Karoline Leavitt begins today as White House Press Secretary; however, as she noted this morning we will not be hearing from her today because President Trump will be speaking again directly to the American people.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt joins ‘Fox & Friends’ to preview President Trump’s upcoming ‘big’ infrastructure announcement and discuss his executive actions after being sworn in. WATCH:
.

is this about the surveillance infrastructure?
Maybe, but I surmise it will concern our deteriorating roads and bridges.
President Trump Restructures the National Security Council and Removes IC Influence – The Last Refuge
Maybe the energy grids….
DEMS have frittered away over a trillion dollars throughout the years (Remember the criminal MAObama’s $800,000,000,000 for “shovel-ready” infrastructure projects, money which was quickly deposited into DEM pockets?) , while gas taxes have gone up and roads of all kinds have deteriorated.
Driving to Florida or to South Carolina from Ohio 4 or 5 times a year has allowed us to experience this deterioration first hand: e.g. Interstates in South Carolina and Georgia are some of the worst.
And then you have crumbling streets in the towns and cities.
So, a REAL infrastructure project without DEM corruption would be nice!
At least Democrat-run California now has high-speed rail–correction–massive fire damage.
Clearing the land for high speed rail.
I hope they were able to avoid the flames on their 1600′ train journey
yeah, “high-speed rail” from Bakersfield to somewhere else equally obscure

😜 I couldn’t resist !
Hi 🙋♀️ Nim 😊
Bakersfield to Merced. 2 armpits of Calif.
Couldn’t agree more about the roads in SC. I wonder if anyone works at the SC DOT. I never see any trucks on the road, and 95 sucks from highway 26 south to the GA line.
There are sections of I-20, I-26, and I-77 that need work in SC. There has been construction on 77 up in the Rock Hill area, but it seems to last forever.
Maybe my yet-to-be-born grandchildren will see it completed in their old age.
Some of the roadway is more like one long rumble strip.
I 40 fell off the mountain and down the river on the TN/NC border.
Hope President Trump send in the Army Corps of Engineers to rebuild every bridge and every road destroyed by Hurricane Helene! Until then:
Good job, men!
from my area
I’m sure he will. Until then, it will continue to be locals doing the work with neighbors.
The longer it takes – the more money they make in cost overruns. Turn it on it’s head and pay them a bonus for bringing it in quicker.
Omaha did that when it built its West Dodge Expressway. The company worked around the clock and finished ahead of schedule. That was seveal years ago, and the heavily-traveled expressway has generally held up very well.
SC yes! GA….not my experience on I-95. GA has more wealth than SC. Been like that for decades.
Part of the problem has been the very large movement of people from Blue to Red states. Where I live, the infrastructure is far behind catching up to the development spurred by these population shifts.
Both I-95 and I-75 get a lot of traffic and need work.
DOGE audit.
SC is a disgrace. RINOs only raise taxes but can’t fix anything.
Please get rid of Lindsey Graham.
I95 is a mess pretty much for the entirety of its length. However, the stretch of I75 in southern Georgia as it meets Florida is perhaps the finest highway there is.
We drive every year for the past six years between central Florida and San Diego. We experience the major differences between the two state administrations. DeSantis lines up 16,000 mobile trucks with man lifts and electrical line repair materials and equipment. He locates them where likely hurricane impact areas are. He’s on the news multiple times a day explaining what he and his team are doing and how citizens should prepare. We saw similar leadership with COVID-19. Rick Scott, his predecessor, showed similar leadership.
Gruesome Newsom prepares for political storms with special sessions to create a $50 million war chest to fight 47. Oh yeah, during COVID, he went to a “French Laundry” to press his blue jeans, get more hair gel, and enjoy a glass of wine with his unmasked friends.
Put the reflectors back on the interstate roadway in Georgia! It gets black in Georgia at night. Especially in the rain.
That is dangerous. Why were they removed?
Towns and cities need to finance their own infrastructure, unless it’s part of the interstate system or any federal highway.
That money is still being wasted each year since all they do is continue spending resolutions.
Fifteen years of waste.
Somebody stated, in a response to my question a few weeks ago about this Press Secretary’s character, the commenter said that the President’s Press Secretary worked for Kayleigh McEnany and is every bit as smart and tough.
I hope she is a repeat of Sarah Huckabee-Sanders and Kayleigh McEnany … rolled into one.
She is…absolutely. Not too long ago, as a teenager she ran for office and was defeated in New Hampshire. No surprise there. If I am not mistaken, before that she had attended Hal Shurtlef’s Camp Constitution in New Hampshire, so got a good start.
AND…. She is a graduate of Saint Anselm College — a terrific school (despite a few Moonbat professors) and home of the great New Hampshire Institute of Politics….. So she comes from great stock! (Though I admit to being biased)…..
I hope she is loyal to the cause and not a turncoat as the aforementioned.
I was in awe of Kayleigh’s talent. She took no sh^t from any of those presstitute hyenas!
Garbage-Man-In-Chief removes trash to begin rebuilding….
Big infrastructure changes = shutting down whole agencies?
Begin with the Dept. of Education and the EPA…and there are a few more than can be put to the sunset clause….
Of the fifteen Executive Departments, eliminate the following and all of their burdensome and costly regulations and return all powers to the states.
1. U.S. Department of Agriculture
2. U.S. Department of Commerce
3. U.S. Department of Education
4. U.S. Department of Energy
5. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
6. U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
7. U.S. Department of Labor
8. U.S. Department of the Interior
9. U.S. Department of Transportation
10. U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
Keep only these and move to flyover country:
1. U.S. Department of Defense (Energy, nuclear weapons)
2. U.S. Department of Homeland Security
3. U.S. Department of Justice
4. U.S. Department of State
5. U.S. Department of the Treasury
6. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
Coinciding with the repeal of the 17th amendment, so the States have some real power.
It’s a promise PDJT has been making for a long time: roads, bridges, etc.
Federal projects like these, btw, are one of the primary conduits of Federal money to the states. DoT moneys in particular have been used as a hammer at times to bend states to preferred Federal outcomes.
I was going to post DoTrans to distinguish that from Treasury, but thought that might not be interpreted correctly!
The only ones 1-10 I’d keep that you don’t are Transportation & Veterans Affairs. Granted, both need streamlining & a lot of deadwood removed, but they do provide SOME essential function. Veterans Affairs is needed, imo, to take care of those who put their lives on the line for the rest of us & I realize they’re bureaucracy- and red-tape topheavy, but if anyone can streamline it, Trump, Vivek & Musk can.
HUD should sell off every piece of property they have (and I don’t even care at what price; I’d even be OK with giving it all away) and let the new owners take over the taxes, insurance & upkeep.
Revised…
I’m picturing the reassignment of entire Federal bureaucracies to infrastructure project chain gangs all over the country, but then, I like to dream big.
No way we want people and craftsmen who produce quality work and take pride in their work, especially when infrastructure is involved. That rules out all the federal bureaucracies.
I do a lot of trail hiking around where I live. During the Great Depression the government created the Civilian Conservation Corps. It was staffed with real craftsmen. Some of the trail system around here were built by them. Every now and then I’ll find an old forgotten trail and it’s still navigable. There may be fallen trees on it but the trail can still be followed.
So yes, employ our craftsmen, they have a proven track record.
I walk on several of those trails myself. I agree with your comment.
I’ve hiked a number of those trails out West, and admired the beautiful and sturdy structues they built in harmony with the land.
My father worked with the CCC as a young man.
They worked longhard hours, far from their families, and took great pride in their work.
Hard times. Solid men.
Thanks for the reminder.
💯 Public works of Art, too. ☺

Just keep Pete Buttgiggles the h3ll away from any projects requiring real work.
Pepe Le Pew will get that cat kissed before you get Buttgig up against real work.
First priority for infrastructure should be all of the cities and regions hit by natural disasters in the last few years
Respectfully, we do not need FOX for news.
Respectfully, I don’t “need” FOX for news or anything else but I sure enjoy seeing this young lady pass along her knowledge and information that arise from her role as Donald Trump’s Press Secretary
Can someone more graphically inclined do a side by side of Karoline & KJ-P? One picture = 1,000 words!

We The People were exposed to so much that was not true with “circle back” and “fusilli hair”.
Can’t wait for the B!tch Slaps.
Perfect MJ. Thank you.
Still waiting for Rural HighSpeed internet at the tune of $43Billion which has never been installed.
0biden refused to grant Musk his $1Billion $ bid using StarLink. Maybe now
Not completely but that effort – Obama also pushed it – ran into some spectrum issues.
Spectrum is limited, often, in bands used by current technology.
Ton of money in spectrum – it’s how Sen Warner (VA) achieved his initial retirement “nest egg”.
That has been a money pit in Nebraska for, I think, a couple of decades now. Every year the Unicameral pours more cash into a never- completed endeavor. Somebody’s making out like a bandit.
We’ve had 1 gbps fiber optic internet for at least 2 years in my area of rural N Mississippi. The program emerged from the MS PSC and the systems are run by local electric power assns.
There is a lot of unspent money available to Trump.
I have a hunch you are on to something here 🙂
You are both sooo right!
Just one of the many side benefits of the new External Revenue Service. Eliminates yet another sink-hole for astronomical amounts of money gone “missing.”
It will be interesting if President Trump’s team actually uses the Rules written into the Budget and spending Authority Bills passed by Congress before 20 January 2025…to his advantage. The Irony will be overwhelming if Sock Puppet JoeBama’s pen and cell phone were not used to irrevocably COMMIT funds.
President Trump can use the Congressional Reprogramming instruction and rules written into those spending AUTHORIZATIONS to move money and deny money per his agenda.
Hopefully, this was part of the discussion President Trump had with Speaker Johnson before President Trump endorsed Mike Johnson for Speaker of the House.
The Uni-party will go nuts if this is the case. The president will reprogram outlays and spending authorizations using the sword they created for Sock Puppet JoeBama’s keepers.
The downside is the impact on National Debt and the President’s need to ensure these are investments and not more empty spending.
The CR only authorizes spending at last year’s level until 20 March. I don’t see that there’s any special reprogramming that can be done without getting permission from Congress.
Return it to taxpayers or use it to retire debt are not options?
Good questions … The answers to your questions are interesting.
The answer is YES and NO.
YES the money can be “used” as you suggest but NO … in that the only way to “return” money or “pay down debt” is to NOT commit (spend) it. There is NO CASH per say … just the existing AUTHORITY to spend the money and rules to divert the AUTHORIZED Spending to another task.
That is the reason I pointed out the downside to president Trump using the AUTHORITY to spend funds via reprogramming, it adds to the national debt and he needs to ensure it is a real investment for the future and not another boondoggle.
.
Everything is with him is real estate and business. I couldn’t help laughing out loud while watching the presser-with-EO-signing last night. E.g. Gaza is a great piece of real estate they really could do something great with it. E.g. TikTok needs to do a joint venture we could make a lot of money.
.
What a difference a day makes between KJP and Karoline Leavitt!
….24 little hours…..
The DC Gulag is slow walking the removal of the pardoned J6 demonstrators who are to be released from incarceration. This is unacceptable and the Trump people better start firing Gulag employees, today, until these J6ers are released. This is the most serious usurption of our civil liberties in US history. Not to mention that the treatment of these American citizens has been worse than it was for any of the terrorist foreign Guantanamo Bay prisoners.
These prisons have been like the ones described in Franz Kafka novels, only that was just fiction. This situation can not be resolved soon enough, and reparations for these people should be included. Time to fire all of our Banana Republic lawyers, Judges, and prison officials and replace them immediately!
Order Federal Marshalls and Troops if necessary … to “take custody” of the prisoners … then release them from “custody” … would be a nice solution.
If President Trump decides to deputize the citizens, this will be resolved in a big hurry…
Brian Kilmeade was not a happy camper during this interview; his true colors were on display. Suck it up Brian !!
Someone should tell him he looks and acts ridiculous.
I’m still startled (a bit) every time I hear her speak/respond to questions. Talk about moving from darkness to light….amazing and delightful.
I hope he defunds the california highest speed train to nowhere.
EXCELLENT! He learns from his mistakes.
Steve Bannon’s exit from the Trump White House, explained
What will — and won’t — change in a post-Bannon White House.
18 Aug 2017
https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2017/8/18/16145188/steve-bannon-fired-resigns
[snip]
Furthermore, Bannon has said he wants to turn the GOP toward economic nationalism — which he defines as tougher trade policies, increased infrastructure spending, and perhaps even tax hikes on the wealthy — as well. But he’s been much less successful on that front, as other advisers and interests have argued in favor of Republican status quo policies on economic issues, and have mainly won out in the Trump administration so far.
[snip]
Instead, Bannon’s infrastructure push was relegated to the bottom of the administration’s priority list. There hasn’t been a serious, substantive push on it all year.
[snip]
So the White House decided to sign on to GOP leaders’ preferred agenda of health reform first, then tax reform — an agenda that’s now in shambles.
————
From AI query: Steve Bannon’s departure from the White House was a result of a mutual agreement with Chief of Staff John Kelly, not directly due to Jared Kushner. However, tensions between Bannon and Kushner were significant and contributed to the overall dysfunction in the administration.
I read somewhere from someone who should know that Kushner will have ZERO influence this time. Also, EXCELLENT.
Jared Kushner
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jared_Kushner
Jared Kushner had been a lifelong Democrat prior to his father-in-law Donald Trump entering politics. He had donated over $10,000 to Democratic campaigns starting at the age of 11. In 2008, he donated to the campaign for Hillary Clinton and his newspaper the New York Observer endorsed Barack Obama over John McCain in the 2008 United States presidential election. After expressing disappointment with Obama, however, he registered as an independent in 2009 and endorsed Republican U.S. presidential nominee Mitt Romney in 2012 via the New York Observer. In 2014 he continued to donate to Democratic groups, but joined his father-in-law Donald Trump’s nascent US presidential campaign in the field of the Republican candidates in 2015. Kushner had no prior involvement in campaign politics or in government before Trump’s campaign.
Thank you so much for sharing this information. My exposure to Bannon is relatively recent, but I’ve learned a great and find him inspiring on many levels.
Based on my exposure. I’ve had trouble squaring my opinion with the idea that President Trump fired him. This background makes a lot more sense to me.
John Kelly is one nasty piece of work who spent all his time sabotaging Trump from his job as Chief and then inventing rumors about Trump after he got fired. He didn’t get a preemptive pardon from Biden either.
Oh Great more spending for the Federal government.
Our local States are responsible for local infrastructure.
Infrastructure bills are spending scams for politicians to pocket. Congress has spent trillions and billions of stolen tax dollars on these types of bills.
We need to slash spending because we the people are broke. This country is in MASSIVE debt and we have MASSIVE inflation.
You do know that PDJT can take money from worthless DEI projects and use them for MAGA projects?
You do know that he has a plan to make America wealthy again by charging foreign nations/businesses tariffs in order to do business with the USA?
You do know that he is not stupid and is going to run our government like he does his businesses?
One of his mottos in On Time and Under Budget, right?
Your talking points sound like they came from “Limited Government” Paulie Ryan.
Yep. I’m sure the dirty Marxist Dem governors are going to spend it wisely.
I guess you want big government? Paul Ryan is for big goverment. He’s a full Democrat POS.
Do you really think the uniparty in Congress are going to make any cuts?
Ha ha ha.
Yes, I do.
Because people have a way of rising to the occasion and becoming aware of their own shortcomings in the presence of someone who, in the court of their own conscience they have finally admitted is a far better person than they are, and make a conscious choice to change their ways.
This usually only occurs without said superior person, aka, a natural born leader, hitting them over the head with a mallet, but by continuing to believe in others and be true to his own undeniable inner light.
With apologies for the wordiness.
As Tucker said, “A leader is the bravest man.”
Or better yet, how about that T shirt: “The beatings will continue until morale improves.” ✴
What a breath of fresh air to have Leavitt as press secretary!
😳 Hoping this is fake News:
Well. It’s a new day. The Fox team reaction was subdued not because they don’t support her, but because they were trying to grasp and process every word she said considering she is a very fast thinker and speaker!!
Legacy media won’t be able to keep up!!
@Edink… revised

Hopefully bridges and road improvements are in this. Maybe 47-Admin will finally address broadband’s last mile within infrastructure as well. It’s just been talked about now for over ten years. The ISP’s just are not getting it done. If Trump wants to mive some of the DC bureaucracy out of DC, then the “Last Mile of Broadband” has to be addressed.
Free Star link would be appreciated since we allowing Elon to barf up space junk all over our country.
What an absolute breath of fresh air in a Press Secretary! Who needs an indexed ring binder when you have it all memorized and can bring it up flawlessly no matter the question! Karoline is just an example of what happens when hiring is done based on meritocracy. Of course it doesn’t hurt to be beautiful or handsome too…
Look who KJP had to work with.
It’s a pipeline
The Ventures. Surfing now.
President Thump has made clear how the fossil fuels beneath our feet are liquid gold which can lower inflation and rejuvenate our industries.
My guess is this will have to do with an increasing in fuel export capacity and/or refiner capacity.
Next thing you know Trump will be operating road graders, cement trucks. Cranes and readings blue print and site maps:
There is lots of money available to improve all of USA infrastructure. Pause foreign aid for 12 months and spend on USA infrastructure and deportations…bill
Wow! She is already an incredible asset, both to President Trump, and to our country.
Karoline is beautiful. What an upgrade from Latrine Jean Pierre!
https://www.rsbnetwork.com/shows/live-president-donald-j-trump-holds-first-press-briefing-since-inauguration-1-21-25/
What a joy it is to see a Press Secretary who is intelligent, articulate, and who is not a bit confused or apologetic about her sex/gender. In other words, she is not mentally ill.
Pray for Karoline Levitt. The rabid leftist media functionaries hate beauty and intelligence. They will show no mercy in their attacks.
Liking this Leavitt gal as press secretary, for sure.
And we are NOT in “Trump time” as hardas that was to gst used to.
We are in TURBO-Tdump time, or hyper Trump time.
Isn’t there something in Einstien, about a big enough gravitafional pull effecting time?
PDJT is like a black hole, and as he has grown exponentially during his four years out of office, it makes sense that his effe t on distoring timeis that much greater.
Peter Alexander is a complete ASSHOLE. I sincerely hope that the Trump adm NEVER takes another question from him. He showed the most disrespect today, screaming, screwing up his face, talking over the President. Boot his butt out
Nice to have a well spoken Press Sec. back at the pedestal.
…And not have to circle back.
I have lost track. Did Biden pardon Merrick Garland and Chris Wray?
