The only discontent I endured as President Trump discussed Russia during his campaign was his saying that the invasion wouldn’t have happened if he was in office.
While true, it overlooked, strategically I felt and still hope, the fact that the US was the baddest guy in Ukraine all along, enabling and supporting UkroNazis and their campaign of terror, undermining or at least not fully honoring the Minsk Accords, and countenancing the expanded state of NATO, not to mention the Collective West utterly failing to sit down with Russia long ago and drawn lines that made sense and granted everybody the breathing room and security they needed.
Ukraine is a fiasco long sought and engineered, we oughtn’t ever regard, or have regarded, intimidating and impoverishing Russia as the sole means of containing them and obtaining peace.
I’ve always felt that the demented Derp State sought to keep Presidents Trump and Putin from sitting down quietly, ever, really, much less for as long as it took to truly resolve the underlying flaws in the approach of the Collective West towards Russia ever since the Soviets collapsed, in fear that peace would break out, and that the Derps’ many crimes would come to light.
It has been and remains my prayer that such a summit, many such if necessary, will transpire, and we can make of Russia that which we should have embraced them as long ago, as friends.

As a student of history who understands how tyrants have always used fear to control their people, I have always had a suspicion that the storyline of Russia being an existential threat was nothing more than a mid-20th century psyop. How was it that we fought together to defeat the Nazis and a few years later were mortal enemies?
And then there were those silly drills in elementary school where we had to hide under our desks for protection from a nuclear attack. That’s what I have started to feel about our position in the world over the last decade or more.

After a week in London, we had our first edible meal at the War Memorial Museum cafe. It was British food but prepared deliciously. I went to compliment the chef and learned that he was French.
We decided either it wasn’t a value or English tastebuds were different than ours.

My favorite foods are Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Indian, Italian and Mexican. American food couldn’t even make the top 5. I spent a week in London in the early 90s and not one time ate British food for supper. Face it … people around the world are not clamoring for American or British food. There has been a lot of communication, including with the people that work with the person who said the child had died. It’s been two days and there has been no story on Fox, none of the evidence that was said to exist. The only conclusion I can draw is it was a lie. For the child’s sake – thank God. With that, I’d like to sincerely apologize for sharing a post last Friday (11/22) that I didn’t verify. It was from @The_Captain1968 and it stated that an 18 month old child had died from hypothermia in Swannanoa due to the family’s recently donated RV being repossessed.
For a multitude of reasons I considered this person to be a reputable source. On top of that he had claimed to have video evidence, and four separate organizations there to corroborate. Besides, who among us, with a spotlight as big as he had built, would make up something so heinous?
I was so infuriated with the prospect of this being a reality that I allowed my anger to get the best of me and shared without using terms/phrases I typically use like “allegedly” or “it’s being reported that”. Things are bad enough in the region as is, so fabricated stories only work to discredit the phenomenal work being done by the amazing volunteers on the ground.
I did reach out to Mr. Avalllone to share my concerns, and was told the story would be out on Fox News yesterday (11/25). I waited, and gave him the benefit of the doubt, as to not make things worse by engaging in the already vitriolic back and forth between commenters picking sides. Monday has come and gone, no story on Fox, and there is literally nothing out there to suggest that this happened, which ultimately is great news. I’ve never been so glad to be wrong.
So again, I apologize to everyone for my reaction and lack of verification. I’d suggest that anyone who gave him a follow based on my post please unfollow him. We don’t need that type of energy clogging up our feed, and share this post so others can be aware of the truths.
I’d also like to give huge shoutout to Cassie at @dogwoodblooms for her efforts to debunk this story, and the gathering of evidence on Mr. Avallone that suggests quite a history of fraudulent behavior. She did what many of us should have done in the beginning, and on top of that she has seen a lot of disgustingly negative comments levied against her, for doing nothing but reporting the truth. So please do give her a follow, she has earned it. I’ll also share her post exposing the claim in the comments, so go check there for the link.
There is still a long way to go, but there are some wonderful people fighting on our side, and I’m extremely excited by the drive I see in our fellow humans right now. Thank you all again so much and it’s important to keep our strength through this.

Philadelphia has certified its 2024 election results.
The county’s total voter turnout was 727,595, down 2.9% from the 749,317 voters it saw in 2020.
This is not surprising when considering how turnout in other urban areas fared in other rust-belt states. Still, it was a big surprise to many people pumping record turnout rhetoric during election day.
Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan’s election-day turnout is not and cannot be known until results are delivered. Many states have developed election-day systems that offer county or state-level turnout totals as they happen, but these three do not.
When 529,000 people vote in one county on a single day, it will look “massive” to everyone. Anyone who said they knew about PA turnout on election day and Philadelphia was set to break records was hoping for it but did not know it. That data never existed and will not exist until the state changes how it conducts elections.
Call as many precincts as you want and talk to people on the ground if you’d like, but you’re setting yourself up for a “best guess” and one that is likely crafted by what you want to be true.
