The framework, the inside baseball political stuff, is never truly explained by media. The financial media play this pretending game that we are not bound to follow.
You will remember last year when I dug deep into the financial system around Twitter, Elon Musk’s purchase, and the viability of the business model. In short, by the time he reached October/November ’23 there was going to be no way for Musk to continue operating Twitter without some serious change in financial construct.
So, what happened?
Larry Ellison happened.
In a little-known background conversation that President Trump is well aware of, Oracle founder Larry Ellison said, “I will not allow Musk to fall.” Thus, an immediate and opportune alignment began that shows the strategic thinking of billionaire Larry Ellison.
Ellison gains around $50 billion per year from his operations. Oracle is huge. The X-platform subsequently began big contracts with Oracle. Twitter’s fate is now intrinsically linked to Ellison. Nuf said.
With that scale of GFY money now steadfast backing him, Elon Musk not only had breathing room, but he also had the ability to take big risks.
After testing the water with DeSantis, likely stirred by Ellison taking a peek, it became obvious the best play was to fully support Trump. Week after week, as President Trump solidly gained position for next week’s election, Elon Musk leaned in further and deeper. Elon Musk is now the biggest influence operation in the 2024 MAGA movement.
As a direct consequence of Musk’s position, Larry Ellison -by extension Oracle- is now easily positioned to be the biggest beneficiary of a Trump win. Ellison is the biggest influence operation; but as all influence and leverage operations go, he’s also the quietest influence.
Larry Ellison (Oracle) is the hand on the Elon Musk Marionette. All Musk moves are with this background alignment as the underpinning.
With a Trump victory next week becoming more and more predictable, the biggest loser was set to be Larry Ellison’s billionaire competitor, Jeff Bezos (Amazon).
Jeff Bezos needs to position himself to avoid being totally shut out from White House influence ability. The non-endorsement was the first move. The shift in ideological alignment within the Washington Post (article above) is the second move. Bezos is mitigating and strategizing risk. That’s what is going on.
These are not media outlets in your traditional frame of reference. These are influence operations aligned with the interests of the billionaires behind them. It’s a game of thrones thing. Each interest has their own advocacy group. That’s what you would call “modern media”. Bezos has the Washington Post, Ellison positioned himself with Twitter; the intent is the same.
The biggest winners from the Trump victory will be Larry Ellison (Oracle), his super influence operator Elon Musk, and their smaller -albeit ideologically similar- friend, Peter Thiel (Palantir).
This is the inside baseball stuff that circles the President Trump campaign orbit in very close proximity. This is the command-and-control influence operation that determines outcomes. When Trump wins, these interests are positioned for strongest influence.
If you want to really understand what is happening, follow this background context as the intellectual filter and you will be watching President Trump Term-2 politics with clear eyes. However, always remember, these are their personal interests. As long as they align with MAGA, all is cool. If their personal interests diverge from MAGA, we will have a problem.

Remember that Oberlin College went after Gibson’s Bakery, a small family owned business in the town. One fateful night in 2016, a minority student from Oberlin stole a couple of bottles of wine from the Bakery’s grocery area. I’d just like somebody to take on the Kindle Unlimited racket at Amazon. (It’s a subscription service that allows a user to read as many books as they like for a flat monthly fee. Good deal for readers but Amazon locks indie writers into exclusivity, meaning you can’t sell your ebooks anywhere else. The vast majority of indie writers are dependent on Amazon for their income because of this. It’s a monopoly, gives them control of the ebook market, and disadvantages any writer who doesn’t want to play the game. Super annoying.)

I don’t know if it’s as all Machiavellian as Sundance is portraying this. In discussing Ellison, Thiel and Musk, I think it’s more useful to consider that these men have long track records of creating real value in viciously competitive markets… thus they have real aptitude. People with real aptitude are inherently capitalist by nature.
The collectivist game being played in the United States jumped the shark in 2020. Thus things had to change, or revert to the norm if these men, and people like these men wanted to continue to make money.
Also, Ellison is 80s old, has a track record of backing conservatives, and just maybe decided that working to preserve the system that let him thrive was actually worth more than simply making a few more bucks.

When the Biden administration was first starting, I became optimistic , perhaps excessively, because I held the view that the overreach being displayed was so blatant that self destruction was inevitable.
As the courts and the Republican opposition became so obviously feckless, the uniparty concept was clearly displayed, and the arrogance with which the public was treated was tremendously painful. Mitch McConnell became the abusive face of the beast, often even surpassing the duplicity of Biden.
Eventually, as the NWO, bug protein, and 15 minute centers of oppression came into view, I latched on to the idea that some of our oligarchs would perhaps see the demons, don’t know if I mean this literally or figuratively, but the demons attached to the rapidly approaching Brave New World and rebel. That they would decide they hadn’t signed on to this, and change their vision. This required the assumption that some Spectre or Chaos, if you prefer Maxwell Smart, type operator hidden away under a mountain somewhere , was in charge behind the scenes, giving rise to a straw man the oligarchs could turn against, saving them from admitting their own culpability.
Right on cue, central casting sends out the bizarre Claus Schwab, fantasizing himself as a Romulan overlord, to direct us to sell all that we have to him for nothing, be happy, and catch crickets and cockroaches for dinner. And die without children, and castrate any we do manage to have.
I can’t tell you if these masters of the universe are actually trying to stop dystopia. For now, they have joined the effort to preserve life as we know it by causing considerable grief and delay to those operating against us, for this we can be grateful. We have a heritage of brilliant and successful men securing this nation, their honor and fortune at risk. Maybe some of these people are of that stature. Time answers all questions.
The cost of procuring and operating the X platform is not prohibitive at all to people involved. I even suspect they enjoy selling shovels to those in the rebellion, to borrow a gold rush analogy. So we can’t let the task of saving humanity be up to them, as they can be fickle partners. Yet we can be grateful for help, from wherever it’s sent. Saving the first amendment without invoking the second is better. Yet, relying on a disconnected baron is not freedom either.
While we accept whatever help the Lord sends our way, complacency and it’s affiliated comfort is as dangerous to we the people as the arrogance and overreach was to the Biden gang, as that indeed become the source of their fall.
We have a great gift in Donald Trump, maybe some more help from Elon and a few others. But we have Donald Trump for about 50 more months at most with no guarantees for afterwards.
So our path now and afterwards is between us and a loving God. We thank him for the help he sends our way and resolve to rely on ourselves and our Lord. And to always give thanks for the remarkable man he has blessed us with for today.

A few years back I was looking for a very specific American designed ladder.
Out of curiosity I checked Amazon. Their algo showed me hundreds of shoddy knock offs and would not show me the exact product I had entered a catalog number for.
After many gyrations I almost accidentally found the ladder I was seeking, and it was more expensive than buying direct from the MFR.
The idea that Amazon is cheaper is a MYTH, and chances are that you will end up with a cheap flimsy knock off if the algo has its way.

Personally, despite the Game of Thrones inference, I really don’t like the fact that these billionaires, whether Ellison, Theil or even Musk, have such a hand in play with Trump and the MAGA movement. I’m naive, I know, but there is nothing ‘populist’ about these men or their companies. Each of them are in some way connected with surveillance and human control.
