It really nauseates me to think he’s the senator from my state. It isn’t surprising how he got elected with all the vote corruption in the state, but even factoring that out, he probably still wins.

My family left England for Colorado in the 1890s. Four generations were born and raised there. It WAS a great state; a reliance on God, conservative ideals, and we possessed a spirit of self-reliance.

The next four years must be the time to nationally legislate that anyone voting in Federal elections must have a valid Voter ID, that mail-in ballots are only for deployed military personnel, and that paper ballots are required and electronic systems are illegal. The electoral votes should not be counted for any state failing to implement those guidelines.

Your sentiment about Steve Garvey mirrors my thoughts about his campaign. I didn’t know he was running for the Senate until I got my ballot. Even so, I thought he might have had a chance, especially with the Dodgers making L.A. proud during that same time and Schiff being so creepy and destestable.

I used to respect Jim Jordon. Then it seemed to me (after Sundance pointed it out in several instances with the most vocal congressmen) that a lot of his very impressive appearing inquisitions were too good. So good they looked more staged than like hard investigative work. And very little seemed to come out of his work.
The biggest thing I respect about him is that he is a college wrestler. That requires character. But the fruits of his labor seem more for show than for real patriotic and effect.
