In May of last year, the Maine Principals’ Association (MPA) adopted a new “Gender Identity Participation Policy,” making it a snap for high school boys to compete on all-girl sports teams girls, as long as they identify as female.
Here is an excerpt from MPA’s utterly insane new policy:
“The Maine Principals’ Association is committed to providing all students with an equal opportunity to participate in interscholastic athletics regardless of their sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity.”
The MPA policy defines “gender identity” as a “student’s innate sense of their gender, which may be the same or different from their sex assigned at birth.”
MPA defines “non-binary” as “a student whose gender identity does not conform to traditional binary beliefs about gender being exclusively male or female.”
“Non-binary” students who wished to participate in MPA sponsored interscholastic athletics do not need to provide any medical records or official documents to establish their “gender identity, ” in fact, the MPA policy explicitly prohibits schools from requesting a student’s medical records to establish their “gender identity.”
All that’s required is for the student to “declare their gender identity” to their school, and the student’s school will have the “sole authority to determine gender identity assignment for the purposes of athletic registration and participation in MPA sponsored events.”

Two things:
1. Maine will lose in court. Title 9 protects biological women, period. In order to get $250 million in federal funding, Maine entered into a contract with the Department of Education, promising to follow that federal civil rights law. Her reliance on contrary state law will prove fatal to any continued recalcitrance.

I live in Maine and consider Comrade Mills to be the worst governor in the country. Not only is she on board with the trans nonsense, she’s all in on windmills in the ocean, draconian full-term abortions and has opened our state to illegal aliens. We call her Jackboot Janet after locking down the state during Covid which lead to 20% of small businesses closing their doors. Definitely should be impeached and given an orange jumpsuit.

The best outcome for this despicable women would be to have DOGE audit her in her capacity as Governor.
The best outcome would be a rapid imprisonment for not complying with Federal law as stated in the EO.
Until an example is made, it’s just talk.
I do not think that is a good course of action. What should happen instead is that the conflict between the State and the Federal governments should work its way through the courts with vigorous arguments on both sides. When it works its way to the Supreme court it can be finally decided. That system is a good one, though slow it should be inherently fair. In this case as fair as it can possibly be with people making decisions.
I say this because when the Biden administration had the waxen effigy sign a wave of EO’s (slow Joe had no idea what he was scribbling on), they were argued in court.
Our legal system is the worst in the world, except for all the others… /s!

Maine is hopeless. Also, VT, and New Hampshire has Jake Sullivan’s commie Dem wife as a Congresscritter. You need to be sure when you are talking about Treason. The trial needs to be fair if you are putting the former vice president and former speaker of the house on trial where death is a reasonable penalty. Pence and Pelosi overturned a legitimate election, they should be able to defend themselves. Same with those who opened our border — I would maintain that is also Treason. We can hang them once they are found guilty, right in front of the Lincoln memorial.
