It’s strange; it’s just strange. According to the Washington Post (Bezos) and New York Post (Murdoch), President Trump’s incoming chief of staff, Susie Wiles is reminding all of the Trump nominees not to post anything on social media.
Why?
No, seriously; why the reminder?
According to information relayed by a ‘source’ inside the transition team, this warning is not connected to the recent blowup controversy over immigration and H1B visas. So why the reminder?
As reported, the warning from Wiles does not apply to the DOGE team, Ramaswamy and/or Elon Musk, or to any of the Czars (David Sacks) and appointees who do not need Senate confirmation. The warning only applies to those who are going through the confirmation process. But again, the timing… why?
The nominees Wiles notes in her admonishment, have not been posting on social media. So, what triggered the reminder that says, “no member of the incoming administration or Transition speaks for the United States or the President-elect himself.” It’s odd. The only issue that has erupted where that concern would be applicable are the issues around immigration and H1B visas. Yet the source on the transition team says Wiles was not speaking about that issue.
I consider myself a person with attune Spidey senses. Pretending just doesn’t work for me. When the principal officer says, “no member of the incoming administration or transition speaks for POTUS”, and then an anonymous transition person quickly says Wiles is not talking about team DOGE, my suspicions are that Wiles’s reminder was triggered specifically because of the dangerous controversy, and the anonymous transition team member is obfuscating the reason behind the warning.
In essence, I suspect the warning really is about what the Occam’s Razor indicates it would be about. As always, I could be wrong; but I’d be willing to wager on this one.
NY Post – President-elect Donald Trump’s chief of staff Susie Wiles sent a message Sunday ordering nominees to refrain from any posting on social media as Senate confirmation hearings are scheduled to start next week.
“While this instruction has been delivered previously, I am reiterating that no member of the incoming administration or Transition speaks for the United States or the President-elect himself,” Wiles wrote in a memo obtained by The Post.
“Accordingly, all intended nominees should refrain from any public social media posts without prior approval of the incoming White House counsel,” she said in the Dec. 29 missive.
The first-ever female chief of staff, nicknamed the “Ice Maiden,” also noted that she appreciates “how enthusiastic everyone is” about joining the second Trump term in her otherwise frank directive.
[…] The Wiles memo, according to a Trump transition source, is not in response to the recent social media ruckus caused by Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) chairs Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy over H-1B visas that had MAGA world spinning.
DOGE is not an official entity, despite its name, and does not need Senate confirmation, meaning the tech moguls are free to convey their opinions online. (read more)
For many, this immigration/H1B issue is critical.
I completely understand and support their concern for many reasons.
Elon Musk (et al) has made himself a wedge.
If you do not support Musk, you are anti-MAGA.
What’s missing in this new definition of MAGA? President Donald J Trump.
Maybe Wiles can see it also.
The gaslighting, the demand to ignore what you witness with your own eyes, is stunning. Yet the shouts are very familiar in abusive relationships.

My opinion. Although the left has been calling Elon Musk the President, I highly doubt that he’s a wedge between MAGA, or Trump. Everyone ,(MAGA), attacked Elon and Vivek. Trump came out of it unscathed. People have been asking Trump to get rid of these 2 including myself. Elon and Vivek are H-1B whores and most likely took part in having American workers train their Indian counter parts in before they were laid off from their Tech jobs. I read so many accounts of Engineers being taken advantage of by the H-1B Visa’s. Now that it’s in the spotlight, MAGA and American citizens can see the story unfold in front of them and be glad/proud that President Trump is taking action to protect American jobs.
Trump is standing by Elon and Vivek.. How is he protecting American jobs here?
IMO Sacks needs to go as well, because he tried to gaslight us with his “anybody talking about what I’m doing is falling for a psy op meant to divide MAGA, and he’s still teling us to move ahead as one, when we never were one with him to begin with.
He’s basically telling us to get in line and shut up, and that pick for his assistant was pro-censorship, and all of them are LYING about H1B.
President Trump already has swallowed the foreign student/ green card criminal racket scam hook, line, and sinker, but “this isn’t the time to talk about it”?
The more I learn about just how astoundingly bad this mostly Indian criminal enterprise really is, the more I am utterly disgusted that anyone in government hasn’t stood up and yelled “Enough!”, and also I am pretty fed up with President Trump and this absurd gamesmanship or whatever it us.
Anybody who isn’t against this by now is in on it, and the DOGE crew and Sacks called us haters.
It appears the Indian problem is already in Australia. They have Indians manning Call Centre whose English is very difficult to understand. They speak English like a machine gun. I ask them to speak slower.
Drives me nuts as well. You call about a simple issue and the word salad you have to endure. Takes twice as long on the phone as needed to resolve a simple issue. AT@T Mastercard anyone.
I tell them straight off the bat I am not interested in swapping pleasantries, just service. These companies have no clue how annoying these people are. Don’t get me started on the Asian women.
They are reading a script reciting the lines they have been taught. Annoying as hell done to psychologically disarm us before we start screaming at them.
I presume it works most of the time…
It leaves me feeling helpless, hopeless and frustrated as hell most of the time-sometimes they are quite pleasant and actually do something-rare tho.
ugggggggg
Did you see this? https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/india-its-worse-you-think
A remarkable article. Thanks for the link.
Wow that is scary as heck…good article.
Agreed 100%. I knew about this program as I was in tech but thought it was for engineering geniuses out of MIT or Harvard not some Indian with a fake Indian degree brought in to replace the 50 year old run of the mill tech worker who’s only sin is he’s been with the company for 25 years and is now making too much money for the bottom-liners.
I’ve been with maga for 9 years now and this is the first time I’ve been this disappointed w Trump himself. He’s usually the alpha dog and put his hanger ons in their place if they insult his followers. Here, it seems Elon is the alpha and Trump is just being transactional. I mean really Mr President, you’re going to just ignore that Elon called your supporters “subtards” and “contemptible fools” while telling them to “f themselves in the face?” Sad.
Focus. This is not the fight. Mass deportations are the fight.
It’s like people have ADHD or something.
Look! A squirrel!
Thank you
It IS the fight.
.
Yup. Folks need to remember that when the right brain gets emotional, it interferes with the left brain.
The “look a squirrel” phrase sums it perfectly. Stop it, people! The H1B visa and related issues are not currently on any table.
This come up not infrequently in litigation. Client gets flipped out over some tangential issue, or issue that can be handled later (never mind that it’s a righteous issue) and because of that can’t focus on the priorities at hand. Time, money, and strategy can all be waylaid and make a mess of the case.
The times when you need someone’s cooperation are not the times to start confronting them on something that can be dealt with later — OR giving them a headsup that instead of “considering” their position on some future thing you know they’re hoping for, you’ve already decided that you will be telling them to gth.
.
Exactly. Musk has repeatedly said that illegal immigration is a existential national security threat. We need his megaphone focused solely and squarely on that issue, as does PDJT.
Cracks me up listening to people caterwaul about H1B visas which largely affect Leftist workers in the tech industry in places like Silicon Valley and Seattle. Does it need to be eliminated? Absolutely, but let’s not pretend this is as important or impactful or beneficial to average Americans as the mass deportation of 10,000,000+ illegals next year.
Stay on target!
We. Can. Multitask.
you are a disttraction guy
you also support proud “boys”?
Next year. Next year is not right now, is it?
Largely affects leftists? What? Not every tech worker works in Silicon Valley.
Trump promised in 2016 to eliminate H1B visa the first week in office, in 2020 he was then saying Americans couldn’t do IT on Igraham’s show, now he lets these comments stand by these two ingrate billionaires? Musk is a welfare subsidy queen who likes H1B visa because they will sleep on his factory floor and tell him he’s awesome all the time. The pushback on X showed he’s not used to anyone questioning him.
Vivek pumped and dumped a drug that failed and made his money.
Neither is a good role model, and both have given up on their own countries.
You just made my point. Stay in target. Mass deportations of illegals.
The deportation issue isn’t on any table and can be dealt with later.
The issue of the MAJOR FRAUD being discovered in the H1B AND student visa areas, is urgent, as we had two people working closely with the president telling LIES in support of increased use of these fraudulent visas.
He has new appointees trying to push this through, and favoring censorship as well.
This is of major importance to millions of Americans. People are still losing jobs or not getting hired due to the gigantic international racketeering.
If you don’t care, fine, but it matters very, very much what our next president is going too do about this.
American jobs and no more wars are why Trump won, his continued silence on this is extremely disturbing. Both Musk and Vivek, esp Musk, are seen as major voices for him, and him not saying anything about the disgusting comments by both is alarming.
Vivek needs to write a critique of the horrific Indian culture and how it operates. He’s a fraud and I think both of these ingrates need to be investigated for H1B abuse, as they know it’s not talent.
.
He has no “appointees” at this time. Only announced nominees.
When you need cooperation from someone who is hoping that you will do something in the future that they want in return for their cooperation, you tell them that you will be considering it. You don’t tell them that your “consideration” will end up with them not getting everything they wanted, let alone absolutely not and they can gth.
Why is this so hard for you and so many here to understand?
.
President Trump will do right by us
Not hard to understand at all
Agree….this is a deliberate distraction, not all H1b visas are engineers, folks.
Talk to Musk and Vivek then. They caused it.
22 states have now arrested tDA gang members whom have killed, raped, sex trafficked, dealt in drugs and we focus on how many skilled workers are going to be allowed to work for cheap. This is an unnecessary distraction for President Trump by petty morons whom want attention. Shame on all of them. Act like adults and DISCUSS refining laws with regard to VISAs once President Trump is in office and has made our country safer.
So, we are only adults when discussion is about your preferred subject? One of the hallmarks of adulthood is the ability to multitask.
We focus on both.
Don’t tell me what to think, what to focus on, or try to shame me.
Just who do you think you are?
“Don’t talk about that, talk about this”.
I’m not telling you what to think. I’m telling to not to get
SQUIRREL!!!
This is the time. Trump has already said they will be deported, and Homan is working on the plan.
These two ingrate billionaires are worming their way in, and now is when policy is being set.
Now, is the time to have this discussion.
The petty morons who started this you’re talking about are Musk and Vivek. Direct your ire in the right direction.
Trump’s right-hand man, who is constantly at Mar a Lago, told his base who wants jobs to remain American to “f themselves in the face”. You see that being walked backed with an apology?
That would end it.
Thank you but we are capable of having two – or even more – thoughts in our brains – mass deportations of those who walked in AND those brought in on the H1B rafts.
.
When you need cooperation from someone who is hoping that you will do something in the future that they want in return for their cooperation, you tell them that you will be considering it. You don’t tell them that your “consideration” will end up with them not getting everything they wanted, let alone absolutely not and they can gth.
.
this a fricking war!
every battle counts.
unless you are THEM.
seems you are
Oh spare me. I gotta listen to a bunch of numskulls get distracted like a dog chasing a squirrel.
This is the fight. Ok, we won’t be replaced by illegal immigration, just legal, right? This is hundreds of thousands of American jobs, not just 85k, and is a pipeline to greencards and citizenship via chain migration.
Trump either weighs in and says himself, telling MAGA people who think the H1B program should be abolished are too “r*tarded” to work in IT (Musk liked that tweet), and can “f themselves in the face” if they don’t like H1B, and are “contemptible fools” who should be removed from the party “root and branch” is wrong, and these two will be issuing abject apologies to his Base or he’s lost a lot of his base. These visas for used for ACCOUNTING jobs, etc., they will come for every job.
This is the issue for me, and with the warmongers he’s hiring too, that makes the two issues I voted for him.
Stay on target. You’re getting distracted.
He’s not standing by them. He’s standing over them. Based on his experiences from his first administration don’t think for one second he’s not in a command and control mode regarding the operational parameters and desired outcomes of the MAGA objectives. As such, DJT will bring them to heal. Remember Elon, et al, have been previously operating in a like mode for decades. Their outburst was based on previous experience and DJT will enlighten them with respect to the MAGA nuances that will dramatically awaken the US economy that will make theirs and numerous other businesses more profitable.
If he was going to do that he would’ve done so.
A memo from his campaign manager that doesn’t even cover these two, is not pushing back. Trump needs to weigh in specifically, and what’s he said so far is concerning; “I like the program”.
Musk needs to apologize, and Vivek needs to go learn what the Indian culture is really like, as he obviously doesn’t know it. Maybe since he’s high caste he doesn’t care, but the culture has serious issues. Vivek lecturing Americans about our culture, while his country is a dumpster fire of corruption and cronyism, is about as rich as it gets.
He’s not; unless he puts a monthly tax on each one to be paid by the employer, to subsidize training centers, tech schools, trade schools, etc, EXCEPT Universities! Universities and their faculty are just as destructive to American culture as anybody and deserve a top to bottom audit, investigations and reformations.
When, and what exactly did President Trump say to declare he stands by what Musk and Ramaswampy said to Americans who disagree with them?
When did he specifically come out and say “no, I don’t think people who want the H1B visa program overhauled should “f themselves in the face”, like Musk did.
That is a gross insult that you would be apoplectic about if it was Kamala saying it.
“…and most likely took part in having American workers train their Indian counter parts in before they were laid off from their Tech jobs.”
I thought that was Disney, who pulled that stunt.
“American citizens can see the story unfold in front of them and be glad/proud that President Trump is taking action to protect American jobs.”
Trump just endorsed the H1 immigration programs.
They’ve all pulled that stunt, and not just in tech—in banking as well.
Banking compliance analysts have been training their replacements in Poland for a long time. It’s now a major destination for outsourcing. I had colleagues get sent there to train those who would eventually replace them.
There is a large soap company headquartered in Cincinnati that asked me to train my replacements (it took two) that is guilty as well.
I took another job instead.
Prisons remove many jobs from the public sector and function as another form of corporate welfare. When you speak with an American English speaker you may just be talking to an inmate. Even state government jobs have been populated with inmates who stole identities and $ wreaking huge costs to individuals who wrongly trusted state government employees. Those could be good jobs for many outside the prison system. At one point my current state decided to offshore the welfare department to India! I once worked with a young woman who was quite vocal about having to pay off a student loan for a job that she couldn’t get because our state determined that those jobs should go to inmates. Why do the wrongdoers get rewarded for fear of recidivism when little to nothing is left for those who mind their morals? We once were solicited by a company trying to sell us vending machines but placement of those machines was our responsibility. In our state all the good and stable placements of those machines are given to “disabled” people to own and service. I remember a young man paying for his college with his own vending machines which always conflicted with my understanding that one family owned the rights to all in that state. Even small businesses that we might like to own and operate are not available to citizens only to new residents. We have watched people who bought franchise opportunities and were friends for years get shoved out by corporate in order to gift the franchise to “refugees” who proceeded to kill the business. Seems like there’s nothing left to us.
Duly noted, that it took two visacons to replace one native American worker.
I believe the whole reason Musk really got involved was he knew Trump would win and he desperately needed a voice in the H1B debate.
Trump is creating Operation Warpspeed 2.0
AI/Tech & DOGE are comparmentalized, will be given EVERYTHING they want, they will have full reign to do all the things the Techno Apartheid Oligarchs want.
AI is the new mRNA
Tech is the new vaccines
BIg tech is the new Big Pharma
Sacks is Fauci
Musk is GAtes
Vivek is a bit player
JAson is Birx
Replacement Automation is the next Covid lockdowns
Palantir ran Covid response for 35 countries including the UK
The Big tech AI agenda is 1000x bigger than mRNA and Covid 19.
Trump cannot go against Big Tech or Big Business, instead he is accelerated their plans
Its the institutional equivalent to forcing a teenager to smoke a packet of cigarettes and drink a case a beer in one session. HE is the dad who busts his son drinking and smoking in the garage, and accelerates and heightens the contradictions.
This tech AI agenda is already well advanced, we have a chance with Trump. MAGA grassroots needs to become activated, think for themselves, organize for their own interests, develop networks, speakers, activists, organizations, institutions and campaign. Ultimately develop businesses and enterprises to replace the big tech and big business corruption that exists
Elon Musk is a Techno Apartheid Oligarch
ALERT: When Techno Apartheid Oligarchs repost, comment or their avatars get in a Spaces, its probably an AI bot, an employee, or an algo. The algo is now updated to virtue signal to “genocided white Americans”. Poor whites get memes, oligarchs get rockets and private jets.
Elon Musk has liberty, ALL the Techno Apartheid Oligarchs have infinity liberty, while citizens have negative and diminishing liberty. Main Street gets spicey Memes on X and reposts by oligarchs while the overlords get spaceships and private DUMBS and immunity from laws.
When I have an emerald mine and a safe full of cash and a house with 12 bedrooms and 7 companies and ai bots talking in spaces for me while to met with the president I will feel like I am winning rather the being genocided like a poor white in techno apartheid
Elon has zero concept of Constitutional Republic USA and a middle class mass consumer democracy. He grew up in a house that became an Embassy. The ruling class came visit. Had an open safe full of cash. Recreated Tech Apartheid in America. Wow sad
When I have an emerald mine and a safe full of cash and a house with 12 bedrooms and 7 companies and ai bots talking in spaces for me while to met with the president I will feel like I am winning rather the being genocided like a poor white in techno apartheid
H-1B supporters are the enemy of MAGA.
What seems to be the case is that H-1B has been abused such that as it now is the program is unworkable. Reform is essential, which Musk acknowledges and supports.
The deeper problem which MAGA needs to acknowledge is that a significant number of American workers have an entitlement mentality relating to private employment which has probably been engendered by our over-generous welfare state.
If the “Dirty Jobs” go to Illegal Imports and the Techbro jobs go to Apu, exactly where are we hapless Americans supposed to work pray tell?
There is a dead zone.
Work until you’re 70 for full retirement benefits.
Hard to get hired after 50.
I hear you, my brother.
I know for FACT that extremely qualified and experienced tech workers who lost their jobs in the government supported worldwide financial crash last time, were never able to find work in their fields again, simply due to their age.
extremely qualified and experienced tech workers who lost their jobs in the government supported worldwide financial crash last time, were never able to find work in their fields again
that’s when you start you own company
Or go to medical school/sarc
No religious, sex, race, age discrimination….For some reason those protections never apply to us.
I can well believe it, Clarion.
No value is placed on wisdom and experience which comes with age.
It’s difficult to get hired at 45, sis!
So the sell by date keeps dropping…
I keep you in my prayers always 💕
They can’t keep me down. I will just clone firecracker bushes and sell 3 gallon pots with a foot tall blooming specimen for 20$ bucks a rattle at the Flea Market.
If I can clone 30 a day (until cold weather kills my mother plant to the ground) and sell 25 per day of the weekend I will be ok.
I can get free pots from a nursery by my house and I make compost and “Bio-Char” from leaves and grass clippings.
The Great Waymaker is lighting your path it seems, MLK…
Just as He didn’t remove the Red Sea but made away through it.
Prayers continue 🙏🏻😘
(I love those plants!!)
Thank you, Sis! Who doesn’t like humming birds? And why put money into Big Sugars pocket so we can have more red tide and further jam up the Everglades?
I always had yellow jackets and ants poison my standard feeders (no matter how fancy) until I found this plant and purple salvia.
I’ve tried to attract them…same problem with the ants, industrious little things, no matter how seemingly inaccessible the places I’ve hung feeders are. Disappointing.
I sprinkle a pile diatomaceous earth at the base of my hummingbird feeder poles. Never get ants in them.
👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻
I finally found a way to stop the pesky ants. But I’ll observe Grandma’s rules and not go..o/t
Conversations do tend to veer off.
But now they are price fixing property taxes to ensure people lose their homes
Property Taxes equal Unrealized Capital Gains Taxes in their most insidious form.
Yep, before it was ‘we need migrants to pick food’, then the message was ‘the jobs Americans don’t want to do’ like construction and labor.
Then as the manufacturing jobs were sent to other countries, the strength for the middle class, the more white collar type of data, tech and finance were supposed to be for Americans after they were sufficiently enslaved by degree debt.
Turns out the corporate powers had NO intention of allowing Americans in those jobs either as the would only hire low wage imports.
The result has been the deliberate decimation of the American workforce.
Americans have been forced to train the corporate imports and watch their children denied job opportunities that went to foreign imports.
The fury of an awakened American public is now directed at Elon and Vivek.
They don’t. Talk to some business owners in those fields sometime. Might be an eye opener.
Even Caesar Chavez and his lettuce pickers understood.
As disturbing and infuriating as this whole issue has been, I feel the same about it as I do about the four years of hideous tragedies and deliberate, cruel dismantling of this nation.
Where most knew about these visas, I’d wager the depth of the abusive manipulation of the process remained hidden.
No longer.
Righteous fury has delivered President Trump to office once again, that fury the product of the past four years which have infected the lives of Americans either directly or indirectly.
I’m hoping the same principle applies now.
Can’t start to clean up until we understand the treasonous, duplicitous abuse, all of which glaring sunlight has exposed in a few short days.
President Trump has yet to take office.
Hoping he remains true to his constant promise of American jobs for Americans…and praying he has not employed two Judas goats.
We shall see.
^^^^💯
There will be opportunities for us, coding the computers that send out the government benefit checks.
The deeper problem is that there are too few Americans left with the necessary skills and stamina, after 60 years of DIE* and 45 years of deindustrialization and physical coddling by Safetyism, rolling into the shallow-minded sedentary screen-obsessed present.
(* Starting with the social engineering programs based on The Civil Rights Act of 1964, morphed into neo-Marxism forcing identity class “equity” quotas.)
Bs. That’s what the cheap labor shills say. It’s an ex use to pay low wages
Both are true:
1) America has lost too much indigenous skilled capable labor, and semi/unskilled (e.g. construction, ag) capable labor.
And
2) Cheap labor exploiters are exploiting H1B and other immigrant labor for near-slavery.
We can trace it back to early American slavery, which led to a series of shifts through women’s suffrage justified by the Emancipation etc., through the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and on to DIE-ruination and the gynocracy-driven Safetyism and weakness of today.
American industry reacted to loss of capable labor by offshoring and outsourcing, plus ramping up immigration.
We lost our indigenous labor to 50 years of abundant cocaine, methamphetamine, crack cocaine, oxycodone, alcohol, tobacco, fentanyl and heroin.
CIA ensured a plentiful supply.
Unfortunately you are correct. The 800 lb gorilla in the room is the lack of intelligent American college graduates, PLUS the abuse of the H1B….US is ranked way below many countries education wise, and that’s thanks to quotas, DoE, DIE, democrats and the militant feminists that dominate our skoolz.
Too many companies require a degree when it is absolutely not needed. Training entry level employees properly would go a long way towards helping young minds mature instead of the indoctrination they get in a liberal arts degree that most of them walk away with.
Some say that our vaccines negatively affect intelligence and have for years . IDK what is true anymore but anything is possible and given the unveiled evidence of evil intent one must consider it probable.
” there are too few Americans left with the necessary skills”
Regarding IT, which is what most of the H1B visas are used for, your statement is false. Companies post ads with deliberately impossible job requirements and then say, “We tried to find Americans to fill these jobs and couldn’t find any.” They then proceed to fill the job with H1B visa holders. This has been going on for a long time. Go to any IT job search forum and you will see. There are many Americans with the necessary skills and willing to work. They are not the problem.
“They then proceed to fill the job with H1B visa holders.” – Who also do not meet the impossible job requirements, but will work longer hours for less money without Social security/Medicare benefits.
They meet the requirements alright, on paper with a resume full of lies and a stand-in for interviews–even on video.
Then after the interviews which show some knowledge, you notice a decline of work quality over weeks, then demand a video meeting and it’s a different person than you interviewed.
As absurd as it sounds, it happens all the time.
I keep seeing accounts, right here, of Americans who got kicked out of jobs they were already doing, replaced by foreigners.
They’ve been trying for decades to blame it on lack of skills.
This video clip is from 17 years ago. As I said in my previous reply, this has been going on for a long time. IT professionals are sick and tired of it.
Very enlightening .
Absolutely disgusting! My daughter is going to school for IT……. SIGH
Yep. Spouse was an engineer. Traveled the country troubleshooting. Came back to his home state, Arizona, and everybody wanted to pay him $5 an hour for his expertise. He of course refused and went into another business.
Thanks technoaesthete and the others for insights into corporations gaming the system to deny qualified Americans jobs and bring in underpaid H1B indentured servants instead.
Adding even more injury are the universities getting fat selling overpriced degrees to students taking on massive student loan debt, only to find that they can’t get employment because H1B is undercutting them.
If they do get a toehold job, they find that they cannot ever afford a house because the government drove high inflation and higher interest rates at the same time the elites were flooded with capital to invest in real estate for rental properties, driving prices beyond affordability. Then they will likely lose the toehold job anyway because of H1B competition and/or corporations “laying off” employees to increase profit even more. The employees bounce from underpaid job to underpaid job, never getting more than debt-serf status.
The greed and corruption in the elite class is worse than I realized.
Don’t see a good solution. It does appear that these and other things spiraling down are signs that the US is under God’s judgement now.
Finally, a voice of reason regarding this issue.
The American education system is so dumbed down that the quality of graduates is abysmal.
56% of the 79% literate Americans can only read at a grade 6 level. 22% of that 56% can only read at a grade 3-4 level.
Hardly the intellectual capabilities to build and sustain a productive workforce upon.
Can you share you source for these wildly inaccurate statistics?
56% of literate Americans can only read at grade 6…?
India average IQ =72. American=100
Same number of trad-ams in the US as there were in WWII. Learned skills and executed industrial output then. Can do it again. The rest can join or get out of the way. I’d bet on joining.
I wouldn’t say reform is essential, I would say the whole thing needs to be shut down on Day One.
The POTUS does not work for the interests of India, the POTUS does not work for the interests of immigrants either.
American workers not being considered for American jobs is entitlement thinking?!!?
That is like saying a wife should not be offended by her husband hiring prostitutes.
An excellent analogy!
The entire point of globalism is to prevent people who work for a living from making money off their trade by using slave labor and indentured servitude (H1B).
I don’t know what you do for a living, but try to imagine doing that job well only to have some alien from New Delhi get flown in to do the same job for 75% less pay in exchange for an escape from India and chain migration of their entire family…
There’s a welfare mentality and then there’s this.
I can’t find it Online, but Biden gave a speech in which he clearly stated “American’s have to get used to lower wages”
We have two choices here
1, we accept lower wages to beat off immigration, and keep consumer buying power the same.
2, we go to war on the corporations to lower their personal profits in order to improve wages, and give us a higher standard of living.
There is a third option, but the majority are too lazy, and scared for that.
Entitlement…..There’s that word again. Just like they down Social Security. Word games.
So true.I worked and payed into Social Security. YES, I’m ENTITLED….
So,IT engineers had rather ‘give’ their jobs to immigrants and go on welfare ? Makes sense to me…So good of you to explain MAGA to me. I must have been 😴 sleeping for years..
Where’s Elon’s apology to Trump’s base? The ones who can “f themselves in the face”, are “contemptible fools” who should be removed from the party “root and branch”, and (via liked tweet) are too “ret@ded to do IT”.
Stop glossing over what Musk did. He didn’t make some nuanced statement he’s walking back, he went on a direct, vulgar, and personal attack against Trump’s base like a child.
Until people start demanding the apology — even though forced–from Musk this won’t go away. Look at his way, “hey, I just got away with telling Maga to f themselves in the face, and I just had to do a lukewarm “it needs to fixed””. I’d take that as a I can do whatever I want to be honest, and Trump hasn’t said anything about it beyond “I like the program”.
I didn’t knock on doors to be told to f myself in the face.
There are 85,000 H1B visas issued each year. (Google search)
There are upwards of 50,000,000 illegals in this country.
I agree H1B needs to go, but Musk and Ramaswamy are on board with the mass deportations as a national security concern.
Musk deserves the abuse he is getting, but in our side a lot of short sighted people have latched onto “the outrage of the week” which robs us of strategic FOCUS.
We’ve just spend the last flipping week screaming about a side quest instead of using our megaphones to prepare the country for the mass deportations and budget fights that are coming.
This H1B visa circus is a circular firing squad.
Google lies again.
85000 IS the legal cap, but close to 1 million H1B Visas are granted. Way too many.
okay, so 1,000,000, it’s still a tiny number compared to 50,000,000 illegals. Focus on the important fight, not this side quest. Those indentured servants from India are mostly displacing Leftist workers in Big Tech jobs. Serves them right.
We have to FOCUS. The single most dangerous and difficult domestic policy initiative since the American Civil War begins in 21 days when the mass deportations take center stage in Trump 47. H1B is a side quest. That doesn’t mean it is unimportant. But it is a side issue.
Mass deportations will rescue millions upon millions of Americans nationwide from the scourge of illegal immigration. We need all our energy and effort focused on carrying out that policy.
mostly displacing Leftist workers in Big Tech jobs
half of IT people are conservative
we can walk and chew gum
we can take on two objectives at the same time…
From
…”Those indentured servants…”
To
…”Serves them right….”
Tell us you are elitist faking MAGA without telling us you are elitist faking MAGA.🤣
Not a small number when you consider the path to a green card and then subsequent chain migration. I guess you can make the case you’d rather be replaced with legal immigration versus illegal, but you’re still replaced.
The H1B visa method is preferred by people like Musk, as it’s hidden from view. The upside of replacement via legal methods is you don’t get thrown out of your apartment by a gang, you get thrown out by a nice person after you lose your job and can’t pay the rent.
Contrast your number to the number of illegals and their children that Clinton, Obama and Biden have let in the country over the years. ?20-40 million.
The financial cost of these illegals is astronomical in terms of education, health care, housing etc. And they are taking more jobs from low income earners than H-1B visa holders are taking from highly paid employees.
Mass deportation of illegals and the trillions of dollars in deficit are far more pressing concerns.
This outrage over H-1B visas pales in comparison.
The fact that President Trump has not made a statement on this issue means it is just not high on his priority list.
Absolutely. Keep your Eye on the prize. Look at the numbers 85,000 vs. 30 to 50,000,000. Let’s get rid of the short-term thinking.
I agree deporting 50 million illegals is great, but replacing people legally versus illegally isn’t much of an improvement. It’s way more than 85k, and then it’s a green card, chain migration, and it balloons out of control.
Soon you’ll have H1B visa working everywhere in every job, and the elites will love it.
I don’t consider it a side quest. Sorry not sorry. For me it’s the main thing and deportations and everything else is to support Americans having American jobs and American standard of living.
.
When you speak of the overall total of illegal immigrants, are you including:
1) the H1B recipients who have timed out of their indentured servitude, but did not leave, or obtain a green card, but slithered into the underground economy?
2) the visitors who came to see how those H1B recipients lived, and are overstaying their visitor’s visas?
3) the families of those H1B recipients who ‘chain migrated’ here without ‘official recognition’?
With H1B recipients supposedly in a data base, how difficult would it be for the border czar to create a division of his department to find and deport those known to ‘the system’?
Why concentrate on one class of those illegally in this country and not another? That hardly seems ‘equitable’ . . .
The people focusing on the illegals only don’t understand how bad the H1B scam is. The illegals are the shiny object to distract you—which is already being planned and has enough focus–while the legal replacement of Americans via H1B hides in the shadows.
To provide some information, you will have cases where a position/contractor slot has a rate of $100/hr, and the H1B visa will get $20/yr and the contracting company–who farms the visa worker out–gets $80/hr. See how it works? Make $160k off a person who gets $20k/hr with no benefits.
That profit and indentured servitude is why people like Musk and Vivek love the program.
It’s probably a smart move. Don’t give Collins, Murkowski, and the rest of the Mandarins anything to talk about in the back room before the confirmations. Because they will use the “gotcha” if they can. Use the “Mushroom Rule”–“Keep them in the dark and covered with sh_t.” Make the Mandarins come up with some adverse narrative so that we can refute them by stating we never said that on the record.
There’s enough entropy in the transition without some mis perceived social media post.
Bingo!
For the same reason President Trump refused to be briefed by the Deep State pre election…
And post election has hired his own transition team.
But for the H-B1 issue, the MAGA boat has hit very choppy waters; and personally I am starting to feel a teensy bit seasick.
We don’t know what we don’t know. Hanging onto the railings until the fog clears.
Gee Betsy, you certainly have a way with words! Loved that!
Betsy be sure to hang on the leeward* rail!
(pronounced looard)
There are knowns we know and knowns that are unknown..(or some blabbering nonsense like that) [ Donald Rumsfield] 😉
This goes away with a –grovelling– apology from Musk. Nothing else will suffice.
Musk abandons his home country, comes here on an F-1 Visa (NOT an H1B visa), get citizenship and gets wealthy off of US taxpayer handouts/subsidies, then turns around and says they’re too “ret@arted” to do IT.
We don’t need two ingrate billionaires–Musk and Vivek.
None of the cabinet appointees are talking though. In this case, an oblique way of reprimanding Musk and Vivek doesn’t work. Musk especially really went caveman on MAGA with “f yourself in the face” and Americans are (via liked tweet) “too ret@rded” to do IT. A generic memo doesn’t cut it here, and abject apology is in order.
Honestly, have you ever heard of anyone behaving like this who is around a President? F yourself in the face?
Trump needs to specifically call out Musk and Vivek and make them grovel here, as this is bad and anyone who knows the full scope of Musk’s insults realizes this is more than some milquetoast policy debate.
Kamala will go after him and his companies if she won. Feds already started investigating him early on. Musk clinged on to Trump for his survival and other like techbros are only for profits.
In March 2024, Tesla laid off 15,000 workers, and then applied for thousands of H1B visas…
I think an investigation should be opened on Mr. Musk’s operations and how visas are used at his companies.
I said before that they ALL have been talking way too much before President Trump is inaugurated. Scaring the hell out of the left and causing them to try and Trump-proof everything while they have time.
Should have just ALL kept their mouths shut till after the inauguration. Even Holman has talked way to much. Musk and Vivic(sp) did not have to say a word and everybody would’ve been a lot better off.
Every time they open their mouth sounds to me like they’re speaking for President Trump. MAKE AMERICA FIRST has always been the battle cry of MAGA.
Should have just ALL kept their mouths shut till after the inauguration.
Here Here and Well Said!
Samson slew with the jawbone of an ass and every day millions of interactions are killed with the same weapon.
This 1000%!! Great comment.
I’m really shocked someone didn’t tell all of them to shut up. Talking too much just shows your hand now anyway. I think Homan is a good man, but he does need to stop with the talk about arresting officials. If it comes to that, and they back off, he’s toothless and the whole process will collapse.
A milquetoast memo is not the way to tell them to shut up, btw. Musk and Vivek need to be singled out and made to grovel to Trump for the damage they’ve caused.
“There has been a major disturbance in The Force” of MAGA World ever since this Wiles broad appeared on the scene.
I have never trusted Eloan Assburger or Vivarin Roboswampy.
I have never trusted JR either.
The weirdest weirdness of the whole deal is nobody has seen JD in a month of Sundays..
.
Perhaps he and his family are spending the holidays in India . . .?
The last sighting of JD was a post he made showing him making biscuits with his son. Not having posted the recipe I don’t know if they are garlic or curry.
Agree, this is likely a subtle reminder to the Tech Bros to please keep their mouths shut.
“and Transition” is the key here. The Transition team should not be spouting off either on what they believe are or are not President Trump’s positions. Yet that is what they have been doing. Trying to influence policy they are not even a part of.
Their spouting off can easily muddle the waters for Senate confirmed nominees and the process they go through.
There is MAGA and then there is Dark MAGA.
MAGA is us.
Dark MAGA is the tech bros, who are lazy business people that do not think they should get their hands dirty building U.S. citizen recruitment programs for hiring American workers, already here, ready and fully capable to work. Especially not when it’s just cheaper for them to just buy a politician and continue what they’ve always been doing, that is working perfectly for them.
Bravo! Well said, sir. Techies did not make America great with their stupid EV’s which Hertz can’t rent and is now trying to unload for peanuts.
Men and women who work with their hands built America.
Techies by comparison are building a police state.
Lazy is inaccurate.
Really? Then illuminate me on how they have worked to fix this problem? I’ll be waiting.
Ha! You think Musk and Ramaswamy are LAZY? Your credibility has been destroyed.
.
The context was “lazy business people”.
When one is a business person, to be lazy in that business is to take whatever shortcuts one can take advantage of — even if it is unethical, immoral, ‘legal’ in the non-emotional sense.
IOW, being in the business only for your bottom line, and not giving a flip about unintended consequences as a result of making a ton of money.
TY Debra. Some people can’t think their way out of a paper bag.
The important thing is not the general admonition about posting on social media. It’s about reminding everyone that no one speaks for the President-Elect but him.
Exactly.
Wiles could have sent a private message. This was a public broadcast.
Intended audience: us.
💯 EXACTLY!!
Become more well informed. Here is some suggested reading to assist.
The Capital is Like Brigadoon – American Thinker
The simple truth to the H-1B (and its many derivatives) discussion is that it is a typical government fix to a problem government created. It was created when the schools were dumbed down to fit everyone and every student became “awesome”. Once the program is accepted as a solution then there is no longer a reason to develop workers in this country to meet American needs. Obviously if we never develop our own within America we really don’t have a lasting country. Even the .1% has no honest support. Those special people will find a way to get here or be utilized in their own country. Simply put we don’t need the program. Even temporary labor should be sourced from the USA. Anything else leads to reduced standards of living in the USA and eventually failure of the American dream.
YES!
Not true. It was created for companies that don’t want to innovate anymore, and just want to increase profits by cutting costs. Those same companies then lobby for more regulation to stifle competition. Example is the health care industry, who loves the 50 forms to fill out when you go to the Dr, as the small Dr office can’t compete. Btw, many H1B visas working in hospitals, and they are not better than Americans.
Okay, ask the question: “Has this been done before?”
If not, ask: “What has changed now?”
Remind: Social ‘media’ didn’t exist to the degree it does now in 2000 (there was Free Republic, and some Yahoo chat groups) so there is that …
Knew when he onboarded lucifer’s pharma’s Susie that we were likely in for trouble.
I like Musk. But it seems he got drunk with power and popularity too quickly for anyone to feel comfortable, especially since it’s coming from the world’s richest man.
Musk believed his own cool-aid thinking that he can drive the conversation and guide it to the result he wanted. He’s too new at this to understand Americans are now seeing through the wool cloth that was placed over their eyes for so long. It’s not a “one person” who drives MAGA; it’s MAGA who drives that “one person”. Trump fills the sweet spot because he is in tune with MAGA, understands it, and believes in it himself.
If Musk thinks he’ll be able to manipulate X/Tweeter, he’s only right up to the point of losing his new supporters. His new attempts at censorship aren’t the first rodeo most people on the platform have gone through. They’ll switch to Truth or others as soon as they get (shadow)banned.
I myself was going to purchase the blue-check whatever, to support this platform. Having second thoughts now… I guess I’ll wait another year…
I still own 2 Teslas and love the cars. But Musk still has to learn a lot about politiking… It’s not engineering, that’s for sure. And, if he isn’t too careful, he may see his own businesses stall.
MAGA didn’t get here to be stifled by a billionaire. 86 other billionaires supporting the Dems found that out in November.
But… Trump will settle things straight. Wiles most important line is that whomever says stuff online, ain’t speaking for America or Trump. Got that, Musk?
Just a thought, what Wiles has said, in my mind, are the words of her boss, not the woman saying it.
PPl here seem ready to hang EVERYBODY if they do not like ANYTHING being said or done.
The admonition is good advice for us all. The hired media outcry lackeys are eager for anything to
foment discord.
Enough with the bitching, we have not even gotten started yet.
Lets retain our composure and get our man over the finish line, and in so doing, get his
team across it as well.
You know that pause thing he does when considers and answer to a question, he forgot to do that when he told our MAGA representative to GFYS in the face.
Do think the TSLA stock pullback has anything to do with his X post ?
Great comment and I’d add Musk’s response to the pushback on H1B visas shows he’s not used to anyone questioning him, which leads to one reason an egotist like him loves H1B visas; they argue, they go home.
About 90% of foreign workers hired via H1B into STEM/Hi-Tech are from India.
If these workers are so smart, so great, so wonderful, how come India is a craphole?
Caste system.
People do what they know so they are bringing it with them.
.
Which is a repeat in history.
Afrikaners rounded up fellow continent residents and pushed them onto slave ships.
Many slaves were ‘promised’ freedom once they ‘paid off’ their ‘expenses’.
When up-right Americans finally had seen enough of this fiasco, a civil war was fought.
Who do these techbros, who are so enthralled with the current arrangement, expect to go to war to free these ‘newly minted’ slaves?
Does this apply to Devin Nunes, who runs Truth Social?
There is a serious matter that President Trump needs to be made aware of and Elon Musk will have to explain:
the very serious problems around the feasibility and affordability of EVs being anything more than the toy for elites.
see the excellent speech given at Hillsdale College by Mark Mills
youtube
EV Mandates vs. Freedom | Mark P. Mills
and the video
Five FUNDAMENTAL misconceptions about EVs | MGUY Australia
The EV was never meant to be affordable for the masses.
Mark Mills even acknowledges a faction that is vehemently against the freedom of mobility that only cars can offer.
I’m glad we’re seeing some of this now before DJT takes office. It is allowing him time to make corrections and adjustments before he tries to get major policy changes underway. Who and where are the snakes in the grass.
The stink is not on Trump but the pressure will shift to Congress.
A benefit of this is that Congress is also watching and when Trump brings this to them, having had this preview, they will be under pressure to give to the People what is being demanded.
Time will tell.
55% of billion dollar+ tech companies were started by immigrants. Google + Intel + Tesla were all founded or built by immigrants. They employ 400,000+ people collectively. Percentage of workforce allowed to be H-1B is effectively capped at 15% for big tech companies. The other 85%+ is American. At Google only 5% of the workforce was H-1B renewals or petitions in 2023. The U.S. is 12/37 among first-world (OECD) nations in science. 28/37 in math. 400,000 new engineers are needed every year. A third of positions go unfilled. Short-term, we need foreign reinforcements or we will lose. Long-term, we need to improve the home team. Excerpt from Feldman article on AT.
GooGoo, which has become a gargantuan citizen-surveillance and control mafia, was founded by a couple strange kids from Michigan whose parents immigrated. The kids had a great time of it on their leased Bahamian island, the booze, the dope, the broads while the company board hired Americans to run the thing.
Who cares? Life was good before these on-spectrum geeks were handed the economy by bubba bullshxx.
We don’t need them. They need us.
Good reply. Thank you for reading post.
“We don’t need them. They need us”
If only more people understood this.
Please don’t pass the swill here.
Thanks Vivek.
This is the typical lie spread about H1B. No, Tesla wasn’t founded by Musk, Google wasn’t found by an immigrant unless Page is one, and Intel was most definitely not. Stop with the lies.
Either way, this was before the H1B visa program, so I take it your point is it can go away, as the previous system of immigration picked out the best and brightest so who needs H1B visa? I agree with your thinking.
Susie Wiles, ‘frat house mother’, almost feel sorry for her, thanks Vivek and Elon, your both just unelected helpers, stay in your lane. Elon, that’s how you got that unofficial president tag from the left.
I agree. I guess her “no clown world” people around Trump ain’t workin’.
Sacks has been trying to control the narrative. Some of the nominees might stand up for the people, maybe.
SOP: If they say you can not question it, then question it more.
Trump is loyal to us. He’s not going to put up with “f your face” and “Americans are stupid lazy jocks” attacks on us. Especially because he’s an MMA loving, golf playing, sports enthusiast.
This is exactly what it appears to be: a stand down order to Musk and Ramaswamy. “You will work my agenda and not your own.”
I think it’s also a reminder going into the confirmation process not to let nominees’ emotions get the better of them on social media. Dump trucks more mud are coming, so keep your powder dry during Senate confirmation. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that some of the nominees are upset that attacks on them are not being taken apart by the transition team…but the transition team knows the best thing to do is keep yer yap shut sometimes.
Which brings me back to “f your face” Musk. Shut up, Elon. You’re in the minority of the minority of the minority on H1B visas, and people already know that the point is cheap foreign labor to REPLACE Americans.
Great comment. And Grok called out Musk on his own lie, as he didn’t come here on an H1B visa, he was on an F-1 Student visa. I think it’s hilarious to get called out by your own “monster”, as in Frankenstein. Hahaha.
Elon and his crew got too high on their supply and thought that everyone wanted to hear their opinions. WE DO NOT. The President appointed you to do a job. DO THE JOB. Period. Serve at his pleasure and move on.
That’s what my wife tells me about my opinions.
Time to get a new wife.
I am so glad muskrat and them opened their big fat mouths, cursed us, then blocked us. Now there is no doubt in my mind how they really feel about American workers, and other related things.
…… “no member of the incoming administration or transition speaks for POTUS”……..
Posting that disclaimer should be everywhere, even mandatory, but I’m in favor of letting everyone speak and comment. If they lie or try to push something anti-American/MAGA, we’ll know.
Me likes the sunlight.
Musk knocked off his pedestal. Ramaswampy exposed as a clown. Immigration elevated as an issue, paving the way for the big work.
Almost as if a genius engineered all this.
.
So will one be granted a second chance and the other unceremoniously dumped back to continue the undermining . . .?
Even better, now groups are pulling the H1B visa records, and finding cool stuff like the Heritage foundation has an H1B visa MS office expert or something.
They are going through all of the H1B visa records, and looking for Con-Inc scum who use H1B visa. Good times!
The one they need to worry about is the twelve year old who picked up President Trump’s i-phone and posted “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT” a while back.
I read a comment somewhere the other day, after Elon made his “f your face” comment. The person stated Elon is autistic, and there was no one willing to hold his arms and say ‘you’re ok, Elon, but you’ve got to calm down.’
Susie Wiles is willing.
I don’t like or trust Susie Wiles or any of the Tech Bros.
Having said that, I think the directive coming from Wiles is a good idea. There are probably several of President Trump’s official appointees who aren’t happy about Elon the Censor running his mouth. They might be inclined to fire back on social media, which would turn this issue into a five alarm fire.
Message discipline is crucial. I have confidence in our President that he will handle Musk and the unruly tech bro children. Wiles is letting everyone else know that they should stay out of the fight, focus on confirmation, and to let President Trump handle the rest.
Maybe she just wants the lies to go unchallenged, so we won’t kick up too much fuss when Americans get thrown under the bus.
This is my impression as well, we are going to upset the apple cart by taking apart this H1B issue and examining it – and standing up for our fellow Americans – then later it will be when extended H1B’s and the like are a fait accompli – “well, you were quiet . . . why didn’t you say anything?”
Steve Bannan is on a rampage over this issue and you can bet ole Susie won’t shut him up.
light being shined on the H1-B visa issue should be welcomed.
started during Obama’s reign of terror I believe
H1 visas began in 1990 with Bush. Chockful of DIVERSTY.

I am so GRATEFUL Kamala is NOT president! Thank YOU GOD!
We all know what it was like when Trump was elected in 2016! Well buckle up for the RIDE OF YOUR LIFE! 20 days away from President Trump is President (again).
Ride the Bull !!!!!, … President Trump! Be the best president this country has ever known.
Come on guys, MAGA WON! WE won! I’m so so so happy we are not a Communist Country and have Kamala be the installed President by the deep state (china sympathizers).
My “spidey senses” are tingling for a different reason. I don’t understand why all of the oxygen in the room is being sucked up by the H1B debate. We’re talking about a 100,000 or so legal immigrants per year, all of whom have jobs, all of whom pay income taxes. Are there abuses in the system? Of course! It’s a government program, so it was designed by special interests. If a different group of special interests wants to step up an pay our elected officials to modify or eliminate the program let them have at it. Sadly, that is how our system works.
This whole thing rings like an orchestrated distraction to me. If Elon Musk and Steve Bannon, as private citizens, want to use their platforms to make their disagreement public and personal let’em. Trump is wise to keep his cabinet (and the US government) out of the spat. I just don’t understand the volume being generated over this? The overwhelming majority of Americans who were even aware of H1B visas have never given this program a second thought. We have 20+million illegal alien invaders in this country, many of whom don’t have jobs, most of whom likely don’t pay income taxes. That and $35 TRILLION of debt seem like issues much more worthy of the kind of passion and volume being generated over H1B visas? Help me here. What am I missing??
It’s way bigger than that.
Absolutely.
Tip of the spear.
All you Union haters. This is how the Unions were born.
Now I’m totally lost. ???
Plus what about the chain migration in the works for the H1B imports?
How so?
I and others have been posting for days now all the ways the H1B visas are part of massive organized criminal racketeering.
But compared to human trafficking of millions across our southern border, wouldn’t the H1B issue be relatively small potatoes from a racketeering standpoint? And certainly the corruption and graft within the US Government that lead to 35 TRILLION in debt is a far bigger criminal enterprise.
I’m just going to have to watch this discussion unfold for a while.
The border gets shut down, and the replacement continues. All one issue.
The surveillance state.
If Americans will not build it, who will?
Thank you for the reply Sundance. I hadn’t factored that angle in. Personally I would be more likely to join in the fray if the argument was over whether or not it should be built at all. Is that battle already lost?
Look at older post on Dec.9, 2024 about Palantir CEO at Reagan National Defense Forum-
Below is quoted from that post;
It is a conversation no one is having before the capability is reached.
That said, Palantir CEO Alex Karp appeared at the Reagan National Defense forum, and does a great job advocating for the U.S. to win the artificial intelligence race. Karp believes it is possible to insert “values” into the software at strategic places of connection, and thereby control the outputs. The question within the AI race then becomes, whose values? Ours or our enemies?
Try 800+K/year
That’s 800+K applications isn’t it? The number of H1B’s allowed per year is like 85,000 right?
The cap is routinely blown by several orders of magnitude every year. People simply look the other way at this, among many many other abuses within the H1b Visa system.
So this is from the internet so who knows if it’s true, but it looks like issued H1B visas has been exceeding the 85,000 limit in recent years by 40,000 to 100,000 or so. Why this is allowed I have no idea.
https://redbus2us.com/h1b-visa-cap-reach-dates-history-graphs-uscis-data/
Orchestrated by whom? Musk? Direct your ire appropriately. And no, this is the camel nose under the tent, this slides by, soon you’ll see H1B visa workers in the steel mills, assembly lines, etc.
With the green card pathway, then chain migration, it’s a lot more than 85k.
“In essence, I suspect the warning really is about what the Occam’s Razor indicates it would be about. As always, I could be wrong; but I’d be willing to wager on this one.”
I’ll take your side of that bet. It is a subtle way of delivering the message “stop” without confronting anyone directly. And it is a message for ALL of us.
There is a total dustup going on in the back seat. Without singling out any of the brothers or sisters or cousins, Mom says over her shoulder “Dad can’t drive with all this racket. Would someone please keep the dog quiet?” Dog’s asleep.
Message received. Yeah. She’ll do just fine.
My dad just reached over the seat and slapped the crap out of us.
I can see President Trump doing that to an unruly bunch of back seat drivers. 😉
Damage control.
The only other reason I could think of for the public admonition to not post on social media accounts is the recent knowledge of the Chinese hacking into pretty much every telecom company system in the United States, giving the CCP access to not only text and voice messages, but locations of anyone they want to know the location of, so it could, possibly, maybe, perhaps be a simple security precaution?
That is possible given the Obama lawfare crew still employed by the government does like to spy on its enemies.
from Bad Kitty Unleashed X post:
thread on the massive data base that Obama’s crew embraced, and still operates (too long to type the whole thing, sorry, carpel tunnel acting up today)
and this is another X post by Bad Kitty Unleashed on the same operation, Congress had pulled the funding but the Obama crew found another way to keep their spying open and ongoing:
It was funding for something called the NSAC, lost its funding but Obama’s FBI kept running it.
I wonder if this could also be a reason for the reminder to not do social media by the incoming nominees.
I mentioned this before… I’m not sure why this is an issue as Trump already stated his acceptance of work visas in 2016 and said he uses them for employees.
This issue regarding visas might be a manufactured wedge issue for Musk as he sees his X site bleeding subscribers and leaving for Blue Sky or Trump Social. Hopefully the program gets changed since this conversation started.
Musk seems to be swinging back to globalist conservative beliefs. They believe in climate change, corporate scams, cheap labour imported or exported, China centric policies, censorship, pandemics, etc.
There seems to be a swing back to this type of conservatism that helped ruin Canada before Trudeau. Liberal and conservative globalists are all the same. The only difference seems to be “woke” social issues used as a wedge issue that they have distracted us with.
They have found a way to continue their globalist goals no matter which party is elected. Hopefully Trump can stay on track and stick to most MAGA policies. Sadly other world globalist conservative parties are still misleading the people and duping us. They don’t want to understand the benefits of “country first”.
Susan Wiles ran a very successful campaign to get President Trump re-elected. She is making sure Trump’s nominees get confirmed with little reason for the Democrats and the media to manufacture outrage against Trump’s picks.
Wiles is being strategic and smart, and should be applauded for this.
Quite a change from those in the same job who stymied Trump at every turn.
As if those that oppose them haven’t already made up their minds, and can’t read anything they have already said.
More likely, it’s a warning, they will work to push them through, as long as they don’t do something foolish, like standing up for American worker.
I notice that Elise Stefanik is only talking about Israel.
I don’t know Susie well enough to applaud her..
You’re 100% right!
Have you considered that perhaps the “Ice Maiden” views herself as being much more important than she really is?
She’s not Chief of Staff until he’s in office. Getting a little ahead of herself.
Maybe all this delay and calls for unity and silence are because somebody on Trump’s team has maybe read a book or something, and discovered what the H1B issue is really all about, and knows that our anger truly is justified, so they have no idea how they are going to keep it.
Pussy-footing around is for pussies.
Come on, President Trump. Take a stand. Are you for American workers, or for India?
Sundance – “why?”
IMHO, same reason a lawyer tells his client to remain silent when their words can and will be used against them.
IMHO, in this case, certain RINOs are seeking any excuse possible to reject certification of PDJT or any of PDJT’s nominees who aren’t Deep State controlled and approved.. Online comments in social media are fair game for twisting and deliberately inaccurate inferences.
IMHO it’s too late for this “closing the barn door after the horses have already left”. But mine is just a guess.
President Trump has made politics absolutely FASCINATING!!
I have never viewed him as one who was infected with the hivemind of the left where everyone is an NPC robot spouting what they are told.
He demonstrates independent thinking and encourages others to do the same. Recall how Trump emphasized that he would NOT direct Bondi or Patel?

Think about his TV show the apprentice. People will show what they bring in skills and weaknesses.
The exposure of both Elon and Vivek as condescending technocrats that despise Americans only makes it easier for him to end H1 if he wishes with huge public support, no matter how the corporate powers howl.
They all howled when Trump left the TPP and Elon left in 2017 when Trump left the Paris Agreement.
IMO, the H-1B issue is a red herring meant to divide the MAGA movement.
I agree that the H1b visa issue is important, i.e. hiring American workers is one of the most central MAGA issues. As such it is easy to become emotional. Sundance has reminded us repeatedly that our government has abused us. But there have been so many abuses, which we can read about each and every day, that containing one’s outrage is a challenge.
At the same time, it is possible that this issue came up to highlight how damaging our leaders have been: They have damaged us and abused us with illegal immigration, with sending American jobs overseas, with a poison shot everyone had to take or be considered. a leper, with throwing our economy off a cliff and causing inflation that destroys our life savings…..But apart from all these abuses, the department of education has indoctrinated our children and left them struggling to compete with stem graduates from other countries.
The whole dust up shines a light on what our so-called leaders have done to destroy our ability to earn a decent living through focusing on teaching everything BUT the skills American children need to develop to compete.
Many take what Ramaswamy said personally, as if he intended to insult Americans, but it’s possible he meant it as a statement of what has been done to Americans and what needs to be fixed. He has a personal stake in it, being an American, but it is easy to hear him as if he’s the foreign one who took away your job. Meanwhile, all the time the Trump team will be “fixing” what the globalists have broken, high tech companies still need to hire.
The more we get frustrated and angry about what has been done to us, the more difficult it is to listen and hear each other neutrally. When we feel attacked it is understandable to want to attack back. But in order to fix what is broken we all need to be able to talk about it with one another.
If the high tech boys are only about screwing Americans, this will be revealed and Trump will make sure all of us, his supporters, know it.
If the high tech people want to make money AND help make America great again, including American workers, we will see that too.
This is a period in which much will be revealed to Americans and it won’t be pretty.
We as a people have been through so much. We have been so badly abused beyond belief by our government, that any time we get a hint that we are being betrayed again, it’s like being a victim of trauma: we cannot differentiate this moment from those moments before when we REALLY WERE BEING damaged purposely. Every new apparent insult makes us feel, “It’s happening again! We are going to be damaged again!”
Maybe we are. But let’s consider a range of possibilities, including that Trump has a limited amount of time to accomplish a lot, and he has to work in a system that is determined to end his life and destroy MAGA. The democrats are already planning for 2026. The more the ugliness of the democrat/uniparty gets revealed, the more we will get new people involved with MAGA.
The other point Sundance makes which is valid is that our movement is about TRANSPARENCY in our government. When Trump’s Chief of Staff comes out and says to Trump appointees: “Don’t post on social media,” it feels like she’s on the side of hiding things, covering things up, and not being transparent. We’ve had enough of the coverups so this is particularly galling. I agree. It is not a good sign at the moment, because at this moment we need MORE TRANSPARENCY than ever to make sure we aren’t being messed with. By anyone.
Since Vivek and Musk receive no pay for their DOGE jobs, supposedly, I wonder if we couldn’t H1-b-visa-replace them with a couple of guys from India who would do the job for less than nothing.(?) Just wondering.
How easily the left has us arguing about LEGAL immigration, however many issues that subject may reveal, the real issue no one addresses anymore is the 50-60 MILLION illegals that need to be dealt with.
Chasing our tail is not productive…..
We are addressing that.
I appreciate seeing their true colors at the outset of the new admin. Musk is for Musk; full stop and Vivek has deep seated contempt for average Americans living average lives.

DHS Announces H-1B Modernization Final Rule to Improve Program Integrity and Efficiency
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) today announced a final rule modernizes the H-1B program by streamlining the approval process, increasing its flexibility to better allow employers to retain talented workers, and improving the integrity and oversight of the program.
The H-1B nonimmigrant visa program allows U.S. employers to temporarily employ foreign workers in specialty occupations, defined by statute as occupations that require highly specialized knowledge and a bachelor’s or higher degree in the specific specialty, or its equivalent. The final rule aims to provide greater flexibilities for employers and workers by modernizing the definition and criteria for specialty occupation positions as well as for nonprofit and governmental research organizations that are exempt from the annual statutory limit on H-1B visas. These changes will help U.S. employers hire the employees they need to meet their business needs and remain competitive in the global marketplace.
The rule also extends certain flexibilities for students on an F-1 visa seeking to change their status to H-1B to avoid disruptions in lawful status and employment authorization. To improve program efficiency, the final rule will allow USCIS to more quickly process applications for most individuals who had previously been approved for an H-1B visa. It will also allow H-1B beneficiaries with a controlling interest in the petitioning organization to be eligible for H-1B status, subject to reasonable conditions.
….Today’s rule builds on a previous final rule, announced in January 2024, which has already dramatically improved the H-1B registration and selection process.
Modernizing and streamlining can’t fix corruption.
<Modernizing and streamlining can’t fix corruption>
Exactly.
Should’ve left off last line – DHS wording/not mine. I added to highlight the previous “Jan 24 – final rule” – not endorse it.
It is the “corruption” kinda like SBF’s “Effective Altrusism”
“Modernizing and streamlining” sound like Swamp-speak for adding more corruption.
Just like anytime a law is described as “Common-sense xyz reform” it is instituting tyranny. Anytime there is a “comprehensive” change it is adding more bureaucracy and wiping out Citizens’ rights. “Omnibus” always means it is bursting with pork-spending. Laws or executive orders described as “necessary” never actually are. etc.
“…as well as for nonprofit and governmental research organizations that are exempt from the annual statutory limit on H-1B visas.” What “specializations” does a nonprofit need that cannot be found in the US? It’s not populated with STEM or coding positions, is it? It seems that nonprofits are staffed by those with an emphasis on the humanities and surely such positions could be filled by non H-1 B virus, I mean status, applicants. Are there other countries that specialize in NP agencies? If the NP supports a mission in another country, don’t they find staff in that location. It seems to be the field with the least amount of specialization, but is given limitless H-1B positions in this new “modernization.” Quite illogical.
NGO’s and non profits should have no – NONE access to H-1B visa employee. Period. Its a scam for the NGO’s to hire and get as many of their believers into the US with the minions helping on the front lines as activists brought here with your tax dollar.
An NGO relies on tax dollar – GOV grants-to fund them, why do they need visa workers and the tax credits that comes with?
Why does a non-profit? need H-1B visa employees-surely a non-profit can find employees to work for them without government assisted tax credits-they don’t pay taxes either.
Something very fishy about this whole scam on American workers…IMO
Tech bro musk has a vested interest in h1b foreign types. Space x might as well be a non profit with no hire limit.
Chief of staff wiles will make sure clown car types, Americans, will be ignored in the tech bro industry as much as possible.
Trump just goes along and ignores Americans who want h1b to change.
This ain’t making america great again.
Jabbed us again.
Same program new name … why do we care about blowbull economy blowbullism is the new identity for communism
