Yes. What has enabled the leftists to move our country so far left, has been the active and passive complicity of the RINOS controlling the GOP.

WHY would he do that? Because he and leadership were aware of the growing dissasitisfaction of the Republican base, and feared if that was turned into political action, by voting out the RINOS in party leadership positions, they could lose control.
Or, if these people started an actual new, “3rd party” which could pose a serious threat to them.
Far better to have these disatisfied voters register as “Indies” which would mean they could not attend, much less vote at State Conventions to oust the RINOS.
And, as there is no “Independant party” with a shared platform of policies they agree to promote, no party structure from precict to district to county, state and National, no slates of candidates all running on the agreed upon platform,..they politically neutered themselves, or disarmed if you prefer.
Without a political party, party platform, etc. you have NO political power, and thats what the RINOS wanted.
And, not only is Independants much easier to say than “voters not affiliated with any party” or even “unaffiliated voters”, everyone likes to see themselves as INDEPENDANT.

But, understanding just how much political power is wielded by the 50 State Republican party Executive Committees, register as a Republican, attend your precincts monthly party meetings, GET A COPY OF THE BYLAWS AND READ IT, if the people running the meetings are RINOS, call for a vote to replace them.
Right now is a great time, because right after an election is when attendance is lowest.
Take 100 MAGA patriots into the meeting, call for a vote, and replace RINO with MAGA. There are State conventions every two years, and before that there are County conventions.
The goal being to “primary” the State Party Executive Committee RINOS, and replace them with MAGAS.

For those of you impacted by Social Security the Wind Elimination Provision (WEP) and Government Pension Offset (GPO) … the US Senate HR 82 passed last night, which means both WEP and GPO have been repealed.
The TX retired Teachers Association Liaison sent a letter out last night with the announcement and also stated that benefit changes will be slow in coming as Social Security Benefit Recalculations have to be performed.
The good news is the repeal of WEP.
The bad news is the major risk and cost of double dipping that GPO prevented to some extent.
The other bad news is that eligibility criteria has been opened massively to allow Social Security to be a 100% Social Welfare program and not the earned benefit it was originally meant to be.
Also, nothing was done to stop Congress and executive branch from using the Social Security and Medicare funds as a source of a free loan for pet social welfare and other projects.
This is a pyric victory at best because is increases the desired rate of destruction of the original Social Security an Medicare Funds, driving them into insolvency and becoming a Government owned 1-size fits all social welfare fund.
ALL the PACS and retiree associations pushing for the WEP and GPO repeal left out ALL the bad stuff and were either dupes or have no issue with the real final objective outcome.

You are correct. The bill, as always, is flawed. Instead of just correcting a legitimate problem that denied full benefits to those who had paid into/vested in both social security and a public pension plan, our congress critters had to throw in their typical bells and whistles that are very questionable and open up benefits to those who never paid in.
My disdain for our “representatives” grows by the day. Good thing I’m old.
The delay due to “recalculation” is a joke …. everybody impacted by WEP and GPO has a their Social Security Account Flagged during the application process and has a Statement of Benefits Notification Letter in their files.
My 7-year old grandson could adjust the benefits by reading the Notification Letters in the files that have the before and after numbers listed. NO recalculation needed.

When I applied for my pension a number of years ago, the state came up with a different monthy payout than I had, using their published formula. Their number was higher, which was fine with me, but their explanation for the discrepany included the phrase “magic multiplier” and some gibberish about an adjustement made at some point in my 12 year tenure which impacted a handful of state employees, me being one of them.
In the government world, 2 plus 2 NEVER equals 4.

And yet, no one addressed the sunsetting of the provision that spouses of social security recipients will now only receive 71% of their deceased spouse’s social security instead of 100%. If you don’t turn 71 years old by January 1st, 2025, you are no longer going to get the full benefit.
To clarify, if you made a lot less than your spouse, (like staying home for years with the kids) when your spouse died you then got his or her amount INSTEAD OF yours. It helps the widowed spouse a bit. Now, it has been reduced to 75% minus even more reductions figured in. This means many SS recipients who retired in their 60’s who counted on that money if they ended up being the surviving spouse are now not going to get the full benefit. It was the law for 25 years, and now poof-it is gone-without a single word from anyone addressing Social Security reductions.
Yep … I have followed that reduction in survivor benefit via our on-line accounts for the past 15+ years.
These are not a new reductions but ones that keep growing as the Government purposely continues to wreck the benefit system, they created. Once the system is fully insolvent and the government assumes control … it will become a 1-size fits all welfare program with me ans testing reducing even earned benefit payouts for those who actually planned for their retirement and earn too much money outside social security.
Once had a social security case worker, during our visit to the local office in McKinney, TX … who was a naturalized citizen … who barely spoke English .. tell me I did not deserve my benefits because I earn too much.
Although to be fair … the folks I have encountered on 4 different phone calls were pretty good and even helpful.

It does NOT give benefits to 3 million people that did not pay Social Security! The bill is overwhelmingly BIPARTISAN, and it does NOT cut anyone’s benefits.
The 3 million referenced paid into BOTH Social Security AND a public pension fund during their working careers. They have not received their full earned benefit from SS because of the Windfall refuction.
Their’s an arguement to be had whether other provisions in the bill are legit, but on this particular point let’s at least get the facts correct.

Elon Musk is supposed to be increasing government efficiency. I have been hearing this as what I wanted, but it’s not. What I want is limited government, which would increase America’s efficiency. I don’t want a government that’s trying to imprison me, to do it more efficiently.

Financial Rebellion points out how the elites are wanting real property to put their money into, and how the government has been mapping natural resources in the US. So now the government appears to be facilitating land grabs for land that the people on it didn’t realize was valuable in natural resources. So that appears to the be source of money they are currently eyeing.
But they can’t take resources from people who actually own things, so they want digital control of non-elites to make sure we don’t fully own anything. The effort to digitally control us non-elites has been hobbled by popular reaction against central bank digital currency, but there are other ways to skin the cat.
Elon Musk is talking about getting rid of people in the government. But is that because he wants to replace them with technology? The bureaucrats are just a symptom of the real problem, which is government overregulation and overreach. If the federal government is not driven back within its Constitutional grounds, replacing bureaucrats with technology (conveniently sold by Musk, Ellison, Thiel, Bezos, etc.) makes the problem far worse. In the brave new technology world, if your account gets shut down, there isn’t even a stupid person to complain to, just a maze of AI which even at its best never understands the concept of special circumstances.

If found to be correct, this explanation has serious implications for mRNA vaccine safety and the more than 1 billion people who received mRNA Covid doses.
To be clear, the finding does not provide definitive proof of genetic integration, or what researchers call “transfection.” For that, researchers must extract DNA from human cells and find the genetic sequences the vaccine delivers. How frequently the spike protein is appearing and whether the levels might have clinically significant consequences are also unclear.
The researchers have reported finding spike protein on conference calls with participants in their study in October and again this week. Two people independently told Unreported Truths of the study’s findings.
They researchers discussed publishing the findings with at least one major peer-reviewed journal, a person with direct knowledge of those discussions said. The journal declined.
The scientists now plan to publish the findings very soon on a unreviewed “pre-print” server so that other researchers and members of the public can see them and discuss their implications. They also intend to send samples to an independent lab for validation, though they do not believe they’re mistaken.

Because she knows damn well that it is only the voluntary delegation of administration of justice to those who we elect and are appointed that keeps it in that place and that we, the people, can revoke that delegation either individually or as a body politic any time we’d like and if we do there is exactly nothing Hochul or anyone else can do about it. She knows damn well there is utterly no way to determine in advance who will get pissed off enough to do this sort of thing and there never will be any way to figure it out in advance.
Well, ok, that’s not entirely true: They — meaning the government — can still prosecute those who do so once they act (or if they’re dumb enough to threaten it first.) Whoopie do; the best they can achieve if the person is not stupid and thus issues no threats first is make the scoreboard even because said person already got their score on the board.
