Biography: C.V. Raman was an Indian physicist, best known for his development of the spectrograph and his investigations into light scattering. He received the 1930 Nobel prize in physics “for his work on the scattering of light and for the discovery of the effect named after him.”

Raman made an early contribution to the question of why the sea appears blue. He contradicted the previous answer by Lord Rayleigh, who had claimed that the blue was merely the reflection of the sky. Instead, Raman posited that the sea’s blue was a result of molecular diffraction.

This work on diffraction, published in 1922, gave rise to the line of thought which would lead to his discovery of the Raman effect.

Welcome to Cursday….I have three things to say…treat your dog…love your dog…and start your engines:

Israel Update:
I didn’t report for a few days because I was waiting for something that goes beyond “They killed us and we killed more of them”.  
There were many speculations and misinformation going on. 
Most of what I read on our media was under this category.  
I can screen it but to give you the extra mile I will unfortunately have to dedicate the this report to the “Israeli Deep State”.  I say “unfortunatly”  because it’s a subject for many pages and hard to present and I myself don’t know everything about it. But it must be basically understood in order to understand the overall picture of what is going on. Why this war happened? Where is Israel headed?   So bear with me it’s a different kind of report.  It should make you look at things differently.  

-Deep State in Israel: 
The subject is elusive because it mixes up with fake conspiracies and it’s the “shadow control” so it’s not clearly visible . While I am aware of International Deep State elements, in Israel it is a bit different but all Deep States in the West are connected by Globalist ideology and also inter-personal relations (they meet each other to coordinate).  

So Israel was re-founded in 1948.  The original Founders came mainly from East Europe and brought with them Socialism.  When I grew up 
(I was born in 1964) we had one TV station, three radio stations, one phone company, one electrical company, one water company, etc…. all State owned.  One Party was controlling all the broadcast media, printed media, unions, military, all government portions.  
So The Party was called Mapai (abbreviation of “Workers Party of the Land of Israel”) and one had to be a member to get promoted to significant position like top of the military, head of government factory, etc…  There was still democracy but the competition had no chance with such a domination of the media, etc…

I know, it’s not yet about Deep State but it will get there. Patience.  

So I must go over the demography.  Israel had three Jewish populations: the indigenous who were on that land for generations, they were a small minority, the “Ashkenazi” (Jews from Europe who some came before WW2 but most were Holocaust survivors from Europe.  Poland, Hungary, Russia, Germany, France, etc… more or less in that numerical order).  

The other group were from North Africa.  Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Yemen, etc… they are called “Spharadi” or “Spharadic”. 

Over some 10 years plus the Spharadi Jews became as large as the Ashkenazi.  

But the Ashkenazi Jews were more educated and arrived with better skills and were the first group to immigrate and Founded the State, 
the Spharadic Jews became kind of second class citizens and tension arouse.   There was discrimination in society.  Not by the law.  

Now the opposition was led by Menachem Begin who was also Ashkenazi but was from a movement who were right wing and not Socialist nor Communist.  

So we had two main groups and the psychological aspect has to be mentioned objectively.  The Ashkenazi were more damaged psychologically from the Holocaust.  The damage carried over to the next generations too.  And it is my belief that lower emotional states are more attracted to left wing ideology.  They were more complicated.  The Spharadi Jews were simpler people, overall statistically had more tendency to violence and crime, and because of their discrimination they became the main voter bloc of the opposition.  Of the Likud, the Party of Begin.  They still are.  

It was only in 1977 that a breakthrough occurred and Begin won the elections despite the vicious Left wing smears against him.  
The Likud stayed in Office until 1983.  Then lost from 1984-1986. Then won again.  And it went back and forth from right to left with gradually more and more right wing parties in Office.  Bibi himself was a factor and was in Office 1996-1999, 2009-2021, 2023 to present time.  

Menachem Begin put an end to Socialism and sold most of the government companies and Bibi turned Israel to a free market US style ecconomy and a technological supper power.  

As the decades went by, the gap between Ashkenazi and Spharadi Jews closed to a good degree. But the Spharadi stayed more at the right of politics and the Ashkenazi more at the left. The Spharadi tend to bring more children and also the religious people (who join the right) bring a lot of children and so the left lost its power and future.  

Now I know I didn’t mention Deep State yet but one more aspect and it will make sense. 

Another split occurred.  The left strayed off the original Liberal ideology and gravitated along with the International Progressive and Globalist movement.  This means atheism and a desire to make Israel a secular nation rather than a Jewish Nation, many of the International left ideas including the Globalists who want a Two State Solution and driving money and influence to the Israeli left.  
The right is Conservative and wants a Jewish State with equal rights to loyal none Jews.  

So there is an internal “War” about the future of Israel.  

So in view of the demography that is going right, the Left find a way to hold on to power:

1. They never let off the control over the media.  We only have one right wing TV station and they tried to close it but it is growing anyways.  
2. A hold of the Judicial: Supreme Court, the AG Office (Prosecution).  
3. Control over the Military Higher Command.
4. Control over the Shabak Internal Security (like your FBI).  

Now number 2 (Judicial) is where it matters.  Over the decades the Supreme Court managed to fortify its position and steal more and more power.  The election of Supreme Court judges is set up in a way that the majority votes are from the Judicial people.  So the Progressives bring in more Progressives.  And they are pretty radical left.  I would say they represent a party that took only 4 seats of the 120 of the Parliament seats.  They managed to pass in a sneaky way a rule that is called “The clause of the reasonability” which means they can nullify the laws under the “reasonable clause”.  For example in the last elections they nullified an appointment of a coalition Minister of Internal Affairs because he had a criminal record.  But the law said that it was too long ago. But he had another mild IRS type violation since, so they nullified this appointment against existing law.  Created a crisis in the coalition.  
Another point, they assigned extra power to the position of “The Legal Advisor of the Government”.  The Advisor is now a dictator.  For example if the Government wants to pass a death Penalty law and the Advisor says “no” then it is a “no”.  If the government will try to go against it the Supreme Court will likely go with the Advisor.  
She is very Liberal anti Government.  She recently sent someone (her representative) to the AG Office and ordered it to investigate the Internal Affairs Minister when there is no reason to investigate. 
He is simply what is called “far right”.  She also ordered Bibi to 
re-evaluate this appointment.  If Bibi fires him the government falls.  That is her intention.  No worries this will not happen. 

Many of the higher government appointments get framed with criminal charges and the left can get away with much worse.  They ruin lives.  
For example:  Bibi has multiple cases against him when most of it is insanely false.  Like “getting positive coverage because of a deal that he made with a liberal media outlet that never writes anything good about him.”  
They open cases against people and flip them to the left or else.  
Example: Ex-Prime Minister Sharon was very right wing.  After they framed him with a case he all of a sudden became left and pulled out of Gaza with nothing in return.  All of a sudden the media left his case alone and the legal proceedings disappeared.  This is how we got 10/7 from a historical perspective.  
Anti Government protesters block roads and set fires and graffiti. 
They get away with it.  On the other hand a woman from the right who wrote a graffiti about illegal immigrant rapes got imprisoned.  

Additionally somehow the Supreme Court got opened up to external (none Israeli) petitions.  So let say Israel decides to destroy the home of a murderous terrorist in the West Bank,  it would go  through a challenge in the Supreme Court by some Pro Terrorists lefty Foundation that  gets its money and directions abroad.  Basically a foreign entity.  And there are tens of Left Wing Foundations funded by Soros and Europe Globalists, etc…
I remember we had a case in the Supreme Court that involved shooting at Gazan Rioters who violently approached the fence.  They had tens of thousands of them.  Eventually the Judges declined the matter but when we get external terrorists interests represented in our Supreme  Courts then the Military feels extra carful.  Eventually it turned out that those organized riots were done also in order to numb the IDF when the real deal attack (10/7) happens.  

So a couple of years ago when the Israeli right won in a Landslide they thought they can Reform the judicial system.  
This led to a massive media campaign of “Save  the democracy”.  
And massive well organized well financed weekly large protests.  
Bibi proposed a very aggressive Reform that gave too much power to government over the Judicial (a pendulum swing) and this led to massive unrest.  And some ex-military called to “not come to Reserve Duty” and this was not punished by the liberal courts not the compromised Liberal Leadership of the IDF.  Eventually it came up from Hamas documents that the riots in Israel made them feel that Israel is falling apart and it’s a good time for an attack.  It was a factor.  

The last factor. Over the decades the IDF would send almost all the high command to get trained in the US under a program in Harvard University.  It is organized and financed by a Jewish American  organization by the name “The Waxner Foundation”.  It’s a “leadership program” and it takes about a year. We in the Israeli right believe that it’s a Liberal Progressive indoctrination.  What can you expect of Harvard?  We believe that the High Command and how they had it all wrong before 10/7 can be partially traced back to this. 
We call it “The Waxner Graduates” in a derogatory way referring to compromised commanders with Liberal values.  

The current Chief of Staff is a Graduate and so almost all his upper command who messed up on 10/7.  Recently the Foundation stopped the Harvard activities because of Harvard Antisemite disgrace but the program is not ended.  

So we have an upper command that constantly trying to end the war and Bibi have to keep them going.  Recently there was a leak that the “Security Establishment” said to Bibi that “it’s the last chance to bring back the hostages or we will lose them and we must take painful concessions”.  They mean to surrender to Hamas and get out of Gaza and let Hamas grow again. I don’t know who said so but it has the flavor of the Chief of Staff.  And why doesn’t Bibi fires him? We all know it. 
You guessed right.  It’s the Deep State. He is backed off from a judicial interference and massive media incitement to set Israel on riots and protests that will interrupt the war. And some of the soldiers are on the other side of politics so he has to tread carefully to keep some unity in the ranks. And why wouldn’t he fire the Legal Advisor of the Government who is constantly interrupts things?  The same reason.  

But there is also another aspect.  Bibi likes to step on mid grounds. 
He is not a radical person.  This is his character and you can like it or not.  Look how he kept appeasing the Biden’s Administration and wouldn’t attack Iran too seriously and how he delayed the enterance to Rafah and now Lebanon invasion was minimized to a “limited operation”, etc… while at the same time he did what was a must despite of them.  

So only history will judge the way he manages things.  It’s easy to be outside and criticize without knowing everything.  But me and many feel a bit tormented from having to see 2-3 Miles invasion to Lebanon for two months and now they are moving another 2-3 Miles.  When we remember the Six Days War and know what the IDF is capable of if only let loose.  I guess it was an agreement with Biden.  But with Trump there won’t be any excuses.  Trump is exactly the opposite of Biden.  
He wants fast and aggressive victory.  Biden just wanted quiet.  

I hope it gave some understandings.  Don’t hesitate to ask questions.

It is just below freezing and the first flakes of snow of the season are falling here at my Indiana home. It is a wintery mix, transitioning from freezing rain to snow. Slick out on the deck due to wet ice, but the snow is not sticking anywhere on the ground or concrete yet, just some on the weather covers on my deck furniture and the cover of my ready wood rack on the deck.

Won’t be long before we get a real hard freeze that’ll knock out a lot of the bugs that hide in the firewood. After that happens I’ll be bringing in firewood to store in the rack next to the fireplace insert in the living room.

Won’t fire up the insert until after we get temps that stay below or near freezing all day. Any warmer than that and that thing will run a person out of the living room! But once that happens and I fire up the insert for the first time, I will get to see if the cold air return I had put in the ceiling over the insert provides enough warmth to heat the whole house with only the furnace circulating fan on.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me. 

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Here is my guess at the ‘why’…
Obama’s staff in the White House (sometimes called ‘Biden’s staff) now has US troops in Ukraine, using US sattellite targetting information, shooting US long range rockets into Russia, killing Russians.
Vlad has decided the proportional response will be Russians in Yemen using Russian sattellite targetting to shoot Russian anti-ship missiles, at American warships, killing Americans.
Given today’s US Navy has squandered competency and resources on ‘diversity’ and defective ‘Littoral Combat Ships’, it really has no adequate defenses against current Russian anti-ship missiles.
