There are other assets in the background as well, but the woman who is Lady of the House of certain real estate which she often gets in the divorce has a very important asset. She loved her home, as far as I can tell for all of the right reasons. It was graceful, beautiful, and also her home, as well as being the envy of all. She needed some financial support to keep it up, keep the parties up, keep placing The Grand Hostess and all that. Mr. Worm with money weaseled his way in, and soon they were putting on the grand parties together. His handy few hundred thousands of repairs and upkeep got him co-owner of a multi-million dollar piece of prime real estate. Once she realized that he was still running around on her, waiting for her to die and leave him her home, and that she couldn’t afford to divorce him, she turned into a seriously angry drunk. I kind of sympathized with her and secretly suspected the alcohol was just a cover to publicly say what she thought of him — hoping he would leave. It was a nice house … Watched this played out several times.

I enjoyed the meal, but man were they eccentric in their thoughts and values, they are Trump/MAGA people. They want to be w/the commoners, yet are afraid and guarded. The world of “high fashion” has been gunning for women to look like harlots waiting outside the Lincoln Tunnel for decades. This started back in the 80s when the gays completely took over the fashion industry in NYC. I always thought it was their misogynistic joke, but women fell for it and complied accordingly. As long as it has the designer label that’s all that matters to some. Christian women usually don’t go for this look. In the billionaire playground scene it is probably the thing. Happens world over, but WHEN are career diplomats who spend their life in diplomacy going to become preferred candidates over bimbos like this who are clearly removed to another country simply so they can’t make a public scene which might embarrass a senior politician. I mean we’re talking about a country to country relationship taking back seat to a minor fracas or inconvenient headline that blows over in a few days.

Ambassadors are always appointed base upon political or financial support. And who cares – the career foreign service officers are globalist loving, partisan Democrats who hate Donald Trump, his voters, most Americans.
The career diplomats will still be running the show. The “courtesy” Ambassadors are basically a payoff, a thank you for either very substantial financial contributions or personal friendships. (I knew of one insignificant appointment Clinton gave to a college roommate.). Usually, the “courtesy” appointment has plenty of money and the ability to host countless gatherings, rarely doing any of the everyday grunt work involved in maintaining a working overseas office….and in most cases, that suits everyone involved. An astute Ambassador
will report back to the State Department any undercurrents within the host country, or pass along messages outside regular channels .
Although it was quite a surprise, she will do just fine for the year or so she’ll be there and it more or less solves a somewhat awkward situation within the family dynamics.

Call me old-fashion, but I get a little suspicious of someone who is taking a selfie in every photo shown and even more provocatively undressed than Kimberly. Having experienced the fringe Palm Beach society in years pass, this woman is a piranha and knows exactly what she’s doing in snagging Jr.
Unless they are gun running Ambassadors that end up dead, then it isn’t a fun frilly socialite job.
I fail to see how any of us may be impacted. If not KG, someone else would be selected to serve as Greece’s ambassador. Did the President choose her over someone better suited for the position?
I really despise “palace intrigues”, but the comparisons to Hunter Biden are inappropriate, in my opinion. I don’t recall Jr. making any compromises on drug use, orgies, influence peddling, corruption, and so forth. Of course, the Left will have a field day with this, but I refuse to participate.
I see that the issues here will be Donald Jr. and how he influences his father, but I can only hope and pray that President Trump makes sound decisions based on what is best for our country; I refuse to see him as a puppet being tricked.

I was not at all surprised by this. I was just waiting for the hammer to fall.
Go back and look at the body language between Jr & KG on stage when PT won the election. Jr could get far enough away from her. He was closer to his ex-wife. KG was practically unnoticable off in the back on the right side. Also at the RNC convention, as PT entered to sit in his seat, she was in the second-row catty-corner to his seat. As PT walked down the aisle to his seat, he acknowledged everyone but her. I re-played that tape back and re-watched it several times. It was a definite and intentional stand-off situation.
The body language between Jr & KG has been noticeably bad for a long time in the few events she was around.
Jr now has a pattern – he dumps women (or vice versa) after elections (’16 & ’24). Weird but that’s his M.O. thus far.
She never quite fit in with the Trumps. Remember Tiffany’s wedding picture of the Trump women all lined up? In re-postings of it, they cut her out of the photo. Everyone was in pretty pastel dresses and she was in a black dress at the end of the line. Stuck out like a sore thumb. Totally inappropriate.
And of course, there was the issue of totally hanging out and flaunting her big chest in every dress she wore. It was her signature dress style. She never fit in with that family. No class, but then Jr. CHOSE her. Says a lot about him. It was obvious from the start this would run its course in due time.
I don’t take Jr seriously but many do.

I remember seeing one video where Don Jr. treated her the way barry treated Joey. They were at some post media interview. Another video I saw her trying to direct Jr. where to sit and he brushed her off. It must be horrible to have a relationship in a very public life.
It was obvious to me that something was wrong at the RNC Convention. Don didn’t appear overly enthusiastic after KG’s speech. I got the impression then that something was unseemly there and boded ill.
After reading thru I realize, again, how blessed my wife and I are. Kids are married and happy, grandkids, decent schools, great circles of friends with positive influences on the grandkids. I’m thankful we do not have a Don Jr type…

Don Jr has 5 kids with his ex wife. Why did that break up?
He is in his late 40’s. He is wealthy and near power through his dad.
He has never accomplished much on his own merit. Not such a happy life but not too uncomfortable.
Early in President Trump’s first term, Vanessa opened a letter for Don Jr. (they were married) and there was white powder in it and a note that Don Jr. was going to die; I believe the note said that it was anthrax. She was rushed to a hospital and put into isolation; the powder was tested and came back negative for anthrax, though I believe it took a while.
This scared Vanessa a LOT! She said that she kept going over and over in her mind that she might never see her kids, again. I read a statement that she posted about this, as she thanked the Secret Service, first responders, and medical personnel.
Within days to two weeks of that, Don Jr. and Vanessa decided to separate. Vanessa’s fear of what insane people might do to her and/or her kids was the reason. Her husband’s name was out there and he was a lightning rod for freaks. He was in your face with these people and threats were coming left and right.
When they separated, friends commented that the one longtime struggle they did have in their marriage was that Don wasn’t around much; he was always traveling for work (as he was in charge of international deals for the Trump Organization).
Don and Vanessa agreed to an amicable split and to work together for their kids and never fight over them. The judge praised them when he did the divorce settlement about how they both spoke very highly of each other as parents and worked together for their children. The divorce and custody settlement was sealed for privacy. Vanessa moved to Florida and Don did, too. Her family had recently come into a lot of money, as her father passed away. She chose a peaceful life with her kids out of the limelight. They say that she was always uncomfortable in the public eye.
Vanessa is close to President Trump and his family. Her eldest daughter, Kai told Martha MacCallum that the first assassination attempt on President Trump (when he was shot at a rally) was really hard on her younger siblings and her mom. Don Jr. was sitting next to Kai when she said that and I saw him take notice. If he didn’t know already, he realized how much Vanessa still loved his family–and not just their kids.
I’m socially conservative and was raised that way. In my opinion, Kim Guilfoyle dresses in a horrible fashion. Her plastic surgery and/or lip treatments are AWFUL! People can age gracefully; they don’t have to look so unnatural. 🙁

Donald Trump has always been good to his ex’s and for his kids ex’s as well. He is just carrying on with family tradition as Kimberly was looking a little ragged and it was inevitable that Don Jr would be moving on just like dear old Dad at some point.

Greece is an interesting choice, and a potential hot spot coming up during Trump’s term. The hatred between Turkey and Greece is well-documented, and Erdogan is likely to be a major problem as the incoming administration has to tackle the middle east being on fire at the moment. Not to mention the issue of Russia and the southern flank.
Love her or hate her, Guilfoyle’s been part of the Trump inner circle, and certainly seems to know how to dance around the big dogs. I’m wondering if there’s more to her appointment than meets the eye?
When I went to Greece and Turkey in the mid 90s thanks to the USN I and the crew were told to not bring up either country while we were there. BTW I liked Greece better.

My first thought as well. Gets her out of Junior’s hair. I don’t have the same idealistic objections some here seem to have. Presidents have been returning favors by appointing campaign donors and friends as embassadors forever. Nothing new. They are largely just figureheads anyway, going to parties and such. The real international work is done by the station chief there for the agency which must not be named.
