I find it very interesting amid all of our current discussions unattached to the events in New York City, that ‘facial recognition technology‘ appears to be the investigative emphasis to find the gunman who killed UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on December 4th.
From the latest information, the assassin arrived in New York City on November 24, traveling from Atlanta, Georgia, to New York City by bus. Ten days later the unknown gunman executed his mission. New York police have some evidence from the trail of the gunman as they track his travel into and then out of the area. {Developments Here}
The evidence includes CCTV security images of the gunman checking in to a hostel, using a fake New Jersey ID, paying cash. The police also located a water bottle purchased from a local Starbucks and a cell phone retrieved from the area where the gunman fled. If the assassin was a professional, the physical evidence could be purposeful, meaning dropped intentionally.
With this much time to distance himself from the area, it will be challenging for investigators to locate him, even if they are able to come up with a solid identification. And with that background, again we go into the world of ‘facial recognition software’ as a tool to identify a bad guy. Strange coincidence. Hmmm?

The killer entered New York City by bus on Nov. 24, when a surveillance camera at Port Authority Bus Terminal caught his arrival at 9 p.m., law enforcement sources told ABC News.
The inbound bus originated in Atlanta but it was not immediately clear where the suspected boarded. Sources told ABC News he was spotted on board in Washington, D.C.
Police are investigating whether the suspect left New York City by bus on Wednesday after the murder. The 10-day period he was in New York City before the shooting is the focus of investigative efforts.
Police have collected video of the suspect all over the city, including in the subway, in cabs and in a McDonald’s, sources told ABC News. In each place, he paid with cash and he made sure to keep his mask on, which indicates to detectives he knew he was coming to New York City to commit the murder, sources said.
Police were able to find a surveillance image of the suspect without his face mask on because he was flirting with the woman who checked him into a hostel on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, police sources said.
As he stood at the check-in desk, the sources said the woman asked to see his smile. The shooter obliged, pulling down his mask long enough for the surveillance camera to capture his face.
Police have determined the suspect checked into the hostel using a New Jersey license that wasn’t his own, police sources told ABC News.
The masked gunman shot Thompson at point-blank range at 6:44 a.m. Wednesday outside the New York Hilton Midtown, where Thompson was heading for his company’s investors conference.
“The shooter then walks toward the victim and continues to shoot,” NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said. “It appears that the gun malfunctions, as he clears the jam and begins to fire again.”
Written on the shell casings were the words “deny,” “defend” and “depose,” according to police sources.

Something to ponder is that a family, or sister, or mother, who lost coverage due to the Pull back on payouts, or drops could well trigger the old eye for an eye. There’s a couple of other aspects to this story I find interesting.
The DOJ was investigating “UHC for its potential anticompetitive effects” and are reportedly investigating Thompson for “potential insider trading”, which they claim occurred Feb of this year. Incidentally, Feb(24) was same month UHC experienced the largest healthcare hacking in the country. That breach was supposedly done by “someone using stolen credentials by remote access”.

A report stated that there was a protest outside UHC Minnesota headquarters a couple of months ago. A coffin, supposedly representing the dead who were denied coverage, was paraded during protest.
The protest was organized by the People’s Action Institute which is an umbrella org with left wing activists funded by Soros’ OSI.

How would anyone know where the CEO would be on that day? Someone had to have inside knowledge of either his schedule, or knew the meeting was taking place with him present.

The killer appears, by the clues the cops have offered, to be not as bright as they first depicted him as a professional hit man…far from it. Call me crazy, but when I looked at the first photo I immediately thought that was a woman. Upon closer inspection, I’m even more convinced. The pronounced cheek bones, ample lips, unmistakable swell of bosoms under the jacket, narrow shoulders and the slender pale hairless left wrist bent limply at 90 degrees while smiling and showing perfect teeth at the counter of what I am assuming is the check-in desk at the hostel. Not manly at all, and very different from the second photo at the same location, presumably taken by the same camera.
In the 2nd maskless photo contained in the imbedded video it does look more manly, with what appears to be some facial stubble, with the backpack on (no backpack in 1st photo), wider face, broader shoulders, different color jacket (green vs tan) and the backpack has black straps. Why would the 2nd photo differ so much from the 1st when ostensibly taken by the same camera seconds later?
In the original video of the assassination which circulated widely, the victim is clearly wearing a blue sport coat and the shooter is wearing a green jacket with a tan backpack with tan straps. Also dark pants, darker than the jacket, and black shoes with WHITE soles. Again from the embedded MSN/ABC video, the short clip through a window of the suspected shooter walking up some stairs from the Subway 3 blocks from where the shooting took place, again with green jacket and tan backpack, looks to me like a woman’s gate.
The purported video of the shooter on an e-bike 20 min after the shooting looks like the same clothing as the shooter video, minus the backpack. The calm demeanor during the shooting, bullet casings with Deny, Defend and Depose, along with fake Jersey ID and the use of a silencer or suppressor, certainly makes it appear to be a professional job, meant to send a message or at least one carried out by an organization that the entrenched 4th branch would like to target. Why would an individual who is upset about a medical bill denial take the time to mark the casings? Why do the two mask-less pics differ so much? Looks to me like at least one is altered. Seems like more 4th branch shenanigan’s to me. That’s just my amateur opinion though.
He looks middle eastern, possibly Israeli. I’m guessing this has nothing to do with not covering a loved one.

the silencer is to not create unwanted attention. Have you ever been a city with tall buildings…? if you can reduce the dB by even 15, 30…even people just 50 feet way around a corner will never hear it.
and yes, this killer was taking his moment in a quiet corner with no one around… but also not taking any chances either.
apparently he has some kind of malfunction…readjusted within mere seconds (another tell of a skilled gunman), and did not hesitate to put a few more rounds into his mission.
this was not an angry obessive killing. If that, it would have been something like going to his home or starting a fire to his car, or using a knife.
this killer was very precise….and the use of a suppressor expressly identifies this along with the walk up to very close quarters before initiating…and the follow-up…those were not because the shooter considered the first rounds to be ineffective, but to ensure the job was finit.

That’s a pro hit …high order. Someone very important with lots of money wanted this guy dead. It’s probably an issue of a decision made that cost someone their lives…someone very important and attached to the contract issuer. A hit like this without any quotations (no memoriam, no hate letters, and no social tracks) speaks volumes. He did someone very wrong. That is not to suggest I believe in indiscriminate assassinations simply because of a feud…But the reality is that there some people who refuse to let linger a wrong.

It’s so hard to figure this one. Only the most uninformed believe that health insurance carriers purposely deny claims for covered services. For many expensive services, there are validation steps in place. Do you know why? Because our beloved providers milk every penny from every patient, as if they are a billing vehicle. Here are a few bits of information I was able to collect with about ten minutes of searching using the information released thus far, offered with my impressions. I’m no expert, but some of this makes me go, Hmmm.
Authorities believe the weapon used was a Brügger & Thomet VP9, which is a suppressed bolt-action 9Mm pistol made for veterinarians to put animals down without scaring nearby animals with a gunshot. There’s a good demonstration video of the pistol made by the manufacturer on youtube. What appears to be the shooter clearing jams in the video of the murder is probably him working the bolt for the next shot.
The VP9 seems like an odd choice for an assassination weapon, considering the availability of other firearms better suited for firing multiple rounds. It was reported that the pistol might have been acquired in Connecticut, which I find outlandish. Connecticut has some of the most restrictive gun laws in the nation. The assassin was allegedly in NYC for 10 days before the shooting, plenty of time to buy a gun on the street.
Why use a suppressor at all? I know the murder occurred on a public sidewalk at 6:45 a.m., but still, there were witnesses nearby. Think back to the scene in “The Godfather” where the mobsters are plotting the murders of another mobster and a policeman. They kept their pistol loud to scare away bystanders.
Thompson was hit in the back and the leg, unlikely targets for a professional assassin. No insurance round(s) in the head when the target was down. The shooter was lucky to kill Thompson, in my opinion.
The shooter wore a mask all over the city for 10 days but possibly left a water bottle, a candy wrapper, and a cell phone at or near the scene for authorities to find. He flashed his face once to a girl he was flirting with in his hotel, a big mistake for someone so cautious about his identity.
To me, all of this is points to a non-professional shooter. That’s IF, and that’s a big IF, the reported information is accurate.
I would say this: everything you just wrote is correct, IF the killer wanted to be known as rank amateur.
