Setting aside the assembly of research notes for topics and issues I am following; I turn to send a simple message on this holiest of holy nights. I am thankful for you in ways I will never be able to convey.
When we say “Merry Christmas” do we think about it?
This is the day of great joy, the greatest joy of all. Tonight, we celebrate a loving and purposeful blessing provided to us by our Creator. The universal truth. The pure perfection of a loving Child born in the most ordinary fashion for us, to us, to guide and share the most blessed and purposeful message that could ever be delivered to mankind: We are Loved.
The message in the story of Christ’s birth is pure love. Sit in the peace created by our acceptance and join together in joy.
Years from now, it is unlikely anyone will remember that thing they unwrapped. What they will remember, what will have much greater impact, is a message from YOU to THEM that they matter, that they too are loved. Think about what “Merry Christmas” means, when you say it.
The Merry Christmas moment provided by you, will NEVER be forgotten. That look in your eye or sound of your voice that reaches them and emphasizes their value, their worth, their importance; that is the gift they will remember in great detail, forever.
Hope is the necessary human element beyond all other facets of life. Give the gift of hope and light to those you love by first reminding yourself of the gift that a loving God has given us all. It is too easy in our human sense to forget the biggest gift we have been granted, the gift of life. The ability to live and choose how we engage in the lives of others.
Remind yourself when you say “Merry Christmas” of the kind of purposeful HOPE that would leave the most glorious throne to be born into a manger as a baby, only to grow into a Man willing to lay down His everything for the flawed people amid humanity. Why? Because that hope is pure. That love is perfect.
No politics or false sense of security can overwhelm the message of HOPE that a loving God has provided. No effort of man or human disposition can surmount the greatest love of all. The message of Christ’s birth is bigger and greater than any political or legislative battle.
“No power of hell, nor scheme of man” can come close to the purpose of God’s intent and love for you as a unique person qualified to receive that love. Turn “Merry Christmas” into an action message. Engage in the moments around saying “Merry Christmas” with a loving purpose filled with the HOPE that He provides. Fall forward to the centered purpose of your life, a very special life, and reflect on the gift we often are too busy to contemplate.
When I think about thankfulness for you at Christmastime, I think about our friend, Rush Limbaugh. He said it so well.
Merry Christmas, everyone!
Rush Limbaugh’s final Christmas show. There was always something about Rush and Mannheim Steamroller. While it wasn’t his last ever show, it was his way of saying goodbye to us. pic.twitter.com/GX0ow7RB2Z

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.” And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” Then He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost.”
Revelation 21:1-6

Retired Magistrate here: The miracle of Christmas: GOD took on human form, humbled himself and became lower than the angels and lived a sinless life so that HE could become the perfect sacrifice for those who believe and accept JESUS as Personal Savior. I will never get over the wonder of it.
Merry Christmas to all.
Merry Christmas, Marcia!
Amen, Sister.

“Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

The Three Wisemans are the OG of STAR TREK but only THE WISE will get that
THE best little place on the internet. Merry Christmas to all.
Merry Christmas Sundance and to the Treeper Family.
Thank you, SD for your faithful service over these years. Its been somewhat of a roller coaster, hasn’t it?
You’ve always come through. You’ve continued to keep us informed, letting us know of things we otherwise may never have known, given the propaganda media’s compromised ‘standards’.
When I hear “Merry Christmas”, it evokes traditions and fabulous, sweet memories of my early years – one where we loved life, loved our country, our schools and teachers, the mailmen, policemen, and firemen. One where parents were stable, went to work every morning and maintained nice homes. It truly was a Leave It To Beaver existence. We spent summers outdoors playing with the neighbor kids, where the one rule was to go home when the street lights came on.
Christmases were total magic. The toys fabulous. The Christmas trees were the artificial kind, flocked in white, with big red ornaments. Sometimes they were the aluminum type, with a color fan set up to cast the silvery tree in red, green, blue and yellow hues. We children didn’t know about crime, poverty, or predatory freaks or deviants. Life was solid, safe and encouraging. They were halcyon days. I thank Father GOD for it.
From age12-14, I got up every morning at 3:00 a.m., got on my bycylcle, road several miles to the “paper station” (actually just an area under a tree, in a dirt lot where the driver dropped of the bundles of newspapers)
loaded my bycycle up with papers, and rode several miles delivering them to various houses.
And, it was GOOD for me; I developed a work ethic, and a bank account. It was character building.
I doubt there is anywhere in the Country, where newspapers are delivered by children on bikes any more….
Such a shame,..
Absolutely no doubt, Dutch, that’s exactly how you developed your work ethic.
Both my brothers did this also, they had great respect for their paper route manager and comraderie with fellow paper boys. They delivered the papers, collected the monthly bills on their route. They loved it and excelled in academics and school sports.
Whoa! You just brought me to the way back machine, those days were all you said….and honest.
Sundance, thank you for that beautiful message and the excellent perspective on this holy day. May God bless you and Menagerie and all Treepers everywhere!
Merry Christmas!
Love is the law of the Universe
God blessyou and everyone at the Conservative Treehouse.
I try to remember this in my daily prayers. Thank you Sundance for your courage and your love for us.
Merry Christmas! 🥰
Happy birthday to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Please say hello to Rush in heaven!
Have people stopped sending Christmas cards? I only got two this year. People call me and e-mail me. However, many of my friends have passed away.
What I think is that the All-American Christmas culture may have changed. I love to send Christmas cards. It gives me the chance to write little personal notes about myself and how much I enjoy Christmas music, and the good smells of Christmas: evergreen, cookies, brisk winter weather. I usually spend a long Winter Evening writing Christmas cards. And I ain’t gonna stop writing Christmas cards…
Thank you Sundance for bringing truth and wisdom to us everyday. And, your remarkable team.
May God Bless you all through the coming year, filled with health, happiness and peace.
Merry Christmas to all the Moms!
Merry Christmas all.
To important things about the manger.
I just heard somewhere that “swaddling clothes” were the used robes of the priest. It had some kind of important significance to wrap Jesus in swaddling clothes.
Rejoice!
A month and a half later, Rush was dead. RIP, my friend…
Merry Christmas to all here. Consider Jesus. Stop…and consider Jesus.
Merry Christmas to everyone! We really dodged a bullet in November thanks to President Trump who not only fought ferociously but also had the foresight to enlist the assistance of Elon Musk and Robert F Kennedy, Jr.
Merry Christmas Sundance. Thank you for all you do for us at CTH. Kudos also to Menagerie, Adrem & other admins. May all Treepers have a blessed Christmas. CTH is the best tree in the forest.
Merry Christmas Sundance and treepers. ♥️🎄
Sundance, you are the blessing.
Not sure where we would all be without this place of refuge.
Thank you so much for everything you have done and are doing.
May God bless you and keep you safe and well.
Blessed Christmas, Sundance … and to all who travel together with us. God love you.
Thank you Sundance and all for the sacrifices you make all year for me and all Treepers. I am truly grateful to know the truths you bring forth that I would otherwise not know, and Treepers, that you for the part you contribute also. Have a blessed Christmas and may all have a happy and healthy 2025✝️💕🙏🏻
Merry Christmas, Sundance! And Merry Christmas to Menagerie, Ad Rem, and the whole CTH crew! I am genuinely thankful to have access to the news and insights you publish here and for the often interesting (and troll-free) comment sections.
Want a little bit of fun on Christmas? Read the article below, bookmark it, and print it out.
Tomorrow at Christmas dinner, when your leftist cousin, or your know-it-all Uncle Bert, as they do every year, begin pontificating that Christmas was just a pagan solstice holiday that was appropriated by early Christians, clear you throat, announce that someone actually researched it and the whole pagan origins story is false, that Christmas actually came first. Then take out the article, pass it to your left, and ask that it be passed around the table and read (it’s short) by each person in turn. If you prefer the longer original article, I have included that as well.
Merry Christmas. And thank you for maintaining this place where we may gather and exchange ideas.

I am teaching my four young grandchildren the names of God. This week they learned that in Matthew 1:23 He is called Emmanuel: “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”
Always.
Merry Christmas to all who gather here.
I have personally not watched that vid all year as I knew I would fall apart, darn you snuck it in unawares. Of course now I can’t see and I miss him as much today. Yes, Merry Christmas to all treepers and families and may 25 be the year we hope it can be.
I can hear Linus repeating those very lines. Merry Christmas.
Sundance
Thank you for all your Wisdom Love and truth. Wishing you and your family a Very Merry Christmas

Thank you, Sundance and Merry Christmas, to you.
Beautiful description of the meaning of the message of “Merry Christmas”. Merry Christmas to you Sundance and all Treepers.
A Merry Christmas to Sundance, all Treepers and your families. May the new year bring us the much-needed change and a bright future.
Merry Christmas to all!
Merry Christmas, Sundance and fellow Treepers.🙏😇🎄
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you, Sundance, and to the entire Last Refuge team.
Take some credit for the way the 2024 election turned out. Many folks are here now, away from the screaming banshee’s of MSM.
You bring truth and light.
Merry Christmas Sundance. Thank you for all you do in educating us and keeping us informed over these many years. May God bless you and keep you and your loved ones in the coming year. And may God bless PDJT!❤️
I love the expression of “Merry Christmas “ as opposed to the bland “Happy Holidays “. And I thank Trump for emphasizing that very thing!!!
“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”
Amazing grace!
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
Was blind, but now I see.
’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed.
Through many dangers, toils, and snares,
I have already come;
’Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.
The Lord has promised good to me,
His Word my hope secures;
He will my Shield and Portion be,
As long as life endures.
Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun forbear to shine;
But God, who called me here below,
Will be forever mine.
When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we’d first begun.
~John Newton
Merry Christmas, everyone!
My Grandmother loved this song sung a cappella. But then she was Primitive Baptist and they don’t (and never have) allow musical instruments inside the church.
Musical instruments are PROUD. And so are flowers on the grave except at the funeral.
Merry Christmas everyone, be safe , be blessed.
