It was Trump, after all, who issued a flurry of pardons and commutations at the end of his first term and who signed into law the First Step Act, which ended thousands of sentencing disparities, shortened drug-related sentences, and gave thousands of former prisoners a second chance at a productive life.
· Seven prisoners who tested positive for drugs at the Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex earlier this year were given a choice of punishments, according to a recently-filed federal lawsuit. Warden David Green and six guards offered them the choices of either being tased or being forced to drink their own urine. The Kentucky State Department of Corrections responded that, well, at least they fired the guards.
· Clark County, Indiana had to pay $325,000 to 25 former county jail prisoners, both male and female, after Sheriff Jamey Noel admitted that he allowed guards to carry out something that they called a “Night of Terror,” where for $1,000 paid to the warden, they were allowed to take prisoners to isolated parts of the jail to rape them. Noel was fired, but for an unrelated embezzlement case. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison last month.

Ha! I had to spend a “few” days in jail in Orange County FL for a DUI charge in 2014.
Some of the jailers were busted for operating a “Fight Club” where they would take inmates with a beef on the streets or an issue inside the jail, haul them to a cell in a wing where the camera system was malfunctioning, lock them inside and watch them beat the tar out of each other while the jailers made bets on who would win.

I had 3 DUIs but thanks be to God, no one was ever hurt nor did I damage anything but my own vehicles. I gave up drinking on 1 – 1- 2000 so this coming New Year’s Day I will be sober 25 years.
Previous to these DUIs, I spent a whole year working as a State of Florida correctional officer at Lake Correctional in Mineola (Clermont) Florida. Guards routinely kept medications from inmates for their own amusement. Guards also, routinely, spread rumors that certain inmates were snitches just to watch inmates cower in fear. There were a host of other stunts they pulled like hiding the inmate mail.
The one meal most every prisoner longed for was fried chicken. It was a once a week treat that every inmate seemed to know not to miss that meal. The prison swat team had barbecues every month and they invited all their extended family so of course they ate the prisoner’s chicken.
At times, I didn’t know who was worse … the staff or the inmates? When I was on the perimeter I would have done my job and shot escaping inmates but I also followed Florida law to the letter. I never made an inmate’s life any worse than it was and I never broke rules to do them favors. I tried to set a good example to the inmates and encourage them.
It was the most depressing job of my life.

The for profit has been around a long time…I worked for a few in the past…also a state org…the lying cheating, sabotage is far worse amongst those employees…
And a slimy trick used by a few hospitals in northern end of So FL….
inebriated, stoned, semi conscious, high…etc…they would treat the person and ‘discharge’ them before they were sober or able to think clearly and take care of themselves..
…then hospital security, would arrest them for trespassing as they were not capable of walking out the door to the ER but were discharged and therefore had no reason to be there…(they would sit in the lobby, in a chair and go to sleep, not in control of their faculties)…..and wake up in handcuffs, in the back seat of a squad car. And be taken to the county jail.
And this, Chicago is not the only offender…and a bigger problem than known…

My last DUI stunt cost me 30 days in the Madison County, NC jail which is in Marshall, maybe the epicenter of the Hurricane Helene disaster? The jail was, at the time, almost a scene from the Andy Griffith Show. I was allowed outside unescorted at times because who would escape on a 3o days in the county jail sentence? The jailer’s wife did the cooking for the jail and it was much better than it had to be.

The jail that Fani Willis is responsible for in Fulton county, GA is horrendous. It is apparently where prisoners go to die, unnecessarily. The abuses there are rampant. A report was done, but somehow was not released until after people allegedly voted her back in. Timing is amazing.

Much of the conversations since the election of President Trump on 11/5/2024 has been centered around ….. “who had an impact on his victory and who didn’t have an impact” ….. and “who is on first base and who is on second base” in the world after President Trump was declared the winner.

On the other hand, President Trump’s commitment to, and actions taken to, bring the Executive Branch back into Constitutional Compliance will be regarded as a significant historical development. The changes he makes will last for many, many decades, perhaps a century, not for just one presidential term.
While President Trump is busy doing that, and while most of the country is paying attention, it is just a suggestion that the MAGA / AMERICA FIRST Movement use its communication skills and platforms …. aka the “Digital Pamphleteers” of the 2nd revolution, to describe in detail the globalist / communist activities he is shedding from the Executive Branch and why they are unconstitutional.
