This is so sad. The first news I read this morning and it makes my heart sick. The evildoers have identified and are targeting who they wish alive and who they wish dead. They have determined who will move on in education and who they will crush and shatter. No amount of DOGE will ever touch this evil unless it trickles down to the very lowest levels. Our schools are worthless. Every time I see a school bus, I lament at the children being taken to indoctrination camps. I will never feel differently.
They targeted our populace with their diseases. They targeted our pets, our infants, and our food supplies. They targeted our students and have systematically dismantled our education systems, our healthcare systems, our religions.

Incremental sleep for me. Our Alzheimers kitty, Timmy, exhibits sundowner’s behavior in the evenings and tries to whoop the Maine Coon, Harry. Harry is so sweet and docile, he just doesn’t raise a paw in a bad way to anyone… thus, the moment I get to sleep… I’m wakened to the broo ha ha and I’m “herding cats” in the early AM. Never fails.

Israel Update:
It’s over a week that Israel is blocking the humanitarian aide to Gaza. They have enough for a couple of months, this is pressure for a deal and also in case of another IDF invasion.
Israel is violating a principle of “no released hostages = no ceasefire”. Why is it violating it?
The Witkoff plan is given a chance. Israel sent a team to Qatar and Witkoff will arrive too.
He is talking about an ultimatum with a time limit. Trying to release more hostages on Phase one or get Hamas to agree to disarm on Phase 2.
What I know for sure is that Hamas will not lay down their weapons which means the war will resume. The questions are : Will we be able to get some hostages out first?
How long are we going to mess around with this terror organization?
When we resume, will it be an all out war or will the IDF continue with the “Salami System” of slicing piece by piece of Gaza and increasing the pressure in an effort to get more hostages. Israel is torn between the desire to get them home to the desire to crush Hamas.
I have no answers to the above questions and I doubt that anyone knows at this point.
-Israel did shut off the power to Gaza. I find out that this is misleading. The only power line we give them is for the water distillation plant that supplies only 20% of their water. The rest of the water are from Israel in two lines. All the other power sources are diesel operated generators and they have enough diesel for an estimation of 1-2 months.
Yes, the water to Gaza is from Israel. Providing Hamas water and food while they starve our hostages. Crazy. Israel is considering shutting off water too. Possibly the North of Gaza line first which may force them to leave the North again. Time is ticking and the pressure is increasing on Gaza.
-The Houthis say that if we don’t unblock the aide to Gaza they will resume their military operations against Israel and ships. Are we going to wait for sirens and Ballistic Missiles on our central cities before we respond? Will Trump respond more than Biden did? They plan on interrupting International shipping too. Did Israel figure out a proper response by now? Possibly their leader will get eliminated to teach them a lesson?
– Genocide of the Syrian Regime against the Allawits (the minority who were the previous Regime). The Telegram channels which I use are loaded with some of the worst atrocious footage you can imagine. The footage which reminds of 10/7. Torture, humiliation of unarmed civilians of all ages and executions. Mass graves. Varying numbers from 800-8000 dead. Hard to tell. Many videos where they make them crawl like dogs and bark and then shoot them. Dogs are very low life in Muslim culture. This is the new Regime that the “Enlightened Globalist” West were so fond of and lifted sanctions on them. Israel knew and created a buffer zone. The videos show Al – Qaeda flags and butchers who remind me of Hamas and ISIS. Did you see any protests in the Universities? Any Noise in the media? Any sound from the UN? It’s all on video. Calls to “wipe everyone there because they are all Godless pigs”. Now they ordered their “soldiers” to stop videoing it. They are trying to hide it now.
-Some 41 Israeli attacks deep inside Syria by Damascus. A lot! Taking out munitions and tanks and radars, etc… that the new Regime is liable to use and some headquarters of the Syrian Military. I think this is controversial. Israel decided that the Syrian Regime is Jihadi and does not give it the benefit of the doubt. They also released Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists at the beginning of the takeover. People who are risking the Syrian border with Israel. Israel is seeing the Turkish Syrian alliance getting strong as a danger. The Turkish are close to Hamas and are Muslim Brotherhood ideology of spreading Islam by all means, the Syrians are the same but hiding it from the West.
-ICE arrested a leader of the riots in Columbia University a Palestinian who is actually a graduate. He is a candidate to deportation. Trump posted that “Pro Hamas, Pro killing innocent civilians and anti America rioters are going to be deported”.

About the singer. She is a Nova Festival survivor. On 10/7 she ran into a small concrete shelter with many others.
The terrorists entered and sprayed the people with bullets. Almost everyone was dead and she covered herself with a dead body full of blood. She called her father and he told her to be quiet and stay covered. She was there many many hours, a half a day and the terrorist keep showing up to check that no one is alive. In the realm of “they don’t make them like this anymore”… I want to share with you what we went to see on Sunday.
This home was built when President Benjamin Harrison was in office. Built in 1890. The wood work is astonishing. The pocket doors separating the great rooms were 12 feet wide! Notice the little service window from the kitchen. The wall paper adorning the seating areas is breathtaking. Look at the stained glass. There are very steep, servant stairs that are run throughout this home and each level (there are 3 of them) feels like you are kept in total privacy from other sections. Truly it is disorienting to try to see where each stair well leads. It’s not a huge house, however, inside it feels like a mansion. The leaded stained glass windows. The plant you see next to the piano, is truly as large as the piano… how old it must be! The utility circuits and old-fashioned door handles, antique plumbing amenities, private water closets, was something few will ever get to see in their lifetimes. Especially now in the cracker box tract housing that no longer lends 130 year old character and craftsmanship. Built by masons.
We met the current owners who are selling her. They are patriots and chatted with daughter about the great patriot portraits that hung throughout the home. Their parents both live in the same town, in their 90’s, in two absolutely majestic homes. The gentleman’s home a few blocks over has a 6 or 7 foot stained glass window of a woman. Breathtaking.
We all prayed that whoever takes over this home; that they won’t change a thing. She really is a historical treasure.
And sadly… as with all homes reasonably priced (this one unusually priced in my opinion)… buyers are snapping them up in a matter of hours. There is simply no chance for a middle income family to compete with these machines that are devouring our real estate.
If by some miracle, the President should see this… “Mr. President, will you stop Black Rock? Will you restore American soil and properties back to American owners? Who is taking over our properties like machines?”
In a prayer that may seem shallow… Father God, I pray that America will not lose her heritage. I pray that You Will Allow Americans who love our country, its people, and our history to own, steward, and save historical sites (and sights) such as this. Let them not fall into foreign hands and let no weapon formed against us prosper. In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN.

I should have stopped the car on Sunday and took a picture. We passed a “Monticello” road sign in Indiana. Wanted to post it here. Thought we would take the picture as we headed back home, but ended up taking another scenic route. It’s wild to be outside the metropolitan cities here in Central Indiana – like we were freed from prison. The fifteen minute city scenario sucks to high Heaven.
Savannah and I still can’t stop talking about that lovely house. So solid. Very little is built on solid foundations anymore. How they stand for 50 years is beyond me, held up by pvc pipe, sheet drywall, osb board, and flexible, bendable, easily impactible siding.
Our condo-style apartment had a rock hit it through a wind storm and water flooded into our living room. There is little between us and the elements than spit, tissue paper, and scotch tape.
Would love to see Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello some day.

Our Frank Lloyd Wright house in Colorado Springs had solid sloping beams from the South (high end) to the North (low end). Memory says they were about 10 inches wide and 15 inches high. Solid wood, not laminated. You guessed it – the rest of the structure had to support the beams.
But it doesn’t need to be an FLW design.
However, I do remember noticing shoddy areas as we drove around …

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

So, due to that and what I found yesterday, I wondered why there are more male young piano prodigies than female.
Some biological (brain, dexterity or ????) difference? I seriously want to know.

Doug Ford was recently elected with a huge majority here in Ontario. People in Ontario had the option to vote some seriously great alt right MPPs of which I was one last election. They chose not to. Doug Ford is not a conservative! He was in lockstep with Trudeau and all of the globalists.

Besides the mountains, there are a number of unforgettable drives in the USofA. I am uneducated re: train rides.
Colorado and Idaho are pretty. Had family in Meridian, Idaho several years ago. Not as familiar with Colorado, but would enjoy exploring.
Was lucky to move cross country five times and have lived in fourteen different cities – some touristy vacation spots, some not-so-much. Can’t even think on how many I traveled to and through playing around.
Dated a semi-pro, freelance photographer at one point, and had some pretty amazing adventures. I think my favorite mountains were Hurricane Ridge… if only due to the loop we would take through the Olympic Peninsula, Kingston ferry to Port Orchard, to Port Townsend, up through to Lake Crescent, the Hoh Rainforest, Forks, then loop down through Mount Vernon, Deception Pass, and onto Whidbey Island and ferry to Mukilteo. You would “get it all” on this gorgeous trip. However, Paradise up at Mount Rainier was glorious, too.
So many good times. Would love the opportunity to compare… for sure. Our world is so beautiful.

Where is everybody putting their money these days? I’m heavily invested in the stock market, but while I think there will be a rebound, I’m not too happy about the volatility that’s will probably continue with the growing pains.
If the Dow Jones comes back up to 43,000ish and we get a break, I’m thinking about putting my money elsewhere to ride out the trade wars. But I’m not sure where.
I’m retired. I have mine divided between an annuity, a CD, a Money Market Fund, and physical gold and silver. But right now, if I was 40 y/o instead of nearly 70, it looks to me like there are some excellent real estate opportunities in my area at this time.
As far as the market goes, I’s be looking to try and figure out when Tesla bottoms out to buy.
