I read recently that nearly half of Colorado voters are registered Unaffiliated. So I looked it up.
There are 4,018,917 active registered voters in CO. Of those, 1,944, 645 identify as Unaffiliated. 48%.
Colorado is becoming an antiestablishment state which is really interesting. I pulled up the data from 2014, and only 30% were unaffiliated. (1,000,000 out of 3,000,000)
I don’t know if that’s part of a broader national trend. But almost half the state today rejects membership in either party…
I realize they’re voting Democrat statewide, but the right kind of candidate out here would blow up the uniparty system.
The same thing here in MA, Unaffiliated far outstrips both Democrats and Republicans.
But since MA is totally Dem, this is why I claim that most unaffiliated voters are really Dems in disguise.

I used to think that, but it doesn’t serve a purpose. At the margins it lets us vote in either primary (operation chaos). But it doesn’t affect the outcome.
The trend matters. If the right candidate taps into that unaffiliated mindset, they can do a lot of damage.
MA is not totally Dim.
The yuuuge chunk of independents has been around as long as I’ve lived here, which is 43 years now. Independents are called Unenrolled. Plenty of them are things like libertarians, Bernie Bros, and a growing number of Health Freedom advocates who are MAGA/MAHA now.
Republicans here are either solid RINO or solid MAGA. More of the latter in numbers every day, but the former have all the power in the state party. We’re working on that…
And yes, as Frank says, once you hit the exurbs there are yuuuge Trump flags and signs many places.
There are also plenty of quiet MAGA. In the suburban culdesac where I live, I have the only Trump sign. But almost every one of the neighbors has told me they love it. One did not want a sign on her house, but took one of mine to give to her brother who lives on a far busier route nearby – I saw it there on my way home today.
The R town committee is pretty much all MAGA – a few are still not very advanced in understanding how to get out of the RINO rut, but they’re working for Trump.
In a couple of hours we’ll be holding a sign standout in the center of town.
VA is like this. If you get just a few miles away on either side of I95, especially west, it’s like a different planet. My VA friends remind me of this all the time. It’s hard to overcome that urban corridor and the beltway grifters, but it can be done.
It helps a lot this year that VA has a one term gov who probably wants to be President.
In MA the problem is that the unenrolleds hate the GOP hard, and rightly so. As in CO, if they had a new party to vote for that is neither D nor R, it would really shake things up.
I received a text today “You’re the only person in your area who has not endorsed the GOP and Trump before the election. Click here ….” The GOP is trying hard to ride Trump’s coattails and millions of Americans are letting them know we don’t buy it. The “Uniparty” reality is really sinking in on both sides.
Haven’t voluntarily donated one dollar to the GOP, my only donations were to President Trump!
My phone and email has been spammed constantly after multiple winred donations to President Trump. A lot of the spam is GOP from all over the country.
The uniparty needs to get this message loud and clear. I voted GOP down the ballot but I will be working to primary uniparty in the midterms in Virginia.

I lived in Colorado from 2017-2022 and registered as Unaffiliated. During the 2020 my wife and I received 7 ballots between the two of us. I burned the 5 extra ballots. Reside in Texas now, plenty of Trump supporters when we early voted Friday.
Much as I hate voting by mail – we vote in person, period – I’ve never had extra ballots show up except when my kids turned 18 which is supposed to happen.
I just wish the Texans would winter in Texas instead of crowding up the lift lines during ski season. 😉. Locals avoid the place, but jokingly refer to one of the ski towns as Texanridge.
We used to be about 1/3 each affiliation. The increase in unaffiliated voters is primarily due to Automatic Voter Registration. People are now automatically registered through the DMV and automatically categorized as unaffiliated. Up to them to change that if they want to.
I heard a radio spot today promoting Prop 131, ranked choice voting, aimed at unaffiliated voters. Hope people don’t fall for that nonsense.

Colorado is all mail voting. Statewide elections will always go to the D’s.
Actually, the thing I point out to people (I’ve lived here 33 years), is that CO was a red state until mail in voting was implemented in 2014. No Republican save one-termer Cory Gardner has won statewide office since.
Mail in voting is fraudulent, always has been.
I am in Colorado, we got hijacked by the Rocky Mtn Heist (Michelle Malkin exposed that) with mail in ballots and went from a purple state to a deep blue one. And after the recent antics with the passwords to voting machines made public-I have no confidence that our votes are being counted.
God willing, Trump will win tomorrow, Republicans will win control of both houses and election fraud will be exposed and cheaters punished.

I’m in a hyper-liberal NH college town with easily a 5 to 1 ratio of Dems to Reps if not more. Had a “Democrat Party Canvasser” stop by my off-the-beaten-path house yesterday asking if my household decided who we’re voting for. “Yes!” I declared. Then got a “…..and….?” I informed them our decision is ours and private, as it should be, however, what struck me is that what the heck are they doing going door to door around here where it’s a given that regardless of who the Dem candidate is, they’re going to vote for them.
It seems to be clear desperation. If they’re knocking on doors around here, it’s BAD!

I traveled through Delaware over the weekend and was astounded by all the TRUMP signs! Very few signs are up for QueMala. And this is Biden’s hometown! This is “beach friends” territory!

Another interesting observation in DE: Trump signs were generously interspersed with those for various local Republican candidates for office. But none of the clusters of democrat signage included any signs for QueMala.

WA state has roughly 5,000,000 registered voters. As of November 1, only 47.28% have returned their ballots.
70% of boomers’ ballots were returned, but only 25.9% in the 18-24 age group.
Seattle, King County’s returned ballots are at an interesting low. This time, four years ago, 21% more of King County had voted, than now. So … 67.68% in 2020 versus 46.58% in 2024.

Pretty funny in retrospect. Used to do a fair amount of expert witness/consulting work in the Seattle area. It was priceless to see the attitudes there regarding people from other parts of the state. To those in the Seattle area, everyone but them were either dumb dirt farmers or equally dumb loggers. Would leave there after this “dumb dirt farmer” just smoked their ass in court.

The Yakima area is nice. The rainy areas are nasty cold n wet. More depressed people live there.
They have a tendency to jump from the Tacoma narrows bridge, with all the lack of sun, rain and overcast.. really a very suicidal area for a large part of the year.
If you drive from the west coast of WA state to Spokane, you find very few towns and cities in between. That was my experience.
Don’t let the door hit ya on the way out! Sounds to me like you have a little attitude problem – maybe that is why you were treated that way. But as a lifelong Washington resident, I can say that the Seattle where I grew up was always an incredibly safe, friendly city, so maybe the change in the vibe is from all of the California transplants who ruined their state and then moved up here to try to ruin mine? And as for the rain, we call that down upon snarky out of town visitors so that they won’t come back during the spring and summer, see the mountain out, and want to move here!

In all fairness, many of us came here from california, started businesses, pay taxes, provide steady jobs and are solidly conservative. In fact, most of the former california people we know here fit that profile.

Having been born and raised here, third generation, I still remember when Seattle was a big city with a small town feel, where people were polite, friendly, and very self-sufficient. I specifically remember the change in the mid 80s, because I was working downtown at the time and it did correlate with a large influx of tech workers, many from California, but also many from other countries. Maybe I should blame Bill Gates, whom I personally hold responsible for many of the ills of the world! 😡
Sadly, the air of small town friendliness is very much gone and I’m sorry for people who feel that the city is rude but it didn’t used to be this way!

I have to agree that, here in Texas, CA transplants are presumed guilty until proven innocent. I hear the “damned California transplants are ruining our state” theme regularly in Tennessee, Idaho and Utah also. There’s probably an element of the conservatives everywhere going about their business and leaving others alone, while so called “liberals” move in and start telling everyone else what to eat, what to drive and how to think that has created this sentiment. The Californians (and Oregonians) I have come to know and love like to say “remember we left there for a reason”.
I left Cali because it was ruined by people from other states.
I first left in Cal in 92 for Bellingham , it was good living but was full of old draft dodgers. The 60s were good to them they couldn’t let it go.

I wanted to move to Sequim and flee CA. We’d visited there many times. It was so beautiful and friendly!
But my husband wanted to return to UT where he was raised and I was fine with that. I was born/raised in So. CA and so glad we left when we did in 2013. Yay!
I had to spend time in Seattle back in the late 90’s for work and sorry Vikingmom I didn’t have a nice experience. I don’t know if it was because I part of an acquisition team but was there 3 separate times for a week at a time and it was miserable. I’m not even talking about the weather. The people were just unfriendly. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to travel anywhere else in the state so my observations only apply to Seattle.
Take the ferry through the San Juan Islands to Friday Harbor; visit Mt. Baker and Mt. Rainier; drive east of I-5 about 60 miles north of Seattle and it’s gorgeous. See Mt. St. Helens and stop at the visitor centers – be in awe of the power of nature.
That’s just a start!
Yes..It’s expensive. I can’t believe my water bill – almost $450 for 2 months and that doesn’t include lawn watering, and there is NO shortage of water here. King County (Seattle area) is very liberal and they sound like they get all their news from MSNBC. I ended up in a discussion on Nextdoor the other day….futile I’m sure although a couple people seemed curious about the other side of the story.

My “neighborhood” (which is named after my subdivision but encompasses about 1/5th of South Austin) on Next Door is one of the most annoying liberal and interventionist/activist places on the internet. I joined after our cat went missing only to monitor for found cats and have limited messages to only lost and found pets. I am inundated daily with messages starting with “I saw this cutie running around with no collar …..”, requiring everyone in a 25 mile range to click on their message and hear their rant before finding out it they saw a cat, dog, calf, gerbil or llama; black, brown, spotted; one mile or 25 miles from me. Next Door= a great idea ruined by a greedy platform that lumps too many people into a “neighborhood” and people more interested in ranting than being useful. Sorry. I know I am ranting. 😂

Read last night, not surprising, King County is having major issues with the crease in the vote by mail fraud ballots. The crease in the ballots are being read as a vote of some obscure candidate. If the youth numbers stay small, we’ll have a metric on just how rigged the “COVID” election was. There was a huge effort on college campuses in 2020 to harvest ballots. If they can’t repeat that, it’s another sign of big trouble, and more proof that mail in voting is dangerous.
That is my hypothesis. College campuses must have had massive GOTV efforts.

I remember my daughter telling me there was a lot of pressure put on them on campus (ASU Tempe) to call their parents and get ballots redirected to the students. In fact, I remember how urgently she asked for it when she never much showed interest in politics before.
There was a big push. We’ll see what happens, but the kiddies don’t tend to show up “on” Election Day. This would require a lot of forward thinking which they’re not known for.
Why would such pressure work? I do understand some kids are not assertive at that age, but no one would know if mom mailed her her ballot.

I’ve noted several times, their baseline is not 81M from 2020 it’s whatever was the actual votes and maybe 70M on the high end, 65M on the low end? They have to start from actual votes and the fewer of those they have…..the more ballots they need. We have to assume that every one of Trumps “75M” were actual votes (he wasn’t getting any ballots). So his baseline is his 2020 total…..

In our Nebraska town, the county office has set up “overflow voting parking” to accommodate the large numbers. We voted a week ago Friday and missed all that – but the dozens who were there when we voted were Trumpsters.
I suppose I’m a Luddite, but I think that “touchscreen” voting can get really messed up. I don’t trust that.
I didn’t use the touch screen and just used the paper ballot. At least they are a hard copy of the vote.

Northside Chicago, in my ward, 1 early voting site is in my neighborhood. I have NEVER seen a line like I saw 30 minutes ago. The line was longer than 2 blocks. NEVER BEFORE. We don’t have an issue on the ballot that would get these people to come out and wait so long. We are voting for a new Cook County States Attorney…saying goodbye to Kim Foxx. That wouldn’t create these lines. If only the voter turnout for Mayor in 2022, was this large….only 33-37%. Like 2016, 2020 in Illinois, TRUMP will win more counties in Illinois than Harris. County wise, Illinois is RED.

I think it may become real obvious you can’t turn out non-existent voters. That may be the pleasant surprise in all of this. A drastic drop in votes can only mean one thing……
Remember their “have to meet” “baseline” for public consumption is 81M…..incumbent, etc. Their actual baseline is 70-75M tops.
They may be scrambling to make 2020 look legitimate. Winning in 2024 may be 2nd importance.

This is all a combination of “regular democrats” going through the same hell we’re all watching unfold along with all sorts of counter measures in place. And ESPECIALLY the enormous army of lawyers. They can push civilians around, but an army of trained lawyers will not be as easily pushed around by corrupt election officials and corrupt cops.

2020 was a unique set of circumstances that will probably, I say probably, be unable to be duplicated in our lifetimes. They had a perfect storm to produce votes. Those circumstances don’t exist anymore.

They have to get them delivered and the Trump team’s poll workers and watchers (over 320,000 at last report) and attorneys deployed will have a LOT to say about irregularities in the moment. A judge will very readily accept a lawyer’s testimony as a direct witness over a regular civilian being an “officer of the court” and all. They stand to risk their career if they lie to a judge.
Thank God AZ state law NOW says they must count all ballots on Election Day to not be allowed to keep adding for the win. Hopefully and this must be enforced..
Would exit polls be an indicator of what is happening? I know they dont like doing it most of the time, but if Harris is winning they won’t be able to supress their glee. If Trump is winning they may not want to be real vocal about it.
I’m surprised they don’t do exit polls well before election day, given that half or more of the country has already voted by then. If they can put out exit polls before all the polls have closed on election day, why can’t they do it during early voting?

There were many, many more yard signs last year for the school board election than for the presidential election.
In the school board election, the conservatives had distinctly stronger and more experienced candidates, and yet got trounced.
So the lack of Harris yard signs is a very good sign.

My wife and voted early last week in E TX and I asked the lady how the numbers were looking (not saying for one party or the other – but she knew what I meant) and she said that in our county the vote was UP huge over 2020. Just spoke to a Democrat consultant friend on the ground in a swing state who told me I could repeat some of what we discussed. Here’s what I can tell you; take it with a grain of salt if you like but I think he’s being straight with me.
Nobody really thinks Kamala is going to win at this point. Canvassing is going poorly almost everywhere, with few exceptions. The party is getting their high-follower influencer accounts to push out motivational stories just to keep morale up and get them over the finish line with some dignity, but it’s not great. The Iowa poll was good to give a shot of adrenaline to volunteers, but nobody important believes those numbers are real.
Of all the swing states, they’re hoping Michigan comes through and possibly a late-night miracle in PA, but nobody is counting on either of them. They don’t think Trump is actually going to flip VA or NH, but the fact that they’ve even entered the conversation is indicative of how bad things could potentially turn out.
The early vote counts are just beyond what they expected to see for Republican turnout, and has Dem strategists rethinking whether it was a good idea to make such a big push to broaden early voting in the first place. Republican low-propensity voters are activated in a way nobody really expected and the polls didn’t capture it. Yes it’s possible those early Republicans broke Democrat in an unprecedented way, but very unlikely.
The campaign has switched entirely to ‘woman vs. man’ messaging, as liberal white women are the only reliable voter bloc they can even identify at this point.
Priority now is saving some downballot races and flipping the house so the night isn’t a total embarrassment for Democrats.
Like I said, take this all with a grain of salt as this is secondhand information, but this is what I was told, and I think it tracks with other things we know.
For those voting tomorrow, check your ballot before you start, and review after before it is scanned.

A Township Clerk and her Deputy have filed an EMERGENCY MOTION (Olson v Benson) calling for a court injunction to stop those from happening.
Why?
Because this software “fix” that would nullify the EAC’s Logic and Accuracy certifications of Dominion machines prior to Election Day.
Since Logic and Accuracy tests have already taken place, any last-minute changes to the machines would render Election Assistance Commission (EAC) certification null and void.
Although the issue lies with the Dominion VATs, they are on the Dominion network, so any software changes to the VATs could also affect/infect the overall voting system. Clerk Olson and Deputy Clerk Lake are calling for a hand count of ballots instead.

Maricopa County Elections Board basically just announced that they are going to cheat:

My 18 year old is THRILLED to be able to vote tomorrow! We’re in a very red state in a very red area. I don’t think anything weird would stand here. But I already told him about things people are seeing in other states. If he sees anything weird, he should stop and call over an election person to observe or answer questions. (Do not just pull out the phone and take pictures or video if there are any signs or personnel saying not to)
We live in Maricopa in the university town of Tempe (Arizona State). The south part of tempe is horse properties and families, and Trump signs and flags are everywhere. Our neighborhood is close to the university and full of professors. 5 to 1 Kamala signs here. I sent my Trump and Lake ballot in early, and my wife is voting early as we speak at the local library. This is the location that would be heavy D voters in Tempe, and she just reported no line whatsoever. They are virtue signaling with signs, but don’t seem to be showing up.
Pretty obvious that the controllers of the DNC are seeing this as an opportunity to kill progressivism and thus weaken Obama. Too many leaks, too many fraudulent ballot operations revealed, too many ‘mistakes’ in the campaign. Kamala it seems was the self-forging weapon of choice, perfect because she, and her supporters, were dumb enough to think she had a chance.
The US is, like many countries, steadily shifting to the right, as the populations experience the realities of the progressive utopia that has been heavily sold to them, via the media, educational establishments and the entertainment industry for over half a century.
Same thing happening on the Right, but the revolution is far more advanced with populist movements already challenging and beating the fake conservative enablers of the progressives. It seems that finally political movements are beginning to adapt to the realities of the Post-Cold War world and accept that status-quo arguments, that always involve loss of national sovereignty, are increasingly redundant.
I wish, for the sake of the country, that were true, that the DNC had “controllers” who could steer the party toward the center. I just don’t see any evidence of it.
At one time there was a Clinton wing and an Obama wing, but the Clinton wing has pretty much been wiped out.
Went to replenish groceries in anticipation of “civil unrest.” Had a fifty, so paid cash. Out comes the change, including a twenty.
On the back of the twenty, right across the picture of the White House, are capital letters stamped in red:
“DONALD TRUMP LIVES HERE!”
May that be a harbinger of tomorrow’s results!
