There is nothing reconcilable about American Liberty when contrast with a looming surveillance state. There is no facet of American values, the essential core of what we define as Americanism, that can exist without true liberty.
While the Declaration of Independence is long regarded as the greatest written declaration of purpose, the latter created Bill of Rights, the first Ten original amendments to the U.S. Constitution, is just as important. The first declared our intent; the second defined how our founders intended to retain the intent during our collective assembly. Together they outline what set the course to make America great.
We have allowed the foundational intent of both sets of documents to be compromised, because, well, simply we were lazy and complacent. Now we are engaged in a time of great consequence that will determine whether or not the purpose of our assembly can continue.
We are, in factual reality, now deep inside a debate carried out in the world of politics. The stakes have never been higher.
In nine days, President Donald J Trump is scheduled to be sworn in as President of the United States. In my non-pretending world, this is likely to be the last time in our lifetime to drag the conversation of how we define liberty into the American psyche. All of my research in the past two decades indicates this likelihood is not hyperbole. We have one shot at this, and our time is now.
Liberty, the fundamental decision to retain it or lose it, is the context for all other contexts that have preceded it. The principles of liberty that we have defined for generations cannot exist in an American surveillance state. Thus, the secretive courts, the unlawful usurpation of the 4th Amendment, the short-sighted ramifications of the Patriot Act, the weaponization of our federal law enforcement and police agencies, all of it, must be reviewed through this fundamental core issue, Liberty.
I have traveled throughout the East and West to gain perspective on what makes us different, and what I can assert with clarity is that if we lose the Liberty argument, then the ideological representatives behind Barack Obama will have succeeded, the fundamental transformation will be irreversible.
This frames the cornerstone of my viewpoints on all of the characters in politics. It is not a matter of debate that on these core issues of Liberty and the stopping of the Surveillance State, everything else is a downstream consequence. The tiered system of constitutional protections for particular categories of personage must be rebuked. On this matter there cannot be compromise, because every outcome that impedes our way of life is a derivative of this value.
I will oppose all interests who refuse to confront the Surveillance State. I will draw bold attention to those who are willingly creating it, and I promise you I will call out every operational interest that is willfully blind to its creation.

We were not asked and never voted for the thousands of cameras that seem to appear overnight on traffic lights, highway poles, Bridges, stores, Churches, Schools, Parks, Hospitals, etc.
We were not asked or ever voted to allow thousands of satellites, to dot the the celestial atmosphere over our heads and homes for I cloud storage of metadata to create files and algorithms on every single breathing human.
No one asked us or ever gave us to vote on reordering all the highway exit numbers to coincide with the mile markers, so that surveillance from on high would be more accurate.

I can’t rightly tell exactly what year our real liberty died but it did and we have to wake up from our sleep walking.

Our constitution protected us from this. But we have no men of firm conviction with the courage and the righteousness from GOD to right the wrong.

As a historian I have asked the same question – when did our republic fall? My estimation is our imagination it still exists but in reality the War Between the States was our Republic’s demise. My hope and prayer is that my generation (b. 1951) can pass on to the succeeding generations belief in our Founding Fathers who provided the principles and means to retain ordered liberty. Without personal freedom the ability to lead a full and Godly life is much more difficult if not impossible. The forces of Satan have martialed their powers to snuff out God’s children.
Our generation owes it those behind us to help in every way possible to destroy Satan’s minions and restore our Republic.

3. The failure of the Republican Party to stamp out the Pro Slavery/Pro Jim Crow Party in the subsequent decades
4. Rise of “Progressivism,” which infected both political parties forever (Woodrow Wilson and T. Roosevelt)
5. FDR and the Depression, which expanded government power beyond anything previously seen (and never rolled back by the GOP)
6. WW2 and the creation of the Deep State, the military industrial complex, a “rules based global order,” and the seeds of all disaster today

8. 9/11, the Bush family, the Cheney family, the Patriot Act, Obama, and the weaponization of the surveillance state

I worked for the company for years. Sears was an incredibly well run company up until the CEO was ousted in favor of the hedge fund tool, Eddie Lampert who bought KMart on its downward trajectory and merged it into a new company Sears Holdings LLC. He mismanaged it literally to death, then tried to profit in bankruptcy court by not paying unsecured lien holders their due.
Husband very early in his life worked at Sears in accounting. He often says similar and that if Sears had been FORWARD thinking, they could have been an amazon. So the concept of progress in relation to computing can be bitter sweet.

I am here on the Plateau as well, Scott. I wish there was a way to get together, but alas, we on this site, and the branches of CTH must be restricted of freedoms we deserve, because the enemy lurks and could single us out, and retaliate.
I am planning my remaining 0-30 years, depending on the grace of God. My children’s minds have been poisoned and they are now men in various stages of disorientation from the fundamental freedoms and basic American Civics.
Though we homeschooled, I chose a profession that I knew was hard, but I was not prepared, had no idea that I was slowly being enslaved. My children did not get the full attention that I hoped to give them as a father. It was stolen from me and from them, and I was not aware enough.
I thought a physician would be a the top tier of control and economic earning power. My interest was to use the skill of medicine and the position in peoples lives to facilitate change — introduce the principles of our Creator, be an encouraging light. I thought if I was a good person centered loving physician, then influence and economic security would come automatically. Today I believe physicians are not only being enslaved like no other profession — they are being eliminated and replaced with a new breed of physicians and practitioners trained to stay in their restricted silos, put their signatures where their handlers can make the most profit, and have no conscience or even awareness of the degree of suffering or maleficent lack of care that is delivered.
To get back on topic: All professions with breadth, and capacity to make a great difference in communities and this nation are being cut up into ineffective, manageable silos. In medicine, not only are there 4 Trillion of the US GDP at stake, but a literal treasure trove of intimate health care data that his being cut and packaged like opium and fentanyl.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I have gotten to know some fine individual doctors through AAPS – the American Academy of Physicians and Surgeons. They struggle with the same issues that you describe. I read your words with dread – I am struggling to find a way to educate my young ones and I am terrified of failing. I am an older parent (widowed early) and I watched so many good people amongst my hard working, responsible colleagues, live one horror story after another as their children were turned against them It’s hard to think of anything worse.

Oldest son practices medicine as does his wife in a large Texas city. They are very busy with their practice but are very dedicated to the lives of their children. They’re in church on Sunday. Active in sports and competition. The 13 year old has a cell with limited time, no social media, and no games. She is a huge Trump supporter. They are very aware of the problems kids face today. Their faith in God’s principles & love of their kids is the driving force. Gods grace is a beautiful thing.

I’m in central Oregon. My primary physician is in his middle 30s, trained/born in Alabama, and he shares your perspective. I began to sense something about his thoughts last summer and had a plain-spoken conversation with him about it. I’m 80 and ever so grateful that, in the midst of The Medical Machine, it is my blessing to have such a PCP. As we talked, he took my perspectives, reports, and support as given, and I told him, “Keep standing in your place, fight the good fight as long as possible….”
Quietly and plainly, he spoke about what has already happened and how it will continue to play out, concluding with this statement, “I think that within ten years there will be no such thing as a family physician or a personal physician. Patients will be evaluated, diagnosed, and treated on metrics alone.”
I’ve been posting stuff previously not allowed over there too, just to see if those checkers really are gone. The thing is, I can see the posts on my page when looking for them but so far no “likes” or comments so not yet sure if anyone else can see them.
Like those blue check marks on X, when Musk changed the algorithm recently, I used to see other people I follow who also do not have those blue check marks, now I have to go looking to find them, so if someone didn’t know better they would think only blue-checked people are making posts and comments, when the reality is very different.
Tech bois like to play with our minds, there’s a sense of power that some folk get a high on when they think they control other peoples minds, a nasty narcissistic tendency that seems to be a requirement these days to run tech companies; gives them the misleading idea they are the ones actually ruling the world. We can begin by repealing the Patriot Act – which magically appeared in its thousand-page glory after the highly suspicious acts of “9/11.” (No one can write that fast.) It was obviously already written and just needed an excuse to deploy it. As usual, the Congressmen who voted for it out of fear probably did not read it. But, people like Barak Obama did know exactly what it was really about.
We are also wasting money and resources by “collecting data” without any reasonable means to process it. When something really bad happens, first of all it happens. Then, the responsible departments quickly say that “they were tracking that person for some time.” But that simply means that, once they knew what they were looking for, they could go into their databases and find a few plausible “hits.” That does not mean that “all that data” enabled them to interdict the crime before it happened.
Funny thing about “data”: you can drown in it and achieve nothing.

In the beginning, the masters of the trade were the ones that gave the privilege both to learn and then to practice: Masons, Builders, physicians, priests, warriors, martial artists. Others could try to fill the function, but they would not have the training, and in a free market, the customers could tell the difference.
We have basic needs: food and shelter: We can build our own house and raise our food. We can learn to do other skills as needed.
To learn a trade you learn best as an apprentice on the shoulders of masters.
We have relegated the licensing to the government, we have relegated the certification to the government, we have relegated education from preschool to college, to post doctorate, and including trade school — to the government. Say what you like about whether Gen. Flynn was naive in meeting with the two plotting FBI agents, his compass has always pointed true North on Liberty, and his understanding of the moment we are in is, and has been, equal in all ways to Sundance’s clarity here.

I sold it, and after a careful search, found a 2002 TrailBlazer, with no electronics other than the chip that beeps when you leave the key in the ignition and open the door, and the fuel injection computer. EVERYthing else on this 2002 is repairable with a spanner; no PC needed.
The day is coming when vehicles like this will be rounded up and crushed, ostensibly due to their gas mileage and tailpipe emissions, but really because they CANNOT be made to CONFORM and REPORT my whereabouts to the government. You may want to find an older pickup or SUV yourself while you still can.

Standing in line at a convenience store & I observed the 4 people in front of me (all ages) one by one, dutifully tap their phones to checkout. It was at that moment I realized… we are so screwed!
From my business perspective and from asking customers who are paying cash, there are people that are intentionally using cash more because of the threat of CBDC.
Historically the split has been climbing from 60/40 when I started in 2011 to currently 80/20 as to the digital/cash split.
It is going a bit backwards now to 75/25.
The problem as I see it is the $$$ that I am hit with to accept plastic/nfc (phone/watch), any of the promised savings business was promised vanished into thin air and that specifically was that DEBIT transactions were supposed to cost about 25 CENTS but to this day it is still a percentage of the transaction + a swipe fee … that NEVER happened. (1.50 on average transaction for me more w/o card present + 1.00 or so)

We knew absolutely that masks did nothing. Small children were harmed. We lost the freedom to breathe freely.

If the gov’t is so insistent that we all live in metaphorical glass houses, we need to bring the argument that transparency works both ways. There should be zero carve-outs for protected classes of people, and there should be 100% transparency related to government documents. No more National Security exemptions to FOIA requests, no more “sources and methods” exemptions. If what they are doing is legal, it should stand the scrutiny of the people.
