Actually an unexpected visit like that while a hassle is safer than a planned visit somewhere. Also there is a lot of security already at casinos.

Massive tax cuts? How about eliminating all tax on social security benefits? Currently it is, in effect, double taxed. As for those still working, how about just eliminating all income taxes on income under say $150K?

I have the booklet the “county” reps gave to my dad in the early 1920s, when my he started farming after he finished his WW I service. It was still a new concept, so the explanations about how to count the stock (the pigs, the chickens, the cattle, the turkeys), the farm buildings, the furniture in the house, etc. are quite specific.
His handwritten farm records from the 1940s also include an occasional entry accounting for the fact that one of his beef cattle was found dead, and it would be entered as a loss (-$95) (that’s from memory–I think that was the figure)
They certainly were not eager to let farmers make a nickel more than necessary.

SSI is not taxed as income. I think you mean Social Security paid from OADSI fund.
