What a difference one election can make. Secretary Kristi Noem announced a nationwide and international multimillion-dollar ad campaign warning illegal aliens to leave our country now or face deportation with the inability to return to the United States.
The international ads warn criminal illegal aliens not to come to America and break its laws or they will be hunted down and deported. This series of ads will run on radio, broadcast, and digital, in multiple countries and regions in various dialects.
Ads will be hyper-targeted, including through social media, text message and digital to reach illegal immigrants in the interior of the United States, as well as internationally. Here’s the domestic version to play in USA media:
“Thank you, President Donald J. Trump, for securing our border and putting America first. President Trump has a clear message: if you are here illegally, we will find you and deport you. You will never return. But if you leave now, you may have an opportunity to return and enjoy our freedom and live the American Dream,” said Secretary Kristi Noem. “If you are a criminal alien considering entering America illegally: Don’t even think about it. If you come here and break our laws, we will hunt you down. Criminals are not welcome in the United States.”

Kristi, with all due respect, ICE needs to increase its recent daily deportation numbers.
I read that the number of average daily ICE deportations has dropped to about 600 per day for the first two weeks of February. Simple math, that’s only about 219,000 ICE deportations for an entire year.
To be fair, that number does not include individuals who are self-deporting to have the opportunity to re-enter the US in the future, but I’m not holding my breath waiting for more “civic responsibility” from illegal migrants.
I know your task is difficult and complex, but the deportation numbers need to improve BIGLY. Wishing you all the best to achieve a better outcome and Trump’s vision of the “greatest deportation operation in history.”
They need to make it a felony offense for ANYONE to hire an illegal.
Only then will we get more people self deporting .

It IS illegal to hire an illegal immigrant. What they should do is arrest the CEO’s of companies like Tyson that publicly announced that they are firing thousands of Americans in order to hire twice as many illegal immigrants. If you recall, they also went after Tesla because they would not hire illegal aliens because it IS against the law.
A little update from rural America. It’s not the family farmers who are the problem. It’s the Big Ag operators. All across the country there are Factory Farms and animal slaughterhouses run by Big Ag. A friend in Barron County Wisconsin (it’s way up there) noticed the Somalis everywhere and was told to look the other way. Jennie-O turkey plant, owned by Hormel, somehow imported thousands of Somalis to work there. Drive through the country and see the horrible conditions at factory farms, animal slaughter facilities, and nearby you will find horrible living conditions in trailer parks and low income housing — filled with frightened immigrants. This is the problem.
Democrats just can’t let the slave thing go.

I ran the numbers, and you’re right for the most part. I came up with 216,000 at an average of 600 per day, not including those who self deport. But I do believe, and hopefully, that turning OFF the big spigot at the border and getting that secure makes a HUGE difference. I’m hopeful there will be a lot of self-deporting. In my opinion, we still have some farmers and businesses who want to (unethically) employ cheap labor using illegal aliens. I see this in my home state of Oregon. AND we have a horrible governor currently along with an unethical blue majority. I am keeping watch when I’m out and about however. Time will tell. Our nation’s wounds are deep and will take time to heal.

When they cancelled the money to that NYC hotel, why didn’t they just go in there and remove all of those illegals? Maybe they did, but I didn’t hear about it. Or, maybe there’s some kind of “rule” that I don’t know about that kept them from doing that.

It’s cheaper to self export. We live in an area of high illegals, my wife is an ESL teacher in our local school district. People are finishing up the school year and leaving, headed back to Mexico. I have seen less Hispanics at the DMV for license and registration. Just passing along my thoughts.

We need to cut off anyone who is not here legally from ANY type of benefits. No Medicaid, no food stamps, no EBT, and then the number of self deportations will automatically increase…

Bondi is trying to get sanctuary laws overturned. That should help a lot to then make it illegal for cities/states to fund illegals.
Illegals will stop applying for licenses and anything else that might put the finger on them. And with the freebees drying up they won’t have any reason to stay here.
Expect Team Trump to target financial centers to make it tougher for illegals to bank here and tougher to send money back to their country of origin. I’d also expect them to target employers with fines. Properly targeting birthright citizenship towards the children of lawful citizens will also be huge, and I don’t think it will be nearly as big a fight once it gets to SCOTUS. This ad campaign gives the deportations added teeth because she’s saying “if we catch you, you’ll never be granted citizenship in the future.” Take a DNA swab, and send them home.
Deportations are just one piece.
My big question is a legislative one, which is whether the GOP Congress will fund enforcement of these various efforts and strengthen the INA to make it crystal clear that children born here to illegals or visa holders are not US citizens.
Congress also needs to tie Federal funding to proof that the state is not allowing noncitizens to vote. So for example when Gavin Newsome signed that order barring poll workers from checking citizenship status last Fall, that would have come with a 50% reduction in Federal funding for the state.
Taking a DNA swab sounds like an excellent idea.
Cut off the money to these sanctuary States and cities and up the fee to 50% for wire transfers, unless you can prove you’re A) a US citizen and B) the money is being wired to someone you know directly. Also, if you’re caught, as an American citizen, wiring money on behalf of an illegal, you will be charged with aiding and abetting. Make it a felony crime.
There’s more to it than you realize. Start with airplanes. They have to be bought or leased, maintained, some entity has to be legal operator. Aircraft have to be brought into service and added to some operator’s Operating Certificate and it takes some doing to make it a safe operation. There are not a lot of capable aircraft and crews and maintenance operations just klying around idly waiting to be put to use. There must be pilots and flight attendants (for emergency exits & safety, not serving peanuts) and they all must be trained on that aircraft and that operation. Regular and non-routine maintenance must be performed somewhere — which means you need a hangar and crew and supplies and hard-to-get parts which need to be inventoried or your whole operation stops dead in its tracks when one critical part breaks.
Then there is security — need some support for the crews flying the not very happy passengers — in addition to coordinating with ground handling at both ends — to ensure safety of the aircraft and crew if nothing else.
There is a finite supply of operators who can contract with the US govt and I would not be surprised if the choke point of deportations has something to do with obtaining enough airplanes and crews. Remember it was a massive logistics exercise to get all those people here — and the US govt is not sending them back through the Darien Pass on the same freight trains that fed into it, or packing them in shipping containers and sending them back. (The military is great for some things, but massive logistics ops is reserved for massive troop movement – from what I know as a mere civilian. )
My guess is that someone in ICE is looking at what it takes to set up a flight department — internal or contract or liaison with some reserve or guard unit — to have reliable volume of safe air transport. Whoever has the thankless job, it is a major logistics nightmare, and a lot harder than it was to get them here.

The Biden administration purposely approved most coming over the border an immigration status of refugee or asylum seeker, just so they could be approved for Federal Cash, Food, Medicaid and housing assistance. They then went one step further by creating a new immigration status of “Victim of Trafficking” and made it retroactive back 24 months. They were not even required to declare that to the United States Citizenship Immigration Service (USCIS), they just needed to declare to their local welfare office that the intended to apply for that status. If you said you paid a coyote $1000 to get you in the country…you were considered a victim. This allowed illegals that came in under President Trumps last administration to be eligible for benefits as well. We need to go after all the NGOs that couch them and get everyone of them shut down. Lutheran Services and Catholic Community Services were two of the biggest traffickers in the country.

Should be time for some arrests by those aiding and abetting illegals to hide inside our borders such as AOC. Not only is she helping the cartels but those holding children and selling drugs. Not inside congress, she isn’t protected.
It ought to be pretty simple: “if you say that you have laws, but you don’t respect them and don’t vigorously enforce them, then you don’t have laws, nor the protections that laws give.” Law enforcement is a dangerous and unpleasant business, but unchecked criminality is even more so.
For the last four years especially, the USA has been reminded that “those who sow the wind shall reap the whirlwind.” It will take time to hunt down the criminals. But we must also hunt down the people who profited at their wretched expense. Many of those people were Americans, who knew exactly what they were doing and that it was against the law. They must be prosecuted.
“Crime prospers,” in very large measure, “because there is money in it.” But, realize that many of the illegal invaders are also very much victims themselves. Perhaps they came here as part of a clandestine military regiment. Or, perhaps they came out of utter desperation. Either way, they were exploited. They were discarded by their homeland.
We are actually doing the right thing for them, and for ourselves, to send them back where they belong and to demand that their home government deal with them properly and humanely.

I would not give them money as that would just put a target on these peoples back, making them ripe for robbery and worse.
In the long run, it would be a lot less expensive than the billions of dollars that is being spent for food, housing, and medical expenses, not only in sanctuary cities, but EVERY city in this country. It would be far less hazardous for ICE and everyone else involved in rounding up these immigrants and allow them to actually go after the criminals that are in our country.
