I disagree with the tone and message of this post. Like Sundance, I too am a Florida resident. Unlike Sundanc, I approve of Gov. DeSantis and the job he has done for the State. Contrary to the negative underlying tone of this biased article, I assure you Ron DeSantis is liked and respected by an overwhelming majority of Floridians. Tone the hate down please!

Isn’t it a bit fishy that he won by such a huge margin and the voting machines haven’t been removed? I bet if Casey runs, the voting machines will be working overtime to make her a governor. Also, I hear that not one thing has been done to deal with the huge homeowners insurance costs which is not good .

Arriving in Plymouth County, MA a decade ago, a local, state-level politician had passed during his term and his wife was appointed to finish out the term.
She opted to run for reelection. I noticed her signage had strongly bolded and large block letters for her last name while her first name was whispy and much less prominent. I remember thinking, ‘welcome to MA politics’. To me, she clearly was running on the last name.
She lost that election.
