Biography: Hooke was a scientific polymath. He was simultaneously the curator of experiments of the Royal Society and a member of its council.
He was also Gresham Professor of Geometry and a Surveyor to the City of London after the Great Fire. He performed over 50% of all the surveys after the fire. Hooke was also an architect and worked with Christopher Wren to build St Paul’s Cathedral.
Hooke was a pioneer of microscopy, and known by many school children for his law of elasticity.

American comedian and actor (The Abbott and Costello Show; Who’s On First?), dies of a heart attack at 52
Biography: Lou Costello started his career in burlesque and vaudeville theatre where he met his comedic partner Bud Abbott. Costello was the funny man for Abbott’s straight performance. Their most famous routine is “Who’s On First?” involving confusion over nicknames of baseball players. The two worked theatre circuits, and eventually earned roles on the radio show “The Kate Smith Hour” in 1938 which provided them national exposure.
The duo’s first role in film was “A Night in the Tropics” (1940) and was so well received that they were given starring roles thereafter, making 36 films over the next 15 years. During their heyday they were one of Hollywood’s most successful and well-paid acts. They also had the radio show “The Abbott and Costello” which ran from 1942-1949, and a television program with the same name from 1953-1955.
After a sometimes fractious working relationship, Costello parted ways with Abbot in 1957. He died of a heart attack in 1959, three days before his 53rd birthday.

Biography: Albert Sabin was a Polish-American medical research, known for developing the oral polio vaccine. This development has since led to the disease being nearly eradicated worldwide.
Sabin’s work built on that of Jonas Salk, who developed the first inactivated poliovirus vaccine. Sabin then developed an oral vaccine which was found to be safe and effective.
The oral poliovirus vaccine went into mass-testing between 1955 and 1961, and then began to be industrially produced. He licensed a total of three separate vaccines, corresponding to the three major poliovirus strains.
Sabin notably refused to patent his vaccine, which allowed it to be produced at a low price and used all around the world. The Sabin Vaccine Institute, founded in 1993, has since continued his work.

Israel Update:
I would like to explain the Israeli sentiment, I mean the sensitivities of the Israeli society.
Israel is more sensitive to hostage situations than most other nations. This is both a biblical command and duty and social closeness to each other. We feel close to the suffering of the hostages and their families. So the enemy takes advantage on it. They know.
I am not trying to say that it’s right or wrong. Just that it is.
But, on the same level Israel is sensitive to the loss of soldiers in battle. You can see many thousands attend funerals of people they never knew. Every soldier who falls takes front page with their face and story on all the headlines of media.
So why am I telling you this? Because it will make you understand better what is going on now and what will be.
There is a contradiction between getting the hostages back, to winning the war by eliminating Hamas out of existence or to a non-significant level. You don’t want full fire on hostage areas, it’s close to impossible to rescue hostages from tunnels.
Bibi is very good in maneuvering around the US politics. He spent many years in the US as a student and otherwise. With Biden he maneuvered around the Progressive stupidity and moral corruption. I have objected to his lingering and hesitations in order to satisfy the Biden’s Administration. I think that there were ways to end this war much faster if not for “dancing to Biden’s tunes”.
With Trump it’s a whole different ballgame. Bibi understands Trump very well.
He would never be so stupid as Zelensky just showed us.
The policy with Biden was “to get around the objections as much as possible without losing the US completely”.
The policy with Trump is “to persuade and align forces 100% as much as possible”.
It’s a positive attitude. “To align”. With Biden it was a negative “To bypass objections”.
So Mr. Steve Witkoff, Trump’s Rep, came in and Bibi was the one to originate a deal with phases. He already originated it in Biden’s time.
Bibi drafted this idea of phases because one phase for all the hostages required ending the war, a full withdrawal of the IDF and an International guaranty for Hamas to stay in power and safe from attack. This is not something that Bibi wants to do. Biden wanted it and pressured. Trump knows better.
So getting Hamas to agree to release as many as possible on phase one and then failing to come to agreements on Phase two and resuming the war was planned from the beginning.
Now, the plan didn’t come to agreement with Biden. With Trump the Hamas was afraid and took extreme pressure and also the negotiators took pressure. And Bibi agreed to give things that he refused before. A withdraw from Netarim Corridor (the area that splits North from South Gaza) and releasing larger numbers of terrorists than he originally agreed. A a note the real worst terrorists were not released.
Why did Bibi agree? Remember what I said, his policy with Trump is “to persuade and agree”. Bibi managed to get more hostages released than Hamas agreed with Biden and Bibi managed to align with Trump and the rewards didn’t take too long to arrive. Trump totally took the Israeli side and shifter right. Even more than Bibi. And today the US approved a 4 Billion dollars deal with an expedited delivery, under an “American National Security interest” clause. Bypassed the Congress. Almost everything that we wanted in huge quantities. I don’t think it will arrive soon enough but it means a lot. Thousands of heavy bunker buster bombs of various sizes and more. Trump’s relocating Gazans plan is also seen as a big win for Israel.
So what’s next? I told you that the plan was never to pass phase one.
Mr. Witkoff proposed that half of the remaining hostages will be exchanged in the next week or so in exchange for releasing terrorists and for an additional 40 days ceasefire in the Ramadan holy month of the Muslims.
Bibi accepted the plan. Remember that he is now on a 100% alignment policy with Trump.
The Hamas has already declined it. But we will give it a few more days of pressure and see if the decline is solid and from all the way up. It’s hard for me to predict that they will agree.
Today Bibi said that he is stopping the humanitarian aide. Pressure. They had some 600 trucks per day since the phase began. We estimate that they accumulated supplies for 6 months. So when the aide is off, time is against Hamas.
Mr. Witkoff wants to arrive to phase 2 and discuss the end of war and Hamas leadership to be expelled from Gaza. Hamas no longer in control. Hamas will never agree and will try to drag time.
I just hope that we will not now wait two months and get nothing. This will enable them to make Gaza very hard to deal with militarily. They are setting up numerous bombs and cameras and remote detonators, etc…. Knowing Trump I don’t think that he will be agreeable to dragging time.
So last week the new Chief of Staff approached the South Command and wanted to see what they will do, the plans. He declined it and told them that “he wants to see a more aggressive plan that incorporates the IDF’s values of “victory” and “crushing the enemy” and “faster”. He is expected to return by the end of the next week and see the new plans. I am hopeful that this is real and not just “PR for the base”. I do hear from various sources that it’s real, a massive plan. Unfortunately after 10/7 there is a trust crisis between the people of Israel and the leadership of the IDF and the new boss needs to prove himself.

It’s almost surreal that Israel provides free electricity (or electricity at all!) and humanitarian aide to the enemy! People seem to shy away from that term – but, Hamas is their enemy. It would be comparable to the US providing food and power to Nazi Germany in 1943.
These people need to focus on providing for themselves and becoming self sufficient rather than sowing hate and terror. Perhaps the dismantling of USAID and loss of funds will give them some impetus to begin that transition. We can always dream.
The better mentality, money from the US, Qatar, Iran, UN, Arab nations, etc… enabled them to have time and money to build the greatest underground city in the world. I remember a lead person in Hamas asked about it and he said : “It’s not our job to provide for Gaza”. As if it’s the world’s job.

IIRC, fully one third of the murderous thugs released from Gitmo go back into the fray. That is what officials admit to. I believe it is much larger percentage than that.
Israeli Internal Security agency (Shabak) said that about 82% return to terrorism. I believe that Israel will kill and detain again many but we will also shed a lot of blood. As I said “Israel is sensitive to hostage situations and they take advantage of it.” Israel’s Progressive Deep State is controlling the court systems and has been blocking the death penalty to terrorists. Bibi never tried to push against it. Bibi has some blame in this situation.

Thank you Jeff. By the way it’s the CoS of all the IDF, not of the South Command. The IDF has only one CoS.
That’s the idea. To make them want to let go of hostages for a way out abroad (the leadership).
It should have been the plan in the first place and it’s a massive failure that we had such a bad deal and after so many months. But, one of the problems was that our previous Chief of Staff placed the return of the hostages as THE prime goal. A military’s goal should be nothing less than the complete destruction or surrender of the enemy! Not “securing a deal for hostages”. With the correct goal the hostages can also be traded like in our previous wars in 1967 and 1973 when we traded IDF captured soldiers after they were massively destroyed and in 1973 we had almost their entire military surrounded in the desert with no supplies, could all be killed if not for the US and Kissinger who stopped it and made a deal.

The YAMAM is the national counter terror unit of Israel. The best that we have. I can go on and on about them but this is a rare short video of a YAMAM warrior at the range. Yet, on any given weekend in the US, many thousands of American civilians are doing exactly the same shooting drills at public and private shooting ranges across the US, at the same skill level, with the same firearms (plus or minus certain features, such as pistol optics or full-auto rifles).
Israel should re-think “Purity of Arms” and adopt a legal and self-defense framework similar to America’s Second Amendment.
I agree about the need for a Second Amendment. But in fact the need is for a Constitution. But there is a political deadlock against it because “Equal rights and duties” would force the Ultra Ortodox Jews and Arab Israelis to serve in the Military or at least do some service instead. The Religious parties are the”king makers” at the moment. If they leave Bibi loses.
As to the YAMAM, you may be able to compare range shooting of Elite Forces anywhere to Sports Shooting or Private gun enthusiasts. But you can’t really compare people who are on operations almost every day of the year for 7-15 years and more to anyone. The YAMAM is considered to be at the top three in the world in Counter terrorism and number one by far in experience. Every one of the worst killers gets to meet them, usually for the last time in their lives. They can repel from helicopters, can jump from rooftops of high rises into windows, they practice Krav Maga extensively, they use small missiles on fortified positions of terrorists, they have equipment that is confidential. Many SWAT teams world wide come to Israel to learn from them. They also have close ties to US Seals and Delta Force. Anyways the subject of Second Amendment is something else and I agree.
Israel gave licenses to hundreds of thousands since 10/7, in the past it was a few thousands per year.
But in Israel still the license doesn’t allow for a rifle, only a pistol.

Proverbs 29:25 The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.
Verse 25. – The fear of man bringeth a snare. He who, through fear of what man may do to him, think or say of him, does what he knows to be wrong, lets his moral cowardice lead him into sin, leaves duty undone, – such a man gets no real good from his weakness, outrages conscience, displeases God. See our Lord’s words (Matthew 10:28; Mark 8:3; and comp. Isaiah 51:12, etc). Whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe (Proverbs 18:10). Such trust carries a man safe through all dangers; fearing to offend God, living as always under his eye, he feels Divine protection, and knows that whatever happens is for the best. The LXX. joins this to the preceding verse, thus: “He who shareth with a thief hateth his own soul; and if, when an oath is offered, they who hear it give, no information, they fearing and reverencing men, are overthrown, but he that trusteth in the Lord shall rejoice.” They add another rendering of the last verse, “Ungodliness causeth a man to stumble, but he who trusts in the Lord (ἐπὶ τῷ δεσπότῃ 2 Peter 2:1) shall be saved.” Δεσπότης is used for Jehovah in the New Testament, e.g., Luke 2:2; Acts 4:2.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Howdy my sister, Duchess.
I cannot speak for everyone – only for me. We are swimming in a tidal wave. Those of us still forced to work amongst the trappings of this age. Battle fatigue is real, but wisdom comes from knowing how to compartmentalize, shield, when to speak and when to remain silent. Don’t enter into every battle – one cannot negotiate with terrorists, the mentally insane, and the immoral anyway. Don’t throw pearls to swine.
The wise LOOK UP. Where does our help come from? It comes from The Lord Who Loves us with an abiding and eternal love. We look to the place where Jesus creates a room for us in His Father’s House. Home.
This place is just temporary and we are all here for God’s Divine Purpose and we seek His Revealing. We sow the seeds and GOD Is Responsible for the yield.

After 6 months of probably the worst days of my life (4 months of a dying wife followed by 2 of deep uncertainty, abandonment and betrayal) (not by her of course) I can now attest to all that the promise of our God is as true today as it has ever been and will be. To be sure, I was delivered to many tests of faith, which only a few years ago, I know and acknowledge I would have failed miserably – resorting to old familiar patterns of “self help” and God forbid, even abandonment of faith completely. However by His grace, guidance, and now, as I can confirm, His steadfast love to those who hold true, today received news that there is indeed light and justice for those who wait for Him. In thanks, and opening randomly to Psalm 40, I felt again that God was speaking and answering me personally – not necessarily in the order of the psalm, but true in every word.

Thank you all for the kind words. She passed 31 December and I did post a day or 2 later. However he passing was not as devastating ( I had already reconciled to the fact that it is only the body that dies, the spirit lives on eternally). What I was not prepared for was the deep deep sense of loss (my own) when all of a sudden one is almost overcome by the “hole” left in one’s soul, and left feeling so alone. What almost broke me was how quickly the vultures swoop, and you find out just how much greed exists in what you always thought of as “family”. “Friends” disappear as soon as they realize there are no “bones” to pick and all of a sudden you are on your own “buddy”. The big ole house now feels both a solitary prison and huge undertaking almost too big to handle alone.
However as stated, after 2 loooong months, finally there is light ahead, thanks be to God. Remember I posted some time back that in the “last” days it will feel as if one is climbing a glass wall and only faith alone will allow one to “stick”. Perhaps this is/was just a trail run for the real thing. Just imagine what the people must have felt seeing The House of God (Temple) burned to the ground, children, priests and righteous men and woman slaughterd – almost impossible to think one could maintain one’s faith. By comparison, I think all of us are but “youth’s” in the faith game.

Very hard for us to understand that every grain of sand, every particle, atom, quark, even the actions of our “enemies” AND our responses to them are all carefully choreographed in perfection by the Maker in order to bring about His perfect plan. One is both tiny and huge at the same time – all of us an integral part of the whole. WE are the “un-propagandizable”. From an early date in my childhood, God showed me things in dreams. Prophetic dreams. People died. I knew it before it happened and was powerless to stop it, because no one listened to me. I saw the “church” fail to serve, time and again. Despite entering into the hospitality ministry and, at one time, in its leadership… I couldn’t get over the chinks in the armor I saw. Not small things, big ones… ones that I knew couldn’t reconcile my soul to “submission” and thus the lament in my Spirit in my prayers to God.
Was in hospitality ministry of big, powerful Central Indiana church – the one Mike Pence attend(ed)s. Not sure if he went back there as we left during his term in office as the V.P. There were MANY in the church adopting Haitian children. Almost as stylish as the Italian shoes and handbags the well-heeled ladies wore.
Next came, critical race theory and the utter condemnation from the pulpit for the color of our skin – something God-Given and none of us could change. The preaching came from social, Nicolaitan go-along-to-get-along… but getting along wasn’t enough. We must suffer.
One of the elders of said church, a powerful billboard lawyer, revealed his satanist nature to me. I was shocked at his revealing, but think he felt “free” to do so via attorney/client privilege. What he told me was appalling, racist, cruel, and disgusting.
One of the MANY stories – too many and graphic to cover – an seventy year old woman in the congregation, sings in the choir – her husband committed suicide then the adult son – in his bed at her home – a year later, I went to serve her to help her with landscaping and flower beds – she tries to give me her son’s bed to give to another man going through a divorce for his own son – and she takes me to his room where the soiled bed still remains with her son’s blood and personal affects. She was utterly crazy – insane – and she was still living amongst the remnants of the crime scene of her son’s suicide. I left there practically screaming to the church for help for her. The stories I have could fill a novel.
A huge fracture was underway – like huge crevasses and sink holes under the surface finally breaking through – I reported to my post one morning at an information desk… and in a congregation of almost 10,000 people… I recognized NO ONE in the crowded vestibule. Not a single known face. Started asking around – where is everybody? – huge, mass exodus. More racially divisive… church employees… overcome and publicly posting discord online and shaming the white congregation. Old neighborhood – happened to be white. Affluent – the affluence led to more difficult questions politically as I started getting more involved and immersed – like getting sucked in by quicksand.
We have interesting various circles – as daughter attended 9 years at powerful, prestigious Christian college prepatory. Secretive – private anonymous message boards – people trying to connect dots and seek answers – next thing you know…. the IT Director jumps to his death from a school building roof… at 7:30 in the morning where all could see. News buried. Multiple incidents and cracks in the facade – multiple news articles buried. Numerous improprieties – athletics stripped for two years for malfeasance. White collar crime of the grandparents to the students – Medicare fraud – elderly abuse and fleecing at nursing and assisted living facilities – personally experienced privileged review of some of the court documents after a connected attorney ended up insane and fled a case of one of the said grandparents who was so loose-lipped he shared with me of the “others” like him at the prestigious school. Crafty criminals who float above the law often have narcissistic tendencies that make them proud of their escapades – especially when in the presence of a powerless peon. The malfeasance people could see… but the unseen was even deeper…
We also participated in local Christian sports and AWANA programs and in-person Bible Study Fellowship – lots of connections – lots of “six degrees of Kevin Bacon” connected. Started seeing failings of small churches and our “big politically connected church” would take up the failures, install new preachers custom selected from their program, and would acquire, rebrand, and relaunch the small churches – making mini powerful satellites all over the city. Would lease back the buildings for $1 a month. Pours over $1 million a year into a known, high crime, Indy neighborhood – dozens of churchgoers sell their lives and go live among the crime – to turn it around. It never turns around. Never. Why? Tens of millions of dollars.
Rumors and proof of organized white collar crime. Child trafficking. Government coordination and deep vesting into the adoptions. Elder tells me they believe it’s being run as an underground railroad for child trafficking. Same elder highly politically connected – Reagan appointee in his administration – she a RINO, her husband a DemonRAT. Her husband working with John Piper (a known and open Anti-Trumper who encouraged Christians NOT to vote in 2016 and 2020 elections) and now Piper and this lawyer husband are writing school curriculum for children. The RINO wife starts organizing “patriot” groups – I tell her maybe she should sit this one out – especially as her marriage strains and her children actively protest conservativism and son gets attacked and repeatedly attempts suicide. Aren’t church leaders supposed to have their own houses in order?
We see massive building remodels / additions – rebranding where all the church signs look the same removing the word “church” from their titles. New. Modern. Where are they getting all this money???? I’ve sat in the sanctuaries during fundraising missions. Now the fundraising has shifted… not to internal missions… to Ukraine.
Ledgers don’t add up. If the USA is pouring billions into Ukraine, why are churches organizing coat drives and shaking people down for donations by the truckload? Are they really putting all this stuff on an airplane or a freighter across the ocean… to Ukraine? Why are the sensory rooms for autistic children and local parental assistance groups closing down, never to be reopened. Hundreds of thousands of square feet in community service church buildings stand vacant and not serving our local communities? Lights are on, but nobody’s home.
We searched and searched – checking the messaging of over ten different churches in our area – we are heavily Spirit-led – the churches are all dead. The people are sheep and the pastors are literally falling apart at the seams at their pulpits – so conflicted, so ill-supported, so overwhelmed that they are having nervous breakdowns and their families are falling apart, while the congregation just sits there staring. I literally came out of my seat, seated in the back, yelling to the Pastor our support – to try to drum up the congregation – to go to him, serve him, don’t let him weep and fall apart in the front of the church. I come from a faith that goes down and lays a hand on our pastor and openly prays and organizes and aides our parish families. We saw nepotism and grift and even the smaller churches trying to start their own grift of an independent Christian school where the mother and son were controlling board members of three – and the son was illiterate in his writing – yet wants to lead the charge of a school?
We won’t go back. The Nicolaitans are revealed in the book of Revelation. When Jesus returns again, He not only goes after the evildoers… He goes after the Nicolaitans… those double-minded in the church who go along to get along with the ways of this world. Who have forgotten Who they serve and who, instead, serve themselves from the troughs of evil and unrighteousness.
Now the church is a popular attraction for the scheming. Just another client list of those to prey upon. It is utterly ALARMING. Those “churches” buying and selling politicians like the very trinkets traded in the Temple – when Jesus took His Hand Up and started tossing tables at the exchange. People are still buying “indulgences”.
The sad thing is that those who were already cynical at the churches’ service and morality are now… even further… fractured. They see the fake personas and have no trust in the congregations who, together have power, but refused to stand against the regime protecting their tax-free status… and somehow funding those build outs and re-brandings.
How can one sing in the choir, yet maliciously fund and prop up the Deep State in their free time? Freedom for me and not for thee.
We are deeply vested in our faith – we were blind, but now we see, and we can’t unsee. I have lived in San Antonio – covered territory to Eagle Pass on the border, covered Los Angeles county, and lived in communist Seattle and never in my life and travels have I seen a more criminal element than that which I see in Central Indiana religion and politics. Never. In Los Angeles… the criminals openly reveal themselves. In Indiana – you hand off your child innocently believing they are safe and background checks are conducted. But what happens when those background records are expunged or never reported???? Swept clean by the connected…
We grow more than corn in Indiana – we grow dirty politicians.

I don’t think I’d have stayed at any church once I had become aware of evil among church leadership at any level. I left the last church I had regularly attended when I became aware of strife among some of the leaders and it did not seem to be addressed by the pastor or other church leaders. That was in 1984. The church I now attend is in Texas and so I attend virtually. Their house is in good order and is managed well by the pastor.

You are 100% correct. 1st Timothy 3 describes the requirements for Overseers and Deacons, and of course that applies to any church leaders including the Pastor.
But you have described a dilemma that exists among far too many churches in this nation; far too much emphasis has been placed on churchianity, church as a social center, and money. Leaving little time left for studying & learning Bible Doctrine. The focus on money from government for housing illegal aliens has destroyed at least 2 or 3 major US church organizations’ credibility. They just don’t know it yet…
The head of the church (Pence’s church) I speak of, Bari, just assumed his role as head of The Gospel Coalition effective today.

Agree with Nickson; There is no reasonable explanation for how so many children came across the border and then disappeared. They have been trafficked and it disgraces our culture.
All things forbidden become the market of mafiosi: alcohol, gambling, drugs, gay bars, prostitution, abortion, organ harvesting. These things cannot be eradicated, but they could become a LOT less common were we ruled by self-control under God, instead of ruled by mobsters

One wonders, Wondering999, how history will write the legacy of our generation and the failure to protect our children, and the willingness to sacrifice them so easily. Makes me sick thinking on it.
