The CIA / State / DOD types focus is “outside the continental United States” (OCONUS). Their foreign posting and focus taints their thinking. They do not generally consider domestic considerations beyond what is occurring in congress and how it affects their budgets.

I actually loved the Democrats performance tonite, as they really showed themselves by what they refused to applaud.
They are FOR waste, fraud and abuse, including spending $, taxpayer $, to study sedentary migrants, do circumsions in Africa, supply Condoms to Hamas, whatever.
They want the war in Ukraine to be a forever war, …and they can’t even applaud a little kid with brain cancer…
