Karoline is amazing! I wasn’t sure I would like her when Trump picked her. BUT she is a keeper, very professional and really seems on top of stuff. Also, she seems eager to “improve” at her job, and “think outside the box”, like her boss does.
Maybe it is just me, but Sundances posts make me happy NOW! 🙂 For 4 years Sundance sharing his stuff felt like our country was being occupied by SATAN! (if you know what I mean).

She’s going to get even better as time goes on.
Just as a teacher has to take control of his/her classroom, Leavitt has taken control of the briefing room.
She is quick-witted, fast on her feet, and doesn’t slow down.
Didn’t hear any ‘ahs’ or ‘ums’ – and if there WERE any, I didn’t hear them, because her train of thought keeps roaring along… till it gets to its destination.
She quick-answers the ‘reporters’, not allowing their brains time to formulate a follow-up… and goes right onto the next question- terrific!
It’s like watching a fast-paced tennis or badminton match – she keeps moving.
She also has a pretty fair command of the incredible scope of issues that come up.
She comes pretty prepared.
Though, when talking about people going into aviation, her answer – while good – was a little less confident.
Obviously, she cannot be an expert on everything – (she’s still in her 20’s, right?) but as long as she can keep up her machine-gun pace – the ‘press’ will be stymied in trying to get in a ‘gotcha’ question.
Truth is – most of the reporter types in that room, are either:
writers (who may be ponderously slow in actually speaking and thinking aloud)
Or:
performers (who are real good at reading scripts, like the character Ted Baxter on the Mary Tyler Moore show… but cannot form a coherent thought in real time).
Her words – in fully-formed sentences – come out smoothly.
One little bit of constructive criticism:
You don’t want to stumble on names – she did have trouble getting Netanyahu’s name out.
Mis-pronouncing names will erode your credibility.
It’s a pretty simple fix – just practice ahead of time, any names/places that you’re not sure of.
Obviously an intelligent, verbally flexible speaker who believes in what she’s talking about… and THAT fact – she IS on DJT’s team – is what is going to make watching and listening to WH briefings a pleasure.
It doesn’t hurt that she’s very easy on the eyes- especially compared to her predecessor the nasty L-word, harridan with the binder. Karoline is a classic American beauty as well as being super smart. Another great pick for the Trump Administration.
And she can kick butt in nice way. “A press beating”.

From the very first one, these press briefings have been a joy to watch. Karoline is an exceptional young woman.
It also helps that the whole tone is different. Some of the old has-been propagandist media have had to make room for the NEW media, which the majority read/listen to.
It’s just so amazing. I’m hopeful that better human beings will succeed and profit, and seed a better course for the future.

She ran for congress in New Hampshire, did not get the position. Trump also picked two other excellent folk. Joe Kent, gold star husband of Shannon Mary Kent. He nominated him for director of National Counterterrorism. Joe ran for congress in state of Washington, did not get the position. Sean Parnell, Pa. ran for congress, also did not get the position. Trump chose him for lead spokesperson for the pentagon. President Trump has made some excellent choices here.

Kaweah, I noticed that too! The atmosphere in the press room is completely different now – much less rowdy and very respectful. I think part of that is that these reporters know that they are getting the truth instead of watching a dog and pony show that was shoving blatant lies down their throats. No one likes being lied to.
I think having conservative and alternate media in the room has made some of the usual crowd aware that they can be replaced.

I know Sundance will get it up but my GOD, how I love that man! He called for the girls to all come in close,( and not to sniff them!) and when he signed it, he first held it up so all the girls around and behind him could see,…THEN for the cameras. Small matter, but I’d like her to not use “crap.” I’d also like her to slow down.
She’s nervous so there’s some casualties with delivery along the way. As she becomes more seasoned, her performance will be much more refined.
She will get more seasoned with time… and get a better handle on any stage or performance fright… but I do hope she continues to go at a thoroughbred’s pace. It keeps the msm off-balance – most of them are incapable of being an effective press secretary.
Her directness, no- nonsense attitude, and ability to stay on message while giving good quotes, makes her a formidable opponent.

I just downloaded all of the federal purchase orders for POLITICO.
The more I look into this, the more disgustingly corrupt this starts to feel: – POs increased from $1.9M in 2020 (the final year of Trump) to $3.3M in 2021 (the first year of Biden).
What reason could there be to increase spending 73% in just one year? – POs have increased every year of the Biden administration, to a total of $6.3M in 2024.
You can’t tell me the government’s need for “the inside scoop on the public policy and players that matter most” (yes, that’s directly from the POLITICO Pro website) has more than tripled in just four years. (Side note: Why do federal agencies need to pay a for-profit company for information like this in the first place?
They literally have armies of full-time legislative aides, whose only “job” is to go around DC rubbing elbows with legislators and lobbyists.)
– Why did the Department of the Interior (light blue) go from $0 in 2020 to more than $1.1M in 2024?
– Why did the Department of Energy (orange) increase from $182k in 2020 to more than $1.1M in 2024? If you think about it, data subscriptions from a company with an affiliated media outlet are the perfect way to buy influence and spread propaganda:
– For POLITICO, the subscriptions are pure margin—there’s zero marginal cost associated with the marginal revenue; every extra dollar of revenue is a dollar right to the bottom line in profit.
– For the executive branch, there’s no need to do any work, monitor any contractors, or create any audit risk from work not getting delivered, since there literally is no work—all POLITICO has to do is provide access to a website.
I bet a sizable number of the accounts never even get used. It’s sketchy AF. The White House and DOGE needs to shut this down ASAP, audit all the contracts, and make sure this type of corruption never occurs again.
