It will be a pleasure to watch Chuck Schumer and other crooks in Congress spending their ill-got fortunes defending themselves in legal cases brought against them over their corruption.
Democrats have spent years bankrupting patriots with lawfare. That sharp sword is now about to swing back in their direction with great force.
Even if they won’t be hanged for their treason, it will be satisfying to make them wish they were dead. They may ride in limousines today but they may find themselves hitchhiking before it’s over.

I may be wrong, but I would love to see the president call a big news conference wherein he would open with explaining what kinds of questionable programs and actions that have been found with regards to usaid. Pull up behind him. Just some samples from the data pertaining to members of Congress passing present members of the media passed and present who are on the boards of some of these ngos that are getting millions and millions of our dollars with no accountability or transparency.
Then I would like to see him play the clip of President zielinski in the Ukraine saying this weekend that even though the United States claimed to have sent him 177 billion, he is only showing 75 billion in those accounts and he is asking where the rest of that money went. So are we. So are we.
Then I would like to see him address with illustrations, why that he pardoned all the January 6th people and now is dismissing many of the prosecutors because of egregious actions on the part of those prosecutors, violation of those people’s civil rights all day long. Totally unprecedented behavior as far as charging, holding without charge, moving the prisoners over and over away from their attorneys etc. And he could have a packet ready to hand out to the press detailing some specific cases as examples.
I say this because as usual the media is doing a horrible job of explaining what’s going on and why just flat out lying and omitting important information that the public needs. It’s a travesty. And unfortunately, the only way that it could be countered is directly by the president himself in a news conference like that that would have to be broadcast live on the cable news. Based on what I’m seeing, that’s the only way he’s going to really get the truth out to the masses.

I was recently in the District of Columbia. Someone on the street approached me, asking me to sign a petition to end gun violence. She was with Amnesty International. I asked her what steps the organization was taking to lower the Chicago homicide rate or to promote gun safety training. She could not say. I should also have asked her if Amensty International was going to start a petition to end vehicular violence and start demanding car control. Let’s not forget 14 people were killed and 35 injured in the NOLA New Year’s Eve incident (and stopped by a firearm). Sadly, this type of thing seems to be becoming more common. It is my personal belief that teaching our children to respect life and to have self-control will go a long way to lessening violence issues. Evil will persist, though, as Satan is real. In any case, I parted ways with the Amnesty International employee, suggesting someone else might sign her petition.
I think Mr. Hogg has strongly held beliefs. They seem to be contrary to a civil society based on rule of law. He really might be better served moving to another country more closely aligned with his causes. Let’s think: What other country has no immigration enforcement? What other country has a volunteer-only police force? What other country cites organizations supporting the nation’s fundamental freedoms as terrorists? He will have mighty slim pickings, says me.

As a boomer who went to an art school in the ’70s, and worked in the arts and media for most of my career, I have a number of friends who are very liberal. We stay connected on facebook on family and life topics, but they know I am a conservative Christian who is pro-Trump, and generally, we have learned to avoid political discussions. I do see their political posts in my newsfeed, which helps me monitor what the “loyal opposition” is up to. I also have a few very liberal cousins, and am also connected to some millennials who are either church friends, or the adult children of some of my friends.

Not sure if it just started out as an environmental group, but it has become a “resistance” base for all these liberals to “expose” what they see as President Trump and Elon Musk’s radical govt takeover. On 2/5/25 at noon (this Wed.) they are doing a 50 States-50 Capitals protest — asking people to go to their state capitals “peacefully” for the purpose of “RESISTING Donald J. Trump and his sinister cabinet.”
During the election, we saw a lot of liberals finally GET how corrupt our govt had become, and cross over to vote for PT and fight to end the corruption and clean house. Sadly, this group is that stronghold that believes everything the mainstream media or Occupy Democrats tells them, and the TDS is strong with them. I am praying a) that as more corruption gets exposed, that they would finally see the truth of how they have been gaslighted. And b) that these protests stay peaceful, and do not get crazy, or become another Antifa/BLM burnfest or summer of love. Has anyone else noticed this new undercurrent on social media or elsewhere?

I agree, Winston. I kept saying, Why doesn’t OUR side use the Cloward-Piven strategy like the left does? Thankfully, Steve Bannon and Stephen Miller have been advocating that to President Trump, and it looks like it’s working.
At some point they will learn to focus on specific things but they will have to ORGANIZE better in order to accomplish that. It will likely be Playbook which will decide which singular thing needs focus. But there are so many disparate interests within the Democrat cloud that a truly coordinated effort will never effectively happen.

We’ve noticed it, but with a caveat. There are many who are outraged but who either lack focus or the ability to act. In part, this is because they lack the ability to think coherently–and so we’ve seen an uptick in posting angries–relatives, for example who threaten to block all users who support Trump–even going so far as to call those who support him ‘anti-Christian.’ I may be wrong, but I think the Resistance is on the downward side of the wheel. They are losing their certainty and becoming fractured and shrill. They are like children having a temper tantrum–when the tantrum fails to get a response, it dies out. I would hate to be wrong, but I rather think that is where we are at. It just feels different.

What Trump might be planning is to lay out the cost in manhours and resources spent in harassing Trump, and how those millions could have been used to prosecute kiddie porn cases, drug smugglers, terrorists, etc.
That’s possible but I’m not sure I’ll be happy with that. I think the responses to the questionnaire should be vetted for accuracy based on their known correspondence. If they lie or omit, they should be hauled in for questioning. They will attempt to evade just like all of the “former DEI” now “Executive” employees in government jobs.
DEI is discrimination and is specifically illegal for government and also against the law for companies under labor law.
They all need to see their days in court.

This is my view of most government employees. And I don’t just mean federal government employees. I mean ALL government employees. And this includes POLICE. I know, “sacred cow” and I recognize that a functioning law enforcement is a requirement to maintain civilization. But when I see cops killing people in situations where it is clear violations of the constitution and of due diligence? They all forget themselves FAR too easily.
And the psychology of this personality change among government employees has been well known through experiments for at least 50 years of repeated studies and demonstration. (we all know of the classic “prison guard simulation” experiment but others have also been conducted under different scenarios and the patters of government power over others leads to a consistent pattern of abuse)
We need to change the way government operates to act against these propensities. They are NATURAL propensities. They aren’t necessarily “evil” to start with. We, as a culture need to stop worshiping “heroes” and recognize human nature.
Some cops and other government officials manage to never allow themselves to fall into the moral decay trap. I don’t think it would be surprising to anyone here, the vast majority of those who never allow themselves to fall are PRACTICING CHRISTIANS. Christians are not immune, but I see Christianity as God’s way of helping humanity to be better than who they are “naturally.” And this 6000+ year old experiment seems to be fairly consistent in this regard.
I believe this is largely because in the heart of the Christian is an ongoing understanding of having to answer for our sins. People who do not recognize this will fall into the trap. Christians who fall to the allure of power will make excuses for themselves to allow them to fall into the trap as well. It’s just the way it is.
Whatever we might come up with, we need to recognize this essential human flaw and to find ways to remove the temptation to fall into the trap. I don’t really know what that should be. I think I’m only good enough to recognize the source of the problem and not the solution.
