There is that moment in the final minutes of the hockey game’s third period, when the score is 3-2 and the coach of the losing team signals to pull the goalie. We are in the political equivalent of that moment.
Ignore all the push polling that will surface today and in the next 48 hours. Everything you see, read, hear and view on the electronic devices is now part of an influence operation that has reached its desperate apex. The pull the goalie phase of the manipulation effort to influence the 2024 presidential election is upon us.
The USA Today poll by Ann Selzer, recorded in the official declarations pushed by the Des Moines Register, published late yesterday, was part of the design. In essence, the scripted play was to set up a Sunday blitz of polling from the New York Times/Sienna to outline the 2024 presidential contest as a tossup, anyone’s’ race.
Corporate media practice and repeat this script just like the forementioned hockey team. It is as predictable as all other UniParty moves.
All other polling has President Trump beating KamalObama by around 8 to 10 points in Iowa. The USA Today/DMR poll of Kamala +3 is nonsense. As Richard Baris said funnily, “it’s like Selzer polled the Starbucks line in Manhattan.”
Yup, the whistle for the final minute time-out call was transparent and purposeful, eh. The Sunday ‘talks’ need an alignment of polling narrative; the whistle gives them that signal.
Here’s the current game disposition and overly general historic landscape as it appears.
♦ In 2006 the enamored and easily influenced Millennials voted to support Obama. The Boomers were watching Fox News and voting to support the traditional next in line McCain and Romneys’.
Accordingly…. Gen-X, in their income prime, were trying to survive the economic contraction and saw the kids amassing to support the Lightbringer. While jumping in the car for work, Gen-X shouted to the neighborhood kids, “watch out, he ain’t what you think,” then put their heads down and went to their jobs. The results were what was expected.
The outcome of the “fundamental change” wasn’t a surprise, but the pragmatic Gen-X understood sometimes kids have to learn the lesson the hard way. The Boomers were still focused on the UniParty TV series.
♦ In 2016 politics followed the track of Star Wars. Thanks in no small part to a generally pissed off GenX; populism and economic nationalism was a big success. However, in 2020 The Empire struck back, the battles were epic. Everyone began to see the scale of the Deep State fraud exposed by Donald Trump.
Fast forward to 2024. The last segment of the Trump trilogy, The Return of the Jedi.
♦ In 2024 Gen-X, understanding the rise of the Obama era and the futility of fighting the residual Kool-Aid effect, ignored the Millennials and shifted their messaging for an alliance back to Gen-Z. Pragmatism and populism countered the cultural revolution of the Chicago Marxists by teaching and gathering a new generation of Jedi.
It was annoying at times, frustrating at times but eventually successful. Big Tech (ie. the Death Star) was targeted and fractured.
As the Boomers began to realize something was happening that looked promising, they stopped watching television. A new era of communication tech, platforms and anti-fragile messaging systems were deployed. Gen-Z was learning fast that something new, something for them, was possible.
The smart Boomers realized Gen-X had a solid plan. The Gen-Z alignment with Gen-X was successful, despite the drone-like and boring behavior of the millennial storm troopers giving the illusion of superiority.
Returning to my terribly switching metaphors. Team Marxist’s coach Obama has blown the whistle. The Democrats are in their ‘pull the goalie’ phase.
However, when Kamala fails, and she will fail, eventually they will come to realize their older legs never stood a chance without the 18–25-year-old Jedi that a pissed off Gen-X took the time to train.

What they are hoping to set up with these “polls” is protection against both occurrences:
1) if Trump wins but it’s close, they can say it’s close enough to challenge every vote in every state and yes, they ARE prepared
2) If Trump wins comfortably they can say, “Cheating occurred because final polls chose Harris even or Harris+2.
When the Trump team says “No, no cheating, ” they’ll respond with “Look at you! Look at last election, 2020 when you wanted evidence heard and challenges.”
The only outcome that would lead to none of that is large vote victories in the states they said she was tied, LARGE

My fear is what Sundance has told us about keeping the polls tight to cover up for election ballot games.
I sense here in Nevada that the race is tight but with 70% of the votes in Clark County (Las Vegas) it is difficult for us in the North to make a difference. The race here depends on the 1/3 independents and how they swing as the R and D registrants are very solid. The worse demographic (those over 65) seems to have loads of people who vote against Trump because he is viewed as nasty. These people get all their news from PBS.

Raskin may be blowing smoke just to gin up the base. The Dem Congress passed a law in 2022 that says all state electoral votes must be certified by governors. The House must accept the results, so no more contesting or complaining about the results in the House by the states. The problem will be at the state level, so that’s what needs to be watched closely.

Same thing this time, except Kamela is even more unlikeable & unelectable than Hillary and Trump has now earned his Captain’s Wings 👨✈️

The fact that Trump is more popular now than in 2016 and 2020 destroys their narrative that this is a close election. The Dem numbers haven’t gone up while Trump’s have. They concede this in all their polls if you look at the demographic breakdowns. More people believe that 2020 was stolen now than in 2021. Nate Silver and Scott Rasmussen don’t play games with their polling as influence ops. This isn’t close.
Soon it will be morning. As we wait for the dawn to appear, the sound we hear will be Jill Biden singing “Memory.”

It has always been about creating plausibility of a Harris win while working to steal it. I think the trouble is Trunp’s vote totals will be too big and the steal will be all too obvious, bringing more into “The Great Awakening” if they move forward with it.
I’ve been telling everyone I know that I think Trump should declare victory the night of and say everyone knows his lead is too big to overcome and he’s looking forward to Kamala’s concession call.

The hew and cry growing so loud was getting to the point where all of us older Americans were being ‘othered’ into oblivion by people who think their youth means they know it all, forgetting President Trump himself is very much a part of that boomer generation.

Very first car…1972 used Chevy Nova, army green with 3 on the tree…no bells and whistles just fast, simple and fun on wheels.
Absolutely correct…The young so often disregard the wisdom of their elders. From what I’ve read, Boomers make up 2 large adult groups; post war teens 50/60’s and social/economic hardship teens 70’s/80’s. They are the silent majority, shoulder to the wheel, workaholics, believers in families, paying taxes and preserving American values. Boomers endured Post Vietnam realities, scandals, corruption, riots and social upheaval became typical. They are realists, somewhat pessimistic, hardened and not easily swayed.
Many youth are long term students, or service workers with heavy debt and not much economic future. They are discouraged by the harsh realities of life, inflationary pressures and not comfortable having families. They seem to admire Trump as authentic, a public figure with a history they can still find online and what success can look like in the United States. It seems they often admire Boomers, but will not acknowledge it for whatever reasons.
Boomers and Pres. Trump are great examples of hard work, patriotism and restoring our nation. Those are the greatest gifts to our future generations. Let’s hope they hop aboard the Trump Train and continue to learn and prosper.
Gen X here. I have 8 children. The older children that are considered millennials. The middle children and my youngest 2 at age 12 and 14 are definitely Gen Z. Realizing that a head on confrontation with my millennials would only aggravate their kool-aid poisoning, I taught them that all “news” is meant to shape and influence their opinion and taught them to recognize the bias by the adjectives the presenter used. It seems to have worked. That and once they got in the real world of having to pay their bills and work for a living! Paycheck withholding is a real eye opener! My 19 year old’s favorite thing to say to this day is “Please clap!” [poor Jeb!]

I’m in the communist state of Maryland. Saw a poll yesterday that shows Cackles at 65% and our President at 35. Now I know Maryland very well but I don’t think it’s that slanted.
Been here on the ES for a while working on a project and it’s rural red. I travel Rt. 50 to Bay Bridge often and way more Trump signs here. Maryland is another Red Rural and Blue City state unfortunately with Baltimore , Baltimore County, PG County and Montgomery County determining the fate of the rest. Montgomery County with its retired SES and GS 15 pukes are especially galling.
I retired to OC so I know about what you say. I lived in a red Carroll County until they gerrymandered it into Montgomery County. How do like our choices for Senator? Pretty pathetic.

Pissed off Gen X here, this was a good read. I almost died Monday and am even more resolved to see this Trump thing through.
