Johnson has turned out to be nothing but an incompetent two-faced lying scumbag whose staff is just as incompetent and as dishonest as he is. Johnson has to go so that honest and competent Republican leadership can take over, leadership which is palatable to both MAGA and GOPe Republicans.
Here is a bold suggestion. Why not put JD Vance in as Speaker of the House for the first eighteen months of President Trump’s term?
JD Vance would serve simultaneously as Vice President of the United States, as President of the Senate, and also as Speaker of the House. His House staff would be working very closely with Trump’s D.O.G.E. staff to push the MAGA agenda forward.
Under the constitution’s 25th Amendment, the Speaker of the House is second in line for assention to the presidency after the Vice President. Unless I’m mistaken, if a JD Vance term as Speaker of the House lasts less than two years, nothing in the constitution would prevent him from being limited in his future presidential aspirations by the 22nd Amendment.
