A small story….
I came across this beautiful, moving rendition of “My Country Tis of Thee” after the devastating 2020 coup.
When I got to the fourth verse (above), I burst into uncontrollable tears, understanding what would be done to our beloved America, as indeed it was. The project Obama started which would be continued under a despicable Biden.

Until today after hearing Mr Voight, a patriot. Four unimaginably terrible years later, I have revisited this well known hymn….and once more burst into tears…
But this time, they are tears of gratitude for His grace and mercies which He has bestowed upon us 🙏🏻

This song was part of my elementary school upbringing. We sang this as young kids and also raised the flag on the flagpole outside the school each morning. I’m not sure if any of that is around anymore.
The best solution is to be grateful to God and to always be mindful of everyone’s needs around you.

We must not only look to the political needs of our country now, as great as they are, we need to look to the spiritual needs of our country. We need to continue to pray for a spiritual Great Awakening all across America. That is the only way to insure that the battle won this Tuesday in bringing President Trump back to finish the job he started in 2016 is completed and the war for the soul of America is won. The Lord God has given us, and President Trump, a second chance. The Lord can heal our land. Only when we are holy as a people can America truly be great again.

We’ve witnessed something extraordinary, something that feels like the hand of God over our nation. This moment feels like providence, and I pray that we don’t lose focus or turn to false idols.
