She was born during a night of -12 temps.
Checked my stable camera and found her motionless, lying on the ground with her first time Mama not knowing what to do for her.
Ran outside and picked her lifeless body up and instantly started to get her dry.
She was so cold she wasn’t even shivering and could barely breath, there was no movement of any kind.
Thought for sure she wasn’t going to make it.
It took 6 hours of towel drying and heat lamps just to get the muscles in her legs to start working.
10 hours later she was just barely standing, drinking from a syringe, and trying to speak.
It was such a -beautiful and emotional experience.
Later that day, her Mama took to her and she finally started nursing.
She’s 6 days old now and doing amazingly well! 💓”
