President Trump is negotiating the end of the war. Doing that requires looking at more than one piece of the mess.
Right now, to get things started, President Trump is adamant that we get our money back (money given to Ukraine). It looks like he is close to making that deal, and that deal also gives us rare minerals we need. Win-win.
Another piece concerns ongoing fighting. Right now the money Biden has been giving Ukraine has kept the war going. President Trump wants to end it on a permanent basis, so he is giving Ukraine a chance to end the fighting. If they don’t he has the option to stop the money. That stops the war unless the EU ponies up, which doesn’t seem likely.
As to Russia, President Trump has indicated he wants to build a relationship with Russia. As an example I read that Putin is interested in joint development of rare minerals on their land. As long as President Trump supports no NATO for Ukraine, which he is doing, that seems possible. It also seems from everything President Putin had said over many years that he wants to build a relationship.
What you are missing is that these various pieces need to be done in a certain order for President Trump to be satisfied, and maybe the same for President Putin.
A wild card is the erratic and stupid Zelensky. He keeps mucking up the rare earth deal, which is required by Preside Trump. Maybe Z has a plan to stall or maybe there are too many EU voices telling him what to do. Who knows, but that has been the bottleneck up until now.
You need to give Preside Trump a chance to smooth out all these various pieces and to also achieve what he wants (money back and rare earth).
As long is NATO is off the table, which it is, it looks like Presidents Trump and Putin are pretty much on the same page. If the rare earth gets signed, we’ll see Putin’s moves next. He is a smart guy who wants the best for Russia and that is to build a relationship with us (and what President Trump also wants to do).

OK so it was a remote participation and it’s not clear to me that they spoke at all. Then I saw commentary about “effectiveness of flu vaccines without US participation?” Sounds like the want more US money to fund whatever they have in mind.
The last time I had the flu it was probably between 15 and 20 years ago. I stopped consuming a number of things including commercial milk and not taking any more flu shots. I can’t say WHY I stopped getting sick all of the time, I just know I removed a lot of things that could have been a cause or contributor and it has worked.. maybe… maybe it’s all coincidence… right?
I also stopped (more recently) all of these processed “vegetable oils” and my body aches have decreased DRAMATICALLY. I actually sinned a bit with McDonald’s fries and the pain came back as if I never stopped. The return of the pains were more dramatic than the removal. Just stop doing those things!!! Olive oil and Beef Tallow and Lard…. is peanut oil OK? I’m not sure of that. I think it’s pressed from peanuts and not chemically processed… does anyone know for sure?
What I’ve seen recommended are olive, avocado and coconut oil, and the best are organic and unrefined (will say that on the label).
I haven’t seen peanut oil recommended, but if you want to use it, the key would be to get a brand that is the least refined. I haven’t bought it, so am not sure if there is a brand of peanut oil that says organic and unrefined on the label.

We do NOT have the resources to deliver goods though for the folks in need into the hollers and creeks. We do not have transportation available to do that .. no we don’t. The WH would do well to simply state, when it comes to egg prices, that the prior regime killed millions of chickens. It takes 18 weeks to get from an egg to an egg-laying chicken. That is 4-5 months per chicken.

That’s 21 MILLION chickens you have to grow to egg-producing maturity PLUS the time it takes for those 21 MILLION new chickens to themselves start laying eggs. PLUS the time to get those eggs into the supply chain.

This looks like something similar to what I have heard referred to a “Plan B” option. Many countries offer a process by which a non-citizen can acquire “legal resident” status along with the ability to obtain a passport from the host country.
It usually involves some sort of financial investment (cash, business or real estate) and spending a specified amount of time in the host country in order to qualify.
Generally speaking, the reason for this is to have an option – Plan B – if your home country (Plan A) faces some sort of crisis or in some way becomes intolerable to continue to live there; an “escape hatch” if you will.

The current requirement is 1 million dollars paid by the emigrant (not some sponsor or company) and they have to create 2 permanent full time jobs. What President Trump is proposing is to raise that to 5 million still paid by the emigrant and he/she must create 10 permanent full time jobs. I say, again, when are we going to hear from the cabinet heads? I appreciated our DOGE representative’s presentation but it’s time to move on.
Would love to have another televised cabinet meeting where there are no questions from the press. Some useful work might get done and it would give us a chance to see it happen.
When the USA was just starting, the representatives were making little progress until they took to praying before each session. So good to have the meeting begin with prayer.
We never see the actual meeting, only the intro (in this case, an hour long q&a). But discussions in the meeting are classified.
Not likely! These are his direct reports and what they have to say in open session with “the Boss” is none of your business. Someone mispronounces a word and it becomes headlines. No just show me results I really don’t give a darn how you got there. The real meeting took place after the press was kicked out and they could relax and and tend to business.
What you see is the most transparent administration in my life time and I go back to President Truman.
I hope when President Trump finds out who was really pulling the strings in the White House and that President Biden was not mentally fit to make the decisions that he signed that the puppeteer/s will be exposed and shamed. Surely that would mean that all Biden’s Executive Orders were illegal? The main people to be blamed are the puppeteer/s, the Democrat politicians and senators and Kamala Harris, and of course Biden’s wife, family and President Obama.

The press there was such a waste. They had an opportunity to ask much better questions than they did.

President Trump is giving away too much information about Russia/Ukraine. Russia is paying close attention and according to The Duran, Russian Kremlin is denying everything President Trump is saying with regard to his meeting with Putin.
These reporters are asking questions that are deliberately enticing too much information from President Trump and that is actually interfering with future talks. Only adding to the confusion that already exists.

I’m amazed by the things our President has accomplished in such a short time and grateful as well. Now, I’d like to see guilty parties go to prison. That is one thing that will help get our Republic back where it needs to be. Everyone needs to know by example that there is only one set of laws in our Republic, and they apply to everyone from the richest to the poorest.
