EVENING PRAYER

Dear Almighty Father,

Tonight, I am full of gratitude. The blessings you’ve showered upon me all day – they have been bountiful. “Give thanks in all circumstances” (1 Thessalonians 5:18), you’ve taught us, and I heed this wisdom.

Your love, Father, is limitless. Your compassion – it’s a river that never dries. Amidst life’s ebbs and flows, your love remains my anchor. Much like it says in Lamentations 3:22-23, your steadfast love never ceases.

Lord, your faithfulness is remarkable. Despite hunger gnawing at millions, you’ve filled my plate. It reminds me of your promise in Matthew 6:26. Just as you feed the birds, you’ve fed me, too.

Your protection, Father, is a fortress. Dangers lurk, yet they can’t reach me. Just as Psalm 91:14 assures us of your protection, I have felt your guarding presence.

You are Jehovah Rapha, our healer. My health, a testament to your divine healing power, reflects the promise of Exodus 15:26. You’ve mended me where I was broken.

In the face of tall challenges, you’ve granted me triumphs. I’ve witnessed the truth of Luke 1:37. Indeed, nothing is impossible for you, Lord.

Trials of the day have come, yet here I stand. Your strength, my Lord, has fueled my resilience. Like the apostle Paul says in Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through you who strengthens me.

Amidst distress, you’ve gifted me peace. My soul finds rest in you, mirroring the promise of Matthew 11:28. Come to you, I have, and found rest.

My financial woes, they’ve been swept away. Your provision, a reflection of Philippians 4:19, has shielded me from ruin.

PRAY FOR TRUMP

Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.

Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.

Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and his family as they seek to lead America back to You. Also, we pray for Angels to protect and support our Sundance as he works for justice and peace. 

Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall. Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.

We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.

And prayers up for all political prisoners. Prayers up for Julian Assange and for all the protesters of January 6 who were or are entrapped in DC.

Thank you Father, for Your love and the gift of Life.

A prayer for members of the CTH that they remain strong and clear thinking and that the site remain a bastion of freedom and continue to spread the facts of our current dilemma to millions in this country and across the globe. That the light of freedom inspired by our Creator and enshrined in our founding never be extinguished by acts of man.

Why Christians Must Speak Out During This Election

Research from the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University estimates that 32 million regular churchgoers will not vote in this election.

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. Matthew 5v13

1. We are the salt of the earth, not the sugar of the earth. Salt slows the natural decay of something that’s rotting. Therefore, we have to vote for the option that best slows social decay. You’re not choosing a pastor or a date. Vote for policy, not personality. Personalities fade in 4-8 years; policies impact generations.

2. Jesus said, ‘You are the salt of the earth,’ not ‘the salt of the church.’ Salt does no good if left in the salt shaker. Don’t keep religion out of politics or your values from the voting booth. Jesus’ kingdom is not of this world, which calls us to engage, not withdraw, from culture. He taught us to pray, ‘Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as in heaven.’

3. Jesus warned that when salt loses its flavor, it ceases to be as effective as salt. Salt could lose its flavor due to impurities. We can lose our flavor through conformity to the values of the culture (Rom 12v2) and by being cowards, bending to the pressure of the culture (Rev 21v8), or by being contaminated by the political spirit (Mark 8v15).
