The 3 cases were (in my own very non-legal understanding):
Hungary vs Simon: heirs of holocaust victims sued in the US. courts against the nation of Hungary claiming that the finances of that nation are only good because of the value of assets of the holocaust victims that they claim ended up, comingling, with other Hungary assets so they want money from Hungary so decided to use a US law to see if they could get it. The Court sent it back to lower courts with a list of specifics that the heirs have to prove before the US law they tried to sue under could even be considered to apply. Unanimous.
Wisconsin Bell vs US ex. rel. Heath: A man suing on behalf of the United States (in order to get a percentage of $ if ruled in favor of the federal govt) claiming that the telecommunications company in Wisconsin was cheating its customers out of money the federal govt had appropriated to help low income people afford telephone and internet. Sent back to lower courts after listing things the man has to prove there first. Unanimous.
Williams vs Reed: people in Alabama sued the State claiming it was foot-dragging in awarding unemployment benefits. Court says they sued prematurely because they didn’t exhaust all the channels before filing with the Supreme Court. Returned to lower courts. 5-4 decision with Kavanaugh (who wrote the opinion) and Roberts both siding with the liberal judges to send it back.

I may get some push back but I don’t think any President should be able to issue an unlimited preemptive pardon for anyone. I think this is a total abuse of power. President Trump at the end of his term had the courage to do the opposite of what some people in his own administration were encouraging him to do and others like the media and loud mouth democrats were instigating him to do, pardon himself and his family. He stood tall with conviction and truth that he and his family did nothing unlawful, pardon was not warranted.

This seems like it should be worldwide headline news, but with so much else going on there is hardly any notice. After the UK government attempting to coerce Apple to provide them with a backdoor security key to all encrypted worldwide users of iCloud, Apple has disabled the encryption security feature ADP for new users of iCloud in the UK. The article states they will be disabling access for current users at a later date.
If I am understanding this correctly, (and I may not be, so please correct me!): This will create privacy/ national security issues for US users as well? The UK will no longer have encrypted security for iCloud, and anyone doing business with a UK individual/company that uses iCloud could have their sensitive, proprietary, financial data compromised? Does that include using AirDrop?
I feel sorry for anyone in the UK having their life now turned upside down by this. It seems that so many people have become dependent on the use of their SMART phones to do everything in their life, thinking it would be always be secure. Apple seems to have chosen the lesser of two evils as it may have been even worse if they had given out a key to the backdoor encryption to all users in the world. They are only disabling the ADP security feature in the UK. So, the security breeches will happen only if you are involved with a UK business/ individual as there is no longer encrypted security on their end if I’ve got this right? I may not have this right as I am not a cyber security expert and in fact have never used iCloud because I’ve always had a suspicion this day would come, or that once everyone was totally dependent on iCloud, Apple would suddenly start charging an astronomical fee to access your iCloud space. Would love to hear from other Treepers who may be more knowledgeable on this subject. I apologize if I am way off base in how I am interpreting this move on Apple’s part. People on social media who live in the UK seem very upset about this and are saying they are ditching their iPhones. I would think Android users will be facing the same issues in the UK however, as this Fascist government is eliminating free speech and wants to spy on all of their citizens, not just Apple users, and fine/jail people for “infractions.” The UK has gone full Jack Boot.

What would you suggest as an alternative phone to use?
The data of people outside the UK in countries like the U.S. who haven’t had the encryption turned off will still be protected, even when doing business with someone from the UK with the exception of specific files which you give the public key to someone in the UK. As soon as they use the key, the UK government will be able to see it and thus see that file. As long as you don’t use the same key for all your files, the rest of your files remain as secure as they were before.
Personally, have never and will never store anything in “the cloud” and the only things put on the net are those things I wish anyone who wants to, to be able to see. (don’t use ‘smart phones’ either)

Chief Justice Roberts’ first ruling in the ongoing battle between President Trump and activist Lawfare federal Judges is NOT a good indication. The court ruled in a 5 Justice Panel hearing AGAINST President Trump firing the current head of the Whistleblower Office of the Federal Government.
Roberts sided with Jackson & Sotomyor vs Alito & Gorsuch.

It also needs to be mentioned, the current head of the Whistleblower Office did nothing to advance nor protect the Whistleblowers stepping forward vs the JoeBama Regime and in fact likely ratted them out for punishment.
The Roberts’ “potential exception” supports the arguments presented in the cases pending in the 1st Federal District Courts, by the plaintiffs, that the President is REQUIRED to ask CONGRESS to fire employees covered by the “exception”.
In other words, Roberts is shaping his opinion or more likely being “coached” in shaping his opinion NOW while following these cases.
Roberts is just like McConnell. He hates Trump.
Got to wonder if this is what James Carvile meant this morning when he said President Trump is about to crash and burn, with the Supreme Court being the Ace in the hole.

Roberts will hide behind precedent to cover the waffling.
Except that the precedent calls for the opposite of his ruling. There are supposedly 4 independent agencies, and the Court has ruled in 3 of them in favor of the Executive branch. So if he wants to maintain precedent, he will rule for President Trump and the Executive once this case gets back to the SCOTUS. There should be no exceptions. We don’t have exceptions for Congress making the laws.
That’s what logic and law say but not the logic of the Roberts Roulette Wheel Court.
Plus, precedents can be rewritten. He could decide to run back to Humphrey’s Executor and rewrite it.
This delay already runs against those precedents and the “plenary powers” ruling.
Actually, I just read that Roberts can even punt the entire case back to square 1 that starts before even getting to the DC Court. This ruling would be pure 100% Roberts … “requiring all proper processes and remedies”.
Roberts can cite the congressional legislation supporting the appointment of the Office Head of this Agency , which requires the President to PROVE via some process incompetence and malfeasance on the part of the Office Head … of course the Office Head will appeal and then sue again in the Dc Court.
This would be a good time to revisit the picture of the ear, perhaps matching the name on the flight log.
What happens now?
We may have a SCOTUS vacancy, right soon, if the Epstein files are released.

Many of the ills currently plaguing the nation emanated from here: lawfare (perkins-coie), election theft (mandatory vote by mail and dmv registration), Antifa, the covid scam(ground zero patient from this very county), and now the Resistance (to President Trump and anything he supports or even remotely likes). If he said tomorrow that kittens are good they’d probably demand all kittens be killed.

I think we’re on the DOJ’s radar, and I’m cautiously hopeful they’ll appoint a good US Attorney to this district and join with us in finally turning the tide here.
