And realizing at the same time that such a stance is selfish (is that the right word?) and self centered, as I know there are some who have felt the same about some of my actions. This makes the forgiveness easier for me.

I remember a sermon I once heard, about events in a Nazi prison camp. For some minor infraction, the inmates were lined up to have one selected to be shot. A younger Jewish man was singled out. A priest or a pastor saw this, and stepped forward and offered to take the penalty. But it is able to be used as an example precisely because of the truth about human nature – the joy and gratitude that comes with delivery from certain death.
Would such a person be forever loyal? Would such a person be willing to do anything, be anything, say anything for the people who set him free, perhaps for the very purpose of destroying those Nazi human experiments on mankind (it is a straight line of corporate succession from German Nazi pharma to our current crop, as you already know).

A Word About That Word “Mandate”
There’s a good book titled The Right Nation, published in 2004, about the rise of conservative power in America. I discovered it in a Goodwill during Trump’s 1st term, & it was fascinating to read because it was written by 2 British journalists trying to understand American political culture & the Republican Party during the Bush years
They do a good job of tracing the History of the conservative movement since 1964, how it had to rebuild itself & the Republican Party, the role of the great think tanks & magazines, etc
There’s a section of the History portion that has always stuck out in my memory. The authors present the dialectic b/w Bill Clinton & Newt Gingrich, & how both, in the authors’ estimation, repeated the same mistake: misreading their mandate
Bill Clinton thought he had a mandate to put Hilary in charge of healthcare & make her a co-president. He paid for that & other errors in the 1994 midterms. Gingrich, according to the authors, failed to realize that the American people voted AGAINST Bill Clinton’s obnoxious wife & his expensive haircuts, they didn’t vote for every white paper & policy proposal produced by the team of intellectuals & think tankers he so masterfully assembled. For the most part the American people didn’t care about privatizing social security or whatever (it’s been a while since I read the book)

BTW, when we allegedly, narrowly “voted” to become a sanctuary state, it was sold to the voters as a bill to make it so that illegal aliens wouldn’t be afraid to report crime to the police. The Republican half of the Uniparty simply cannot allow a red wave in CONgress matching the one for Trump. In that case they couldn’t obstruct him with the excuse that they don’t have a sufficient majority… like, for instance, in the coming Senate confirmation hearings.
This explains the very curious lack of full attention pointed out by the Fractal team of the RNC/GOP to horrendously inaccurate voter rolls. It’s like they didn’t care in many states. The excuse is that those aren’t key states for electoral votes, but they ARE key in another way: control of CONgress.
It’s simple: to avoid a large majority where they would have to accomplish something other than the desired results of The Blob, they simply look the other way in elections where needed.
Trump won because the RNC/GOP realized that if they didn’t help there would be a one party system and their phony opposition would appear even more useless than it already is. It was a matter of survival.
However, for the reasons I pointed out, a red wave in CONgress simply cannot be allowed and THAT is enabled by the lack of adequate RNC/GOP attention to fraud in many states.
