I agree, however my or your distain for Rubio doesn’t mean he has no talent whatsoever. He told the press that his attempts as Senator to get any information from USAID about how much money was spent, who it went to, etc were never answered. The press had no come back for that and it was much different than their narrative about how much the money was being cut off from humanitarian groups.

The delay on Patel is fortuitous. The big cuts to the FBI can happen before he arrives. The agents he promised not to go after will be gone by the time he is confirmed.

I have LONG wished for safe food… not long enough as I managed to trash my health for decades without knowing why I was suffering so much. I have been over-weight and other things but nothing that seemed “out of the ordinary” to anyone which is a huge problem in and of itself. We have grown to accept being over-weight as normal and all of our common health issues as normal. THEY ARE NOT.
I have changed many things a lot more recently but there are so many things which need to be corrected. I want my sons to live happier, healthier and longer lives too.
The reasons for the unhealthy food include the low yield of organic agriculture.
Most cannot afford organic food, and if they could there isn’t enough for everyone.
The high level of processing and additives are part of making convenience food for the masses who don’t have time to cook because they are debt serfs hitched to full time jobs.
Women used to help the family by doing this food prep, but that mostly disappeared when they flooded into the workforce in the 1970’s.
