Wisconsin friend’s grandson going to Olivet, caught a ride to Chicago Ohare where family took him home to Milwaukee area to vote last week. His parents then drove him back to campus for an upcoming test!

AZ Central today reporting on Maricopa early vote totals shows a chart comparing 2020 early votes to 2024. Remember 2020 was COVID and Trump told us to vote on Election Day, but this year is saying to vote early, so take that into account.
2020: 37.5% Republican, 37.3% Dem, and 25.2% “Other” in by two days before the election.

Exclusive: I just filed a sworn complaint with the Wis. Election Commission against the City Clerk of Kenosha.
She only tested 1 out of 36 ES&S tabulators for the election tomorrow. State law(s) required her to test all of them, with the public noticed in advance and an opportunity for them to be present.
She did not do this; she claimed she tested the other 35 tabulators the days before. But admitted she did not follow the law in providing the mandatory notice to the public in advance of the date and time.
These voting machines cannot be used in the election tomorrow.
Here is the notice statute:
“7.15(1)(d) Prepare the necessary notices and publications in connection with the conduct of elections or registrations.”
Here are the mandatory machine testing and also notice requirements:
“5.84 Testing of equipment; requirements for programs and ballots.
(1) Where any municipality employs an electronic voting system which utilizes automatic tabulating equipment, either at the polling place or at a central counting location, the municipal clerk shall, on any day not more than 10 days prior to the election day on which the equipment is to be utilized, have the equipment tested to ascertain that it will correctly count the votes cast for all offices and on all measures.
Public notice of the time and place of the test shall be given by the clerk at least 48 hours prior to the test by publication of a class 1 notice under ch. 985 in one or more newspapers published within the municipality if a newspaper is published therein, otherwise in a newspaper of general circulation therein.
The test shall be open to the public. The test shall be conducted by processing a preaudited group of ballots so marked as to record a predetermined number of valid votes for each candidate and on each referendum. The test shall include for each office one or more ballots which have votes in excess of the number allowed by law and, for a partisan primary election, one or more ballots which have votes cast for candidates of more than one recognized political party, in order to test the ability of the automatic tabulating equipment to reject such votes.
If any error is detected, the municipal clerk shall ascertain the cause and correct the error. The clerk shall make an errorless count before the automatic tabulating equipment is approved by the clerk for use in the election.
(2) Before beginning the ballot count at each polling place or at the central counting location, the election officials shall witness a test of the automatic tabulating equipment by engaging the printing mechanism and securing a printed result showing a zero count for every candidate and referendum. After the completion of the count, the ballots and programs used shall be sealed and retained under the custody of the municipal clerk in a secure location.”
I also submitted public records requests to the same City of Kenosha Clerk for system logs of the tabulator testing, copies of the test decks of ballots fed in and other information.
“Apparently the modem uses the same broadband as police and fire department” according to one of the three eye-witnesses (who attended the public voting machine testing of 1 tabulator).

I also voted early last week, in the collar county of ‘Crook’, Will county. Will is notably lib/ due to Joliet area. Lots of farmers in rural Will county, and a heavier presence was noted for early voting. Something to watch, anyway. Illinois will never turn red, but numbers may be alarming to some.

I had one come by yesterday. I live in a very blue section of Austin which of course is about as crazy as a loon (HT to John Prince). I did what I always do and have a factual conversation. Lasts about 30 minutes – everything from what has Kamala done, what will she do based on her prior statements and her new positions, to climate change. What is fun is when the conversation gets to the climate catastrophe it becomes very entertaining. Ask them what percent of our atmosphere is CO2 – if it is a catastrophe it has to be what, 30% 40%. They don’t know – when you tell them it’s .04% there is this look – actually get them to google it. Go on from there – usually can keep them off the street for at least 30 minutes. Always polite and thank them for their time.

North of Charlotte, NC. here. Working the polls tomorrow. We were told 1000 people from our precinct of 2100 have already voted. We usually vote about 80% participation. Expecting a great turnout tomorrow.

I’m in TN – Williamson County. It’s a red county with poor election participation. The early voting center where I went to vote early was very busy but according to % from the local lib rag it’s still down from 2020. Turnout to vote is usually in the 20 to 30% range. It’s pathetic. But we do have pretty clean elections even with the terrible machines.
I don’t understand the mentality. All these upper class/wealthy citizens are more concerned with keeping up with the Joneses.

The machine we use here works as follows: you are handed a long card with your identification on it. The person assisting you at the machine notes you precinct ID and puts that code into the machine so that YOU will see YOUR local races in addition to any State and Federal contests. YOU insert card into machine and then verify that it is showing YOU the contests YOU are voting on.
You then make your selection using the touch screen. When you are done, you hint print and the card inserted comes out with YOUR selections. You can then look at the card to verify that it is showing what YOU did. You then take tne card to a second machine and insert it where the selections you made are tabulated.
It’s a good system as it involves 2 machines AND a hard copy. Of course, the voter has no way to validate that the 2nd machine is actually counting your choices as input.

He has done an amazing amazing job and he does deserve major thanks if this election goes as planned. He has been working for years now and has never given up or backed down. I hope PTrump acknowledges his effort and rewards him somehow.

I spoke with my friend who is American citizen born to naturalized Mexican parents.
They have always voted Democrat.
His mother is the leader of the family, and she has announced that everyone in the family [5 adults] is voting Republican and Trump this year. She says “there is too much craziness if the same people remain in office WWIII is a sure
thing.”
They are all voting Tuesday.
Hispanics flipping this year is real.

Oregon has 1.02 million registered democrats, 753,000 registered republicans and 1.1 registered as unaffiliated. As of close of business on October31st 38% of registered Oregon had turned in a ballot. Clackamas county (Portland) turned in 26.1% and Multnomah county (more Portland) 30.8%. Lane county (Eugene U of O) turned in 40.3%. More rural counties Lincoln (central coast retirees from California and me) 47.7%, Benton (Corvallis OSU) 47.3% returned ballots. Again as of Thursday October 31st 51%of Republicans had returned a ballot and 46% of democrats. don’t know about unaffiliated but ours show up on the MY VOTE site as having been picked up October 21. In 2016 80% of Oregonians voted and 82% in 2022.
So in the first 10 days of voting less than 50% of the ballots were turned in. Five more days to get votes in. but if postmarked the 5th can still be counted.
we registered as unaffiliated in 2020 so as not to be harassed

Early voting so far in Obama’s deep blue Chicago is 392,552.
Early “votes” cast at this same point in 2020 was 683,981.

Don’t know if this means anything or not but in my solid red corner of the forest the grocery stores are picked clean. It’s a rural Trump voting area so I’m not sure why people are stocking up as for a blizzard. I wouldn’t think there would be unrest here no matter what happens.
Kind of strange. I voted last week & hubby’s voting either today or tomorrow. Turnout has been high according to the county auditor.
It means you have a lot of smart neighbors.
While there may or may not be unrest in your area – there are things that might happen depending upon the results that would affect everyone. They range from a complete supply chain shutdown to a grid down situation. Better to be prepared and not need to be than need to be and aren’t.

Was at the precinct setting up for the vote for tomorrow in Mankato, MN. where I am an election judge. Heard that there were 600 waiting in line at the courthouse to vote at 4:30 when voting is supposed to stop. That is unheard of. They are not there to vote for CommieLa. Trump blow out coming, even in MN.

Delaware had great turn out for early voting however that’s a bad thing because now they know how many votes to print from the DMV system. I know nobody cares about Delaware but Trump won it in 2020 at the machine, he slaughtered Biden only to have them print exactly the number of ballots needed to win w/out triggering a recount in each district. That’s why they are so confident they are going to win, early voting gives them what they want/need.

Can confirm. I live in a Boston student neighborhood, wear my MAGA cap on the street and get a lot of positive reactions, from young white male students especially. Similar responses from POC males in nearby minority districts, all very encouraging. I’d be very surprised, though, if Masswent Red. But a crazy year like this?…🤪

I heard from someone who early voted in my town; only ONE early voting location, and she said it was a line around the building,…a lady needed to sit so she found her a chair,…said those in line were cheerful and friendly, etc.

Our town was featured on Fox and Friends this morning for breakfast … I’m NOT a Fox fan since 2020, but I did watch just this once to see some of our friends there.
I was a little concerned since it was held in a “semi liberal” area of town with the urbanites, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the entire place being MAGA!
