The best way through this is to define viewpoints, not people, because people will shift as they change position and velocity in Trump gravity.
Bash the neocon, warmonger, and dopey globalist positions – not the people who are going to hold them one moment and come loose from them later.
Trump is Jupiter moving through the asteroid belt. He is going to pull people into his orbit.
A few will get slung off into space, but most will come along for the ride of their lives.
I am ON the Trump Train for good, even if I scream that I want off and can’t take it. In the end, I only want to scream “TOO MUCH WINNING!!!”

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough.
They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it.
You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.

Eagles are very powerful and photogenic. They make an impressive national symbol. They’re fierce, bold and very deadly. They’re smart. They’re excellent hunters and can tag team with the best of them.
But in real life I hate them with a passion. And the same is true with many people like me who raise sheep or chickens or who live in places where eagles routinely snatch up kitties and small dogs.
I once had one try and nearly succeed at ripping one of my cats right out of my arms. It came out of nowhere and I nearly fell down a hill avoiding its huge, outstretched talons. They missed my face by inches, and if they’d connected I’d have been scarred for life, that is if I’d even have had a face left.
And folks don’t even want to know what they do to lambs, so I won’t describe it here.
My point is, every time I read these sage words by Pat Buchanan I know there have never been truer words spoken, and that people need to take them very seriously.
Sundance’s advice about battered conservatives is well said and well taken.
Truth spoken, few ever experience. Flip side, to feel, hear the wind coming from under their wings, to hear their cry, no words, birds of prey always hold dear.
They’re truly impressive birds.
They are a proud and worthy symbol for a fierce America.

Wish the DC critters would start earning their paychecks and adopt a “no excuses” mentality. If not MAGA/MAHA needs to show up in force in the 2026 primary and general elections. Will we?

The new 25% tariffs are in addition to the regular tariffs. For example, Canadian softwood lumber 14.5% plus 25%. If Trudeau continues to run his mouth, and President Trump doubles the 25%, then there will be a 64.5% duty. Its a good thing we have lots of trees right here in the US.
These additional duties are not permitted “drawback”, which is a refund (99%) of duties on imports that are exported back to Canada or Mexico.
Also, President Trump is not permitting the normal duty waiver on shipments under $200 (see 19USC1321). These shipments are normally “sectioned off”, meaning no duty is collected because of their low value. Much of this activity is thru ECCFs such as Fedex, DHL, UPS. However, it is also thru the mail. Whoa, this is really going to slow things down! I wonder if our international post offices are ready for this?

Funny enough, it is also China’s problem too given the transshipment of goods from China involved with the finished goods both export to the U.S..

I think the President will need to take a different approach to this problem, and some of the reasons have been given by other posters below.
Another reason, I think, is the very vocal support he received from the muslim community in the Presidential election. It was pretty extraordinary, and think there may be things happening there behind the scenes that make it a still-growing community of support.
A lot of muslims supported the US in the middle east and still do, and many paid a big price for it. So I think it might require a different approach than the one being taken to deport criminal illegals at present.
I think that population contains more legitimate seekers of asylum and sanctuary than other populations, and might thereby provide more support from the community for weeding out the illegitimate immigrants among them.

Military helicopter pilot training requires hundreds of hours before graduation so a pilot with 450 hours really has half of that in the military pilot training program.

The number of a pilots flight hours in no way necessarily equate to the skill of the pilot. I have flown with pilots with thousands of flight hours who are far less skilled than a pilot with 500 hours or less. It depends on the individual pilot rather than the hours flown by the pilot.
There are airline captains who should have been gone long ago but are protected by the Pilots Union and not because they are necessarily qualified.
I have heard the horror stories of the 1st officer having to take over the controls from the Capitan with umpteen flying hours in order to prevent an inflight disaster. In fact, I have had to do it myself in the military flying game. The key is proficiency and not hours.

I am also questioning her rapid ascension to the rank of Captain. IF she entered the army after four years of college, age 22, she was able to move up 9-11 ranks in six years? She was 28 when she died as Captain. It usually takes at least a year to move up a rank, longer the higher you go. Did DEI help her out.
I have a good friend in the Navy. He entered right after high school graduation. He was able to earn a Masters Degree while still serving. He was a commander at several of our extremely prominent bases. It took him 25 years to make the rank of Captain and that was with the help of our US House Representatives of his home state. T, you’re mixing up services and ranks. A Navy/Coast Guard Captain, o-6, is equivalent to an Army/Air Force/Marine Colonel. An Army Captain, o-3, which she was, is equivalent to a Navy/Coast Guard Lieutenant. Being an o-3 having 6 years of service is reasonable.

Introduction
There is a sequence of outright lies and fabrications used to justify far-reaching policy decisions in the course of the last 20 months. The biggest lie, which is firmly acknowledged both by scientific opinion and the WHO is that the RT-PCR test used to “detect” the spread of the virus (as well as the variants) is not only flawed but TOTALLY INVALID.
From the outset in January 2020, all far-reaching policy decisions upheld and presented to the public as a “means to saving lives” were based on flawed and invalid RT-PCR case positives.
These invalid Covid-19 “estimates” have been used to justify confinement, social distancing, the face mask, the prohibition of social gatherings, cultural and sports events, the closure of economic activity, as well as the mRNA “vaccine” launched in November 2020.
The RT-PCR Test
The Real Time Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (rRT-PCR) test was adopted by the WHO on January 23, 2020 as a means to detecting the SARS-COV-2 virus, following the recommendations of a Virology research group (based at Charité University Hospital, Berlin), supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Exactly one year later on January 20th, 2021, the WHO retracts. They don’t say “We Made a Mistake”. The retraction is carefully formulated. (See original WHO document here as well as in Annex). While the WHO does not deny the validity of their misleading January 2020 guidelines, they nonetheless recommend “Re-testing” (which everybody knows is an impossibility).
The contentious issue pertains to the number of amplification threshold cycles (Ct). According to Pieter Borger, et al, the number of amplification cycles [should be] less than 35; preferably 25-30 cycles. In case of virus detection, >35 cycles only detects signals which do not correlate with infectious virus as determined by isolation in cell culture…(Critique of Drosten Study)
The World Health Organization (WHO) tacitly admits one year later that ALL PCR tests conducted at a 35 cycle amplification threshold (Ct) or higher are INVALID. But that is what they recommended in January 2020, in consultation with the virology team at Charité Hospital in Berlin.
If the test is conducted at a 35 Ct threshold or above (which was recommended by the WHO), genetic segments of the SARS-CoV-2 virus cannot be detected, which means that ALL the so-called confirmed “positive cases” tabulated in the course of the last 18 months are invalid.
That test was just part of the planned plandemic!!! It was used to scare the sheeple into getting vaccinated!!! When evil is put in charge of anything evil 💩 happens!!! JMO

Fauci and many doctors knew this, but used it anyway and never stated best/most accurate used was in the the 19-26 cycle range–Until Fauci complained 2 years into COVID about testing the already vaccinated and then stated they would not accept results above the 26 cycle range.
