A Wednesday train of thought . . .
Today is Wednesday . . . also known as “Hump Day” . . . and that reminds me of camels of course, Dromedary (single hump) and Bactrian (double hump) . . .
and camels remind me of camel-hair coats which reminds me of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid sporting their matching camel-hair coats . . . of course, camel-hair coats as we know them today are not actually made from camel-hair but from beautiful wool fabrics died in the shade of camel-hair, so you don’t have to worry about any camels being hurt.
My Mom was convinced that Nancy and Harry had those camel coats made at the same time somewhere . . . maybe during a junket with a stop in Hong Kong . . . the camel fabric matched exactly, had to be from the same dye lot, the same bolt of cloth. Mom’s thought was that Harry had them made as a surprise for Nancy. Then, there was that press conference where Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi were addressing the press on the Capitol Steps and Harry edged over to Nancy to put his arm around her . . . Nancy jumped and it was ascribed to her being offended at being treated like the little woman . . . the secondary, junior, diminished partner who Harry was insulting by presuming to put his arm around her.
We were amazed that no one saw what we saw in the body language . . . Nancy KNEW the whole world was going to see that something was going on between her and Harry. I told my friend (two years older than my Mom) about this theory and she pooh-poohed it (“Why would she want to go out with that old guy? She has a nice-looking husband. You know, she’s had five kids. What would she want with that old Harry Reid?”).
I didn’t do more of a survey than that but Mom and I agreed that it was not the vibe the press reported, that Nancy was offended at being diminished as a woman (over a bill they were working on). We saw a definite flinch of unease at having the whole world see that something had been going on with those two and let’s find out more about the camel coats.
Now that the prospect of Matt Gaetz as Attorney General is being contemplated and efforts are afoot to squelch that idea, hopefully just floating the story about Matt Gaetz that was supposed to destroy him, recycling that will do the job . . . I hope that other observant people out there will recall the camel coats of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi and how Nancy flinched when Harry put his arm around her in front of the whole world.
It all reminds me too of Harry Reid’s smug remark after the Presidential election in 2012 when he was confronted about his lie about Presidential candidate Mitt Romney and unpaid taxes: “Well, it worked, didn’t it?”
Nancy Pelosi did not seem the least perturbed about that lie and did not call Harry on it. If a story should float to the surface about Harry and Nancy and the camel coats, I daresay our politicians will be deeply offended at anyone bringing it up. Pierre Delecto FKA Mitt Romney will even put out a statement expressing his chagrin.

The Senate GOP hasn’t really adjusted to the new MAGA reality in the country. The regime’s policies and its weaponization have been thoroughly rebuked by the public.
It’s not that people ignored the regime’s attacks on Trump and his people or didn’t understand them. They’re actually kind of pissed off about it and want action taken.

Seems as though this year we have an additional report that must be filed for our businesses. The Beneficial Ownership Information Report is required by December 31, 2024, after that the fine is $500 per day. Now required by the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network!!! If you own an active or inactive business or company this filing is required. My guess is most don’t know about it and the daily fine for not filing is egregious!!! Total bull💩!!!! JMO
