President Trump doesn’t operate that way. He doesn’t care about those things, he cares about qualifications, honesty, integrity, and merit.
We all have a lot of baggage. I have more concerns about who President Trump will pick, and to what degree they are owned by the silent masters behind the scenes, than probably any other issue post election. But he isn’t going to get a perfect dream team, and yes, there will be some rotten apples in the barrel.
If American citizens do not stay absolutely engaged and active, loud, demanding, in contact with Congress forcefully, he won’t be as effective as he needs to be. In his first term, even his loyal supporters for the most part just expected this one man to change the world all by himself. People stood by and expected him to do all the heavy lifting without our engagement, as if showing up for elections was all we needed to do.
I hope Americans have learned a lesson in the last four years about engagement and holding politicians so accountable they learn to fear us. And we can also teach them that lesson by teaching corporations, organizations, school boards, etc what their limits are.
Again, will we reach that ideal level? No, but we can get better. And we must.

While I have no objection to removing certain additives with no food value from the food supply, as long as actual data backs up the danger or even very likely potential danger, I hope the MAHA movement does not descend to this, people in Congress signing letters about a particular substance.

There are additives in our food products that are causing major health problems. I want those to at least be investigated and if they are bad, they should be removed. Perhaps Congress doesn’t need to intervene. Maybe public pressure will force companies to make better decisions.

Later when I gave him dye-free cough syrup there were no problems.

So, why do I think the targets of the Deep State/Blob have changed over the years?
