But for Buttigeg there could no explanation for an overpass that didn’t accommodate busses other than that a disproportionate number of Blacks rode the busses in New Jersey 50 years ago. That was pretty much his contribution to transportation. I don’t know if he even had that one overpass rebuilt.

rail service in remote PA. We rode good ole 2102, a 4-6-4 steam engine , from Nesquehoning, PA up to
Piston, PA. in August. This was just a fun ride for folks that love steam engines and it drew thousands not
just from the event but from folks along the tracks. It gave us pride seeing all the people hanging out
waving and cheering. I told my friends that it felt like the American Spirit was revived during that ride.
