s of fired probationary employees needed to be rehired. Why do we even need to elect a President since everyone but the President runs the Executive Branch??? The argument before SCOTUS should be: well, we offered them 9 months of pay for doing nothing and to find another job.
The 9 months of pay was for the permanent status employees who volunteered to leave, not for the probationary ones. 9 months is pretty darn generous. Few private sector employees or even state or local govt employees in most states get that much in a severance package. And the amount and timeframe lines up with what was budgeted for their salaries through the end of the fiscal year.
As for the probationary employees, how can a judge say letting them go is illegal? They do not have permanent status yet and can be let go for any reason or no reason. These judges are way, way out of line.
Well, they are Marxist so kind of expected.

While the Russian leader said he is ‘for’ achieving a 30-day ceasefire, he has raised serious questions about what stipulations must be added. In essence at this point Putin is conveying a list of objections as follows, via state media translation:
“We also want guarantees that during the 30-day ceasefire, Ukraine will not conduct mobilization, will not train soldiers, and will not receive weapons,” Putin said during a press briefing with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko in Moscow.
The president pointed out that Russian troops are advancing along nearly 2,000 kilometers of frontline, and halting military actions could disrupt ongoing operations. Ukrainian forces could use a ceasefire period to regroup, receive more weapons, and train fresh recruits, he warned.
“These 30 days — how will they be used? To continue forced mobilization in Ukraine? To receive more arms supplies? To train newly mobilized units? Or will none of this happen?” Putin asked.
Enforcing a ceasefire over such a vast battlefield would be difficult, he added, violations could be easily disputed, leading to a blame game between both sides. Systems of “control and verification” to monitor a ceasefire are not in place but should be agreed.

I was giving my primary care doc information on Ivermectin and the other things to take via email, he used information to protect his family and in-laws who were living with him. It was our secret.

My doc and his staff no longer ask me since b4 covid when I refused 2 colonoscopies. 2 of my friends had died at that time of punctures during the scopes, creating massive infections that could not be healed, thereby being a death sentence .

The flu shot is NOT the covid shot. Different technology, different history, different process, and should not be lumped in with the covid fiasco.
ABC report? I have to believe that the evil left could be pushing this to get seniors scared and maybe not take the shot, leading to even more chaos. I know first hand of people who got the flu shot and were deathly ill. One family of five was very sick for days on end. Two of them were hospitalized and almost died from it. The mother was livid and told me she would never get the flu shot again and that she shouldn’t have listened to her doctor.
Our accounting firm all got the flu shots prior to tax season so there would be no chance of being out sick….they ALL got the flu. Lesson learned.

A guy I used to work with has a wife who got the shingles shot, I don’t know which one.
Within days she was very, very sick. As in, he was on FMLA taking care of her.
Trying to balance caring for her, long term, and not losing his job provided challenges, and he’s in management.
It’s been a year now and she can walk with a cane, and he was happy and thankful for the progress.
Not all these shots work as advertised and they do not want to advertise or admit all the side effects.

I actually “ interview” my primary doctors so we are on the same page., and we are a team. we have intelligent discussions…no power plays. That means I have to do my research, come with my list and be prepared, which I am willing to do. Worked in the hospital field for many years and with hundreds of doctors …the very good ones and the very bad ones….and in many cases have as much education and more experience than they do. I give them respect but I expect the same from them.

IDK I can’t read the Miri article for Substack, but the Delingpole guy has already tried to steer us away from the response most of us would make by calling it “unintelligent”.
I have always heard RFK Jr. state that he isn’t against vaccines, and that he has gotten his own children vaccinated. Any time prior to covid that he talked about vaccines it was always about safety and testing and when he was going to join the Trump administration it was as head of a “vaccine integrity commission”.
He talks about the vaccine schedule, and he may have made a random comment here or there disparaging the idea of vaccination, but he’s been pretty clear all along.
So I’m not saying this-“Well he was never really an anti-vaxxer. His position was always more nuanced than that.”
If he sounds as if he’s waffling on the measles vaccine it’s probably because they just tried to blame a measles death on him and he’s worried that he might scare some parent into not vaccnating their child, and that child will later die.
If he really was a sleeper agent they wouldn’t have to go to the trouble of posting fake news about a CDC study of vaccines and autism, to block the CDC nominee, would they?

It appears that the only way Trump can get SCROTUS involved immediately in the fake judge shopping halting his EOs, firing, Perkins Coie, et al is to publically say on X and truth social that he is ignoring the judges’ rulings and SCROTUS can decide the issue once and for all. This going by the book and going up the ladder is taking too much time and energy. SCROTUS must tell us all whether we have an executive branch or we don’t.
Why should he invoke SCOTUS? Why not just declare these are Executive powers assigned to a separate and equal branch of govt by the Constitution and such are not subject to interference by the judiciary – including SCOTUS.

President Trump need to convert FJB’s staged oval office into a staged courtroom, sign an executive order making himself an executive judge with power over all the courts. Then put on a black robe and pass judgement as he sees fit on all the lower courts.
Make the statement that if the lower courts want to violate the constitution and interfere with the duties of the Executive Branch, then it is only fair that the Executive Branch creates its own court and this executive order codifies it.
No lower court could then overrule it, they could try but what it would do is to fully expose the Constitutional crisis that the lower courts have brought upon us.
I’m sure President Trump, Steven Miller and the rest of his team, many of whom are lawyers, did not think that when he began sighning a mountain of EO’s, that the opposition would try to block them with TRO’s…
I think I will leave it to him to decide what coarse of action to take, rather than trying to tell him what I think he should do.

It is only a matter of time before that Act is ruled unconstitutional by the SCOTUS as an infringement on the Executive branch’s powers. Congress cannot make laws so infringing.
Congress can only appropriate funds. If the Executive agencies find some of those funds not needed for any reason, they can rescind those funds and send them back to the Treasury. Once the funds have been appropriated, Congress has no say in how the agencies use or not use them.

I was basically swatted recently. Terrifying experience. Alone at home on my day off (with freaked out pets), someone reported a woman being held at knife-point in my bathroom. WTF? I have no idea why this happened.

Thankfully I know my rights, but they were very intimidating. I gave them a LOT of personal data in order to keep them from entering my home. Then I started bombarding them with information they didn’t ask for, LOL!
If you have a squeaky clean record like me, I’d suggest you let them know that, be cordial, give references to call, and ask them to please check their sources – because IF someone is really being held hostage somewhere, they are wasting time in assisting that person in need.
