When you go, click on the 10-year, realize that in 2020 Saylor, as the majority shareholder and CEO, decided to make the move to buying BitCoin as the reserve treasury asset. The first purchase was executed sometime in late-2020 I believe. The graph explains everything about the value of having BitCoin as a reserve treasury asset.
In the PBD interview Saylor explains how MSTR is good for bond holders, those long BitCoin and those short BitCoin. He explains why Trump’s possible plan to purchase BitCoin is very beneficial to the US — people outside US want to invest in BitCoin, if the US holds BitCoin then they’ll continue to buy our Treasury Notes as a way to gain some exposure to BitCoin <— the foreign money wants to chase BitCoin, this keeps it in US dollars which benefits us. Think of it as that money will go to BitCoin, why not it be our Treasury Notes. He also discusses the regulatory needs for the crypto space to help stabilize it.
Just know BitCoin is for moving money into the future and is best as a store of value and/or moving large sums of money once. Whereas cryptocurrencies are good as smaller exchanges many times a day. Let’s says there is a Sundance coin (a cryptocurrency). You would have some Sundance coin to buy coffee, flowers, gas, etc. The business owners would exchange the Sundance currency at the end of the day into BitCoin and store/move it. The currency is light weight, fast. BitCoin is a little slower, slight higher transaction cost (try buy-in a piece of property: there’s a cost to buying, selling an asset) and takes slightly longer but is a lot more secure. If you wanted to move a billion dollars once, you’d benefit from the security of BitCoin over say the Sundance coin (depending how it was structured).
I had no clue about BItCoin and cryptocurrency until I gained this foundation watching these interviews. It’s helped make sense and understand a lot.

President Trump, in defeating their latest Catch-22 trap, will not follow their unconstitutional rules but will make his own Constitutional Compliant rues for the Executive Branch that will Make-America-Great-Again.
President Trump won on 11/5/24 and his expectations are HIGH, HIGH, HIGH for America to recover its law & order, can-do Constitutional Compliant traditions, not just for one term but for a century after he leaves office.
