The new electoral college of Georgia have elected a new president, Mikheil Kavelashvili who was running as the head of the Georgian Dream Party.
Of the 300 deputies, 224 voted for him.
He is a former football player.
In 2016, he became a member of parliament of the ruling Georgian Dream party, but in the summer of 2022 he left the party and founded the Power of the People organization.
It was this organization that initiated the adoption of the law on foreign agents in 2023, which led to a sharp cooling of relations between the Georgian government and the West and gave rise to talk about the beginning of Georgia’s turn towards Russia.
He is a harsh critic of the opposition and its actions, calling them “inspired by the West” with the aim of “Ukrainizing Georgia” and “drawing the country into a war with the Russian Federation.”

If there is one major shift that I see, it’s that the uni-party no longer bothers with pretending. To them, the consent of the masses isnt a concern anymore. Maintaining the optics of democracy, which mattered so much in years past, no longer sways them.
It seems like they have made a big mistake. The masses can still be swayed. Ignoring the results of an election to establish a shadow resistance within the goverment is a thumb in the eye to the public.

It seems the US Government is deliberately hyping the drone reports so I tried to figure out why. One guess is they are causing it with a secret program and have briefed President-elect Trump hoping he will hint, or blurt out what is going on. This would be the release of classified information and since Trump is not president yet, he cannot de-classify. They will then use this as an excuse to cripple his administration. Similar to what they did with Michael Flynn.
More likely they will attack us and blame Iran, so they can commence WWIII on schedule before the Inauguration. Just like they orchestrated the 9/11 attack and then blamed Iraq.
