Well, there is Pfizer’s 38 page PDF which was obtained through a FOIA request. They had wanted to keep the adverse side effects buried for 75 yrs! But the judge said no, start releasing it on a monthly basis. I don’t know if it’s been memory holed or not, I downloaded it just in case, and the last 8 pages of the 38 pages are all side effects. Reading the 8 pages I felt heartbroken, unbelievably furious, etc, etc. Dr. Naomi Wolfe & others went through each of them.

Three months after the U.S. Department of the Treasury sanctioned a Chinese mafia leader for fentanyl trafficking, he received an award in Beijing.
In March 2021, the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) Overseas United Working Committee recognized Wan Kuok Koi, also known as “Broken Tooth,” as a “patriotic businessman” and the “chief representative” of all international Hongmen associations. Hongmen is synonymous with triads, or Chinese transnational organized crime syndicates, to many Chinese.
The awarding entity is a CCP United Front organization and a platform under the China Association for Science and Technology. It also pushes China’s flagship infrastructure program, the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), worldwide. According to the Treasury Department notice, Mr. Wan has established a security company protecting BRI investments in Southeast Asia.

I tend to agree with one important caveat. fentanyl is especially a unique danger (grave danger! is there any other kind?)
all it takes it to touch this stuff on the skin and you are quite likely to be dead in a matter of hours, minutes.
it IS that powerful in raw form.
heroin cannot do this. cocaine can not do this. Pill form hydrocodone and other “recreational” euphoria drugs do not do this.
a completely innocent person or child can unwittingly come into contact with this chemical and it can cost them their lives.
while this is rare, it does happen.
also this: fentanyl is the drug of choice for cross tie walkers (illegal migrants). In miniscule amounts hard to detect and easy to carry, they can literally pay their way to “freedom” in the US by moving this contraband. Just once ounce of this pure stuff can be sold even at mule prices exceeding several thousands of dollars. So this is also the problem with this drug that goes beyond the simple drug “USER” debate.
I have had one death in my immediate nuclear family with opiates. That is all I will say on that personal matter. I spent a majority of my young energy doing front line drug interdiction…mostly cocaine and some heroin. This drug fentanyl is so much more dangerous and hard to eliminate.
anecdote to provide the kind of problem “we” face:
a group of people just got word that their friend just died from fentanyl …and they rush to his house before police and first responders arrive so they can get “the good stuff”…that is how pernicious this drug is. people will literally step over dead bodies to get high with it…even if it means tempting death.
the “high” it provides is so intoxicating there are even pot smokers who are now experimenting with doping their weed with the stuff.
I agree that people that use share the responsibility for their actions…but it is also a responsibility of a responsible society that we try even if in vain, to help prevent these people from killing themselves.
I think of it as a moral obligation. I am at a place where I can make a difference….will it save everyone..no…but the effort is worth it…because at the end of the day, I don’t want to have regret when the question is raised and I am judged:

The first thing I noticed when I turned into the press conference was hoe quiet it was. Generally, the reporters are yelling loud with their hands raised trying to get Karoline, or any previous Press Secretary, to pick them to ask a question. Today it was for the most part very quiet while Karoline picked individuals to ask questions. No yelling or screaming from five or six reporter at a time trying to get picked. Karoline apparently had laid down the law on such behavior. What a pleasant change that was!!
