I first came across this moving rendition just as the 2020 election “results” became clear; and the full force of what had been hit me. It was when this most wonderful American chorale sang “Protect us by Thy might, Great God, our King.” that I burst into tears, understanding what had been done and how our beloved Republic was seemingly lost.
A moment I’ll never ever forget.
In the darkest moment of our country’s history when we all stood in shock, this hymn kept the small ember of hope that remained within me burning.
Our loving Father, Almighty God, has been merciful.
That is the song we should be hearing instead of America the Beautiful. Very inspiring.

What is there to “look into”? It either happened, or it didn’t. And we have the receipts that it did.
So we’re still seeing narrative control; delay, obfuscate, deny…. Until the next news cycle grabs attention.
Really? So, using your logic, there is no point in looking into the Epstein files any further, right? It either happened or didn’t, so what’s the point, eh?

To answer your rhetorical question: Yes, we have the receipts. We know it happened. But, what can be “looked into” is to determine what laws were broken, who was accountable (in addition to Comey) and gather hard evidence that could potentially be used to gain indictments.
Another reason to “look into” this further is to bring this story back into the spotlight so that more Americans learn what happened, why it happened and who did it. Years ago, when many of us first learned about Russia, Russia, Russia and all the corruption/illegal acts that the FBI (and others) had done, the new media wasn’t as mature as it is now. X was still owned by the left.
And, lastly, A LOT of Americans weren’t yet red-pilled years ago when we last had some journalists talking about this story. Today, they are and will likely be learning about all this for the first time.
In short, I am happy that this is being “looked at” in depth again. Plenty of potential value.

I work from home and my company knows exactly when I am working and when I’m not working and pretty much what I am doing. They know if I am producing any work and if it is at an acceptable amount.
So I don’t understand how you can have a job where you work from home and no one knows if you’re even working. And then complain if someone asked you to tell them what you did all day. The arrogance of the government workers is revolting.
So, some of this falls into what’s going on with CRE….IMO. But that’s a separate narrative.
There are gov’t jobs that can be done from home. I did it during Covid. My gripe is that both sides of the argument are largely one sided. There are always opportunity costs no matter the point picked in the solution space.
The reason your company knows what you are doing is they set up the system to know (for example, computer checks, reviewing work material, reports or work output you produce that interfaces with others). Your manager obviously stays on top of your work.
But if government managers don’t set up their system to manage employee work product, they will not know what employees are doing.
It seems our President has received indications that not all government managers are paying attention. This seems to be a feature, not an oversight. He might have info that some jobs are make work for the purpose of paying Democrat or other operatives. Another purpose could be to “stash cash” for Democrat initiatives.
I applaud what Musk is doing and like President Trump said hope Musk gets more aggressive.
These crooks have gotten away with massive corruption for years and now is our best chance to get it stopped. The participants need to pay back the money and the leaders need to go to jail. But first we need to catch and document them.

However, during a career that encompassed military, contractor and civl service gov’t service – I did not incur a single instance in which cost, schedule performance records were not kept and covered, ad nauseam, every single week in progress meetings. Government may suffer from poor managers but it does not suffer from policies and certifications that require constant monitoring and management as a component of the overarching contract competition/execution and engineering processes.
At one time I also worked for the government and agree with your post.
My point is that some “managers” in government are scamming by having people who aren’t working — giving favorite people perks, funneling money into causes, setting up cash reserves for “special projects,” and many more reasons.
All this seems to be happening because President Trump is so aggressive at finding the corruption. In other words, he must have indications there is a lot of corruption of this kind (lack of oversight on purpose).

I kept a healthy distance from the finance side of the house cause there were some questionable things going on – especially at the end of the fiscal year. Not necessarily illegal – but questionable. At least on the acquisition side, things are very dynamic. Toward the end of a fiscal year there might be emergent real world needs, or (very frustrating) the customer would change requirements well after appropriation/allocation, or unexpected technical problems would occur during development or the warfighter would hit up a program office with “this needs to be fixed now” letters, Congressionals might hit programs, or moneys are moved among programs as firewalls to other problems….it’s a fluid environment worsened by a million and one policies policies/regs designed, in concept, to follow the law and spend taxpayer moneys efficiently. I often thought of the excess regs as actually a power tool for authority to control subordinates: “you didn’t follow this obscure instruction as required among the thousand and one you have to follow. Do what I want (something questionable) or you will pay the piper.”
Some MAGA people don’t seem to realize how complex the environment can get, which also makes it easier for “creative” crooks to steal and cover up the crimes. Musk is up against a lot of complexity. What he and President Trump need from us is patience.
We also need to keep in mind as Musk said that his team won’t be perfect, but they will correct their mistakes.
It took many years to develop the deep level of corruption being found and it won’t be cleaned up in one month.

Not totally unrelated: watched a documentary the other night on the JFK assassination. There was the autopsy; there was the Warren Commission; there was a gov’t investigation in the 70s; there was the Clinton directed investigation in the 90s; there was the Assassination Records Review Board established in 1992. In each case, there has been recorded testimony that from day 1: the FBI intervened, in force, controlling handling of evidence that subsequently disappeared, threatening participants with court martials; Warren Commission refusing to hear testimony from key witnesses; huge efforts by the Secret Service to control testimony by all its agents and targeted witnesses; threats to the autopsy medical personnel; destruction by the Secret Service of ALL of its JFK records one week prior to inception of the ARRB; other instances of threats and obfuscation. A book was written that essentially laid out evidence, credible evidence, that the infamous third shot may have been accidentally fired by a Secret Service agent in the President’s security team – in other words, the Secret Service did everything it could to cover up. True? I don’t know. What I do know is that there is a factual trail that the FBI and ESPECIALLY the Secret Service worked over time to railroad investigations down a pre-determined path.
Sounds familiar. Does anyone seriously doubt that similar efforts have been attempted (certainly destruction of evidence) for Epstein and very likely the attempted Trump assassinations? In short, some folks may be setting expectations too high. The key, it turns out, is getting actual human testimony recorded and investigated – before they die (naturally or otherwise).
I don’t belive there will be magic revelations, what I do belive is that there are materials that we have not seen and they were promised to us and we just went through a giant head fake where the Attorney General pretended to have everything on her desk, claimed to have seen it, and then went through a big charade with the new head of the FBI.

Personally, I think Trump’s idea is this. He now controls Ukraine, peace with Russia is his decision, Z steps down, elections are held, and America continues to profit, and rebuild Ukraine. What the Duran does say, and I believe is a fact is, Ukrainians will be highly resentful, and Americans will be asking what happened to “America First”

-every Bill proposed by Congress before it can even be voted on.

-every grant proposed by every agency
-every proposal for foreign aid
-every agency’s rent, expenditures, employee hiring, firing and productivity
-eliminate frivolous spending by Congress for naughty boy slut payoffs.
-every Budget must be balanced before it can be approved.
Curbing Congress’ largesse and spending power and fiscal transparency will be a good thing indeed for the financial future of the USA!
Every elected official should also have to submit a full financial report of personal and ‘other’ financial endeavors such as tax shelters, off-shore accounts, non-profits, etc. They should not be allowed to get money from lobbyists, foreign governments or other corporate interests and then vote to enrich those interests.
Corporations, such as pharmaceutical companies, food manufacturers should also have to report and get approval before donating money to federal agencies such as FDA, NIH, EPA to the FAFO.
Gee, that would remove most incentives for people to run for elected positions. Where would all the bandits go…bill

I sympathize because I deal with the same TDS stuff. It’s a hard fought battle to get liberals to see reason but it always fails. This is the sure fire way to be ostracized by coworkers as well as your community.
Maybe Michael B wanted to point out that you could confront the person who laughed? From your second comment it seems you might have. But from how you wrote your first comment, it seemed you more or less hung your head in shame and turned away.
His point maybe is that we all need to confront these people whenever the chance arises. Like Musk, we can also acknowledge when things are executed poorly (as for example what Bondi did). We can say everything is new and we are giving her a chance but if she doesn’t repair her mistakes and improve we will ask for her to be replaced.
We don’t need to be perfect before we feel right about confronting the dems. On a scale from 1 to 10 they are off the charts and we need to tell them so. None of our missteps could come close to what they’ve done.
My experience in confronting people like the dems who laughed about Bondi is that I hardly ever make a dent in their thinking. That is probably a combination of I need to improve and the fact that dems are mentally ill (some worse than others).
But once in a while what I say makes someone stop and reconsider. That is a win for our side. Besides, you never speak up, you for sure will have a 100% loss record.
For inspiration, look at the courageous people who have spoken up and how by keeping at it they are making a difference. Examples are national organizations started by ordinary people, ordinary people bravely speaking up at school boards, and ordinary people who in conversations refuse to pretend.

Now that he has his cabinet in place, along with President Trump I like to think of these cabinet heads as islands scattered throughout the swamp. In the swamp they are on dry land but surrounded by brackish swamp water.
President Trump aware of this knew he had to drain the swamp; this is where DOGE and Elon comes in. Though they have begun to drain the swamp, there is still a thick nasty layer of water and underneath that is thick mud, and the swamp is now looking more like a bog.
Though the cabinet members can now see their agencies linking up like Pam Bondi (DOJ) and Kash Patel (FBI) it’s still deep mud between them. Have you ever tried running in mud?
Though they have their water waders on and can now traverse the swamp, island (cabinet) to island, the mud is knee high and it’s still a tough slog. Bear in mind in this mud are where the deepest and darkest swamp demons lurk and their secrets dwell going back 110+ years.
So now “FIVE WEEKS” into President Trump’s second administration with the hand wringing over the Epstein Files is, to be nice, is silly.
This to me is the place where trolls dwell and will say he/she said; “On day one I will______!”
In the swamp, things do not happen with the click of your finger, yet. Perhaps the person on the first day requested whatever information, but the information is stuck in the bog. President Trump has been in office for 5 weeks but the GOPe has drug their feet on passing President Trump’s cabinet appointments and so his cabinet has only been in place for about a week. I agree with you, this site seems to be infected with manchurian trolls that received their marching orders to cause angst and division.
We don’t want to become complacent, a little heat is a good thing. You can bet there are people looking in at CTH from the White House, they know Sundance has the chops and can read the seams on a fast ball. But some want to throw the baby out with the bath water, that’s a troll IMO.

There are a few trolls but there are many Battered Conservatives who lost their taste for pretending several years ago.
For me, it’s tough to get excited about anything facing the challenges of trying to survive with soul crushing daily pain so bad it is difficult to walk with few to no feasible ways to satiate said pain and zero medical care or social safety net.
I don’t get paid to read as many facts as possible and make decisions for the Administration. Maybe I should. Reality is cut and dried for me. This Administration needs No Nonsense Individuals, not career pretenders with their heads in the “fluffy pink pu$$y clouds”.. Maybe you have time for this sh!t, I don’t. I have been in crisis mode since 2019.
I will believe again when we have a budget that includes tax cuts. When even one evil doer from the government agencies involved in trafficking children goes to jail. This is happening all over the country. I went into Our local USFS District office last fall to get a permit. It was locked during business hours. Lights were on but nobody answered my knocking. This is a large office that administers about 1/4 of Nevada.

Regarding Epstein, I keep think that surely someone other than the FBI has the goods. I don’t believe Epstein wouldn’t have had back up of his blackmail material, just in case. Of course, maybe not, he did end up in prison and suicided. I still believe there is someone out there who could spill it all, at least a good amount, if properly pursuaded to do so. No one made copies for CYA purposes?
But my fundamental question, with regards to this(!) material, is how much “trust” can we actually place in it? If I were on a jury, I would not consider it. God’s Angels are finally getting to celebrate some wins with US. They are constantly under attack, and we have no clue about it. They fight for each of us. We might even have individual angels protecting us. They are the forgotten soldiers in all of this. Remember, they, like God, love us. They didn’t abandon God, like Lucifer and his minions. There is a battle raging around us all. Right now, good has the upper hand for the first time in quite awhile. Thank you, Lord!

Right now, people all over America are having their coffee and discussing how the FBI in the SDNY are protecting child sex traffickers. Disclosure on our own agencies is KEY to getting our country back on track. I’m frustrated we didn’t get what we were supposed to yesterday, but the bi-product of this situation is, Americans are now glaring at the FBI through a new lens.
