President Trump notes, “Can this really be happening without our government’s knowledge. I don’t think so!” via his Truth Social account. And of course, the simplicity of calling out a nonsense fear narrative doesn’t fit the PERT chart.
CTH previously noted the absurdity of the story narratives around these “drones.” Of course, the U.S. military know what these drones are and exactly what they are about.
Occam’s Razor applied essentially links back to this press release from 2023:

Under the terms of the Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA), the parties will cooperatively develop a prototype dual-use U.S. East Coast test and evaluation corridor for the demonstration, development, and evaluation of military, commercial, academic, and Federal Government UAS and AAM technologies with future application to strategic airlift capabilities of the U.S. Air Force.
UASs are often referred to as drones, while AAM involves the use of electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft to move people and cargo between places not easily served by other modes of transportation. Both UAS and AAM technologies are being developed rapidly by government and military agencies and private industry and the testing corridor will help to safely integrate them into the national airspace.
The availability of the UAS/AAM evaluation corridor between Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBMDL) in New Jersey and Dover AFB in Delaware allows AMC and USTRANSCOM to rapidly assess technical and operational concepts for UAS and AAM, and to develop measures of value in operational scenarios. What makes the designated airspace a “dual use” corridor is that the CRADA facilitates the launching and landing of civilian craft from non-DOD sites within the corridor, including the NARTP. Many of the tests and experiments envisioned would only be possible with a dedicated corridor. (read more)

Speaking of logic: I haven’t seen a single post questioning a much, much larger problem (were it true).
An Iranian launch platform for multiple drones simply steamed its way into coastal/near coastal waters, launched swarms of drones, and no systems (hint: underwater) detected the ship or the launches? You betcha!
Were one so disposed, there are also apps that can be used that depict exactly where “free space” volumes of space are located geographically as well as restricted areas. Drone sitings can be correlated to these volumes of space – at least for the drones that conform to hw/sw that reports positional information.
Sidebar: many of these drones can be pre-programmed with the equivalent of flight plans (i.e., they do not have to be manually controlled; the flight plan can account for restricted areas) and emergency logic that returns them to homeplate.
You don’t REALLY think they are Iranian drones – or unknown drones for that matter – do you?

There’s a whole airspace structure and control authority for flying in domestic and international airspace. It’s obviously there for safety of flight. It also has less obvious consequences. A/C carry transponders that can be interrogated for an assigned identifier and altitude. Various control authoriities (popularized in films like Pushing Tin) also employ long and short range air (and ground) radars the returns for which (along with metadata) are displayed.
These transponders, obviously, can be turned off by aircrew in the cockpit.

Remember the inflamed Congressional debates whenever it is was (during the Obama admin I think) vis requirements for drones in controlled airspace and transponders? Free space areas have a 400 foot AGL ceiling. I see the things not infrequently at the golf course.
Creativity is the only limiter. Google Maps, for example, can be coded to add all sorts of information objects (i.e., the predominant use for drones has been for aerial photography). I imagine TV shows like Aerial America (Smithsonian streamer) use drones.
Read an article on abcPhila site earlier today & was was struck by the similarity of statements made today by Gov. Hochul & Gov. Murphy. They’re both sticking their chests out, talking tough, blah, blah, blah. And then, Hochul specifically addresses the “need” for Congress to pass the “Counter-UAS Authority, Safety, and Reauthorization Act”. Further down in the article, Murphy claims to be so angry that he “may just go down to DC himself & get some answers…including, why legislation that gives more power to the state & local officials to investigate the recent drone sightings hasn’t been passed”.🤔

Does this explain the drones currently being seen in SE PA? The press release mentioned only NJ. If it’s not secret then why does the DOD pretend to know nothing about it?
Folks, I’m surrounded. My son-in-law had seen videos on line, but I asked if he wanted to go outside with me to see some with his own eyes and he said sure. Overcast skies – perfect conditions. We are in SE PA. Looking out front we immediately could see 7. The more we looked, the more we saw, mostly pretty far up. And yes, we were looking in the direction of south-central New Jersey.
Then we walked to the back of the house, facing west. There appears to be a defined flight path in that direction, going from south to north, and they were flying much lower there, about a minute apart. There were also other drones, just sitting up there, much farther away. The more you stare at the sky, the more you see. When I take a picture of one and telescope it closer more become visible. This is the case all evening long. What the heck? We are not in the corridor mentioned above.
Interesting. I saw 2 possible drones tonight at 5:30. They could also have been planes with similar lights that were on an unusual flight path. The odd thing is that that was it. I’ve been outside off and on all evening and can’t believe I’ve seen nothing else unusual. UUUge difference from last night, which I wrote about above.
I was intrigued by the comment made by then President-elect Donald Trump in late 2016 when he met with Obama at the White House. PDJT commented that they had a cordial meeting and discussed many subjects including some high-flying assets. I still remember this comment and to this day I do not know what he was referring to either directly or indirectly.

If their goal is to create mass hysteria in order to bring in “their solution”- more takeaways on our Constitutional freedoms, they are barking up the wrong tree. Many people think these drones are a spying/ attack system the government is testing to be used against Americans in the future. It’s hardly likely the populace is going to support their schemes. Some say a false flag is in the works- such as a dirty bomb deployed by “terrorists.” Or perhaps the DS will go for a drone attack on Trump. He stated yesterday he is cancelling his trip to Bedminster because of all the “mysterious” drone activity there. Trump knows what this is but he is not allowed to say. Given the betrayals within the Secret Service and the full-on attacks against him by the Biden regime and their crooked DA’s/courts, he surely doesn’t trust what the latter are up and could be planning near one of his residences.
Question: If Biden preemptively pardons all the criminals in the Democrat Crime Syndicate, will the DS still need to try to prevent Trump from being inaugurated? My answer is yes. Even if there wasn’t the fear Trump will go after these criminals for accountability for their crimes during the past 8 years, he is an obstacle to their international goals. He will not go along with the plan to destroy the US and empower China as the global leader. Keep praying for President Trump’s protection.
So grateful for this info – an actual agreement from June 2023. If funding for this drone research is provided by U.S. taxpayers via congress, why in the actual blazes cannot the relevant committee members provide clarity to the public of what is happening? noting: while I cannot discuss details or even openly admit programs are operating, what I can do is speculate…
speculation: around 2019 the US military (DOD) ordered several prototypes contracts for about a dozen different UA platforms. Drones. Some fully autonamous, some semi…One particular military branch ordered a well known helicopter manufacturer that was already developing long flight long loiter quadcopters with a feasibility study. this study would develop a prototype that could be used for force protection. Force protection is a fancy term to describe how to protect troops, facilities, ports, operations command installations, communications centers, and other assets regarded as foundational to national security. The other agency also interested in development of UA vehicle was the new Space Force, which was interested in high altitude long loiter vehicles that could be used as a sort of mesh network routing system for communications…(fixed ground stations are difficult to manage and to staff at all times and these are known targets to our enemies…non fixed high altitude fliers that allow for networking comms is a means to offset that risk).
In order to establish the feasibility of these special programs is it necessary to fly them operationally. And to conduct how they might interoperate in a local region. You can’t do this in some secret hideaway in the Pacific or out in the desert in order to fully express the operational conditions they would be expected to operate.
What you are observing is a large scale operational mission to demonstrate and to progress work on UA vehicles as a means to do lots of very important things. I cannot dismiss the notion that these might be used in ways that threaten citizens…that is to surveil you and me. That could be taking place, but it is also true that it”s not really necessary or even convenient to do that in this manner given there are far more effective and efficient means to track you in real time. And that does happen. The sweeping vacuuming and analysis of movement, comms and what you do with your money is certainly a known thing. And that isn’t targeting you specifically. It’s everyone, all the time, non stop. That does happen. To fly drones in an area does not improve or enhance that capabilities. But what these drones are designed to do, is to ensure a reliable highly survivable fleet of inter networked aerial platforms that can perform in all weather, all condition conditions, in areas where there is great interest in protecting very important assets that are foundational to national security.

I am currently working a sub program within this larger contract for a well known aerospace company. This company is commissioned to retrofit certain kinds of manned aircraft that are used to surveil specifically the Mexican border. Some of the equipment is classified and cannot be discussed. Some of the missions are well known and these are expected to increase at the very moment that President Trump takes his oath. Some of these aircraft have already been built and are operational. We go to the next phase upgrades in the new year and this will give our drivers the most capable information gathering law enforcement systems that they have ever used before and allows them to concentrate on safe flying and less on operating the surveillance package. That is the goal and we have achieved this in spades. This is the larger big picture shift in law enforcement and special programs for the military: in instances where human pilots must operate, we free them up to concentrate on flight safety…we reduce the flight deck load. In instances where we can replace the human being completely with auto or semi auto (remote), we implement that. Currently this program has achieved a fully operational fully autonomous helicopter with the same surveillance and tracking package and has flown hundreds of missions. Our contract is to build about 100 of these expressly for border security.
We have the tools. And now we have the right leadership.
Soon our borders will be properly locked down. illegals caught and stopped. Consequently the expectation is that the border will become a hot zone far more dangerous than it has ever been.

I would only add fol: all of this is part of a natural (“logical”) progression that has been in play for a long, long time. Like yourself, some of my career path intersected with all of this – from aviation, cyber, operational picture perspectives. Since at least the 1950s, there has been a top down trajectory in all of this – integrating various physical and information systems into Ballistic Missile defense and strategic command and control “situational awareness” systems. As chip capabilities, communications, digitization of information and network centric warfare concepts evolved in the 1990s all of this (i.e., R&D) followed a predictable path.
There has been a fascinating (to some at least) sidebar to much of this – at least in the military. Drones have advantages and disadvantages. A ferocious debate has been warred in the military Services vis the manned/unmanned aspect of all of this (in the cockpit; specifically in combat) that dovetails into decision-making, rules of engagement and a host of other issues.
Another thing to bear in mind. Were one to look at the engines and space on these drones available in public web sites (with varying degrees of accuracy), one could surmise fairly quickly generalizations vis capacity and weight limitations for the systems actually hosted and consequent flight profile limits. I was amazed at how political these allocations became and how fast/high they rose to senior decision-makers to intercede in order to reduce the squabbling amongst the kids.

Just a hunch based on what I’ve read so far is that with the “pivot to China”, they’re accelerating this program and doing large scale operational testing, maybe the AI and other systems and functionalities, working from offshore, going back and forth. Check out the “TWR” just offshore outside the international line on this link below. Be sure to click the “U” button at the top right to filter out commercial air traffic. Then drag the map and zoom in to the area offshore of Delaware. Yesterday there were three of these beacons. At this time, there are only two. They are coded as US military. My guess is that they’re navigational beacons or for comms or whatever and related to this program.

There is a heavy Naval presence on the east coast, especially from Virginia up to Massachusetts. It makes sense that the mysterious drones would just be the Navy playing with some new toys. They could have just said so instead of going into histrionics about motherships and fleets of enemy bots. Maybe that was the training scenario.
