Should I feel betrayed by this? I have been feeling betrayed by Truth Social’s lack of progress. The software is mediocre, the business has not shown much innovation. No one could foresee back then that Elon would save Twitter and restore it to the leading spot for free speech, so that’s not on Trump or Nunes. But the response to that has been lacking.
But this opens up new possibilities. I can’t say I understand it all or can see how it will eventuate, but I have some hope that I didn’t have before.

I know people are anxious about seeing the DC cabal undone. But President Trump hasn’t been sworn in yet. We have about 8 weeks to go. For our own peace of mind, it might be a good ideas to draw a deep breath, grab a seat, and just watch without jumping to conclusions.
That is what I am doing….many times preparing a restorative cup of tea to help.

Retired Magistrate here: Betsy I think you are correct. Before President Trump took office in 2016 he turned over all responsibility of running his business organizations to Eric Trump and other family members and I believe that is still the case.
So it is my guess that Eric is the one doing the negotiations. Eric Trump has done a great job of running Trump Enterprises since that time. I certainly don’t begrudge the Trump family making money after all the Deep State has put that family through.

I am ignoring the ridiculous comments that claim President Trump is somehow working for his benefit as opposed to ours. Obviously he has many income streams that he needs to care for and the world is in a time of flux. After all, besides being President he has a life and a family. I wish President Trump would have gone scorched earth with Gaetz, but I’m not the person who had to carry out that work. I don’t like Bondi coming or going and don’t understand how President Trump can stand to be around people like her. But I’m not the person fending off the incoming from all directions.

Had the same immediate reaction to Gaetz dropping out, but bounced back fast. Good people won’t be lost. It will be a matter of lowering the temperature and then letting Gaetz decide if he wants to take his wife into this battlefield with him and take some other non-Senate-approved position, or duck for a while and make a family decision which way to go. He’s a fighter and it seems highly unlikely he won’t keep fighting. So best to him while he decides.
As for being around people we don’t like, that’s The Art of the Deal. Trump was absolutely BRILLIANT in North Korea. Trump has spoken out in opposition to Central Bank Digital Currencies. With Loeffler being married to Intercontinental Exchange CEO Jeffrey Sprecher, and all the banking buddies that go with him, I’m wondering if all this is a back door deal to promote private electric money such as Bitcoin or any of the other variants, as a viable alternative to the strong government controlled Central Bank scheme.
Business is business. Trump is a billionaire first. Not a politician. We got what we voted for. Fix government to give me an opportunity to thrive and do all the business we all would like. As long as that is the goal, I’m not upset. Priority is to FIX this clogged up swamp of a Government. Period.
