Although, I read reports last summer that black women were set to rebel if Kamala Harris were passed over for the candidacy by Newsome, Whitmer, etc. And this sentiment seemed to carry a lot of weight (pun intended), as black women are arguably the backbone of the Democratic Party (e.g., they’re disproportionately represented in government and public sector jobs). I suppose Michelle would’ve been acceptable to them as an alternative, since race mattered most.

In some ways I like Clooney – I like his acting and The Peacemaker is one of my favorite movies.
