Roughly 2000 a day of Ukrainian casualties are reported by the Minister of Defense of Russia. No idea of Russian casualties.
Russia cannot count casualties that are impossible for them to “see” or have information about. For example, they send missiles to destroy a warehouse of weapons in Lvov. The Russians may not have data on whether or not someone was killed/wounded in that warehouse and Ukraine won’t report their casualties. So, Russian casualty numbers may be under-reporting the actual numbers of Ukrainians killed and wounded.

I replied above to this datapoint. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has been reporting around 2000 Ukrainian casualties a day for the last 3 months. And that is likely undercounting because they cannot see everyone in every place that they hit – for instance in western Ukraine those who are in warehouses or supply depots that are destroyed.
Today’s MoD report gave figures for the week (26 Oct – 1 Nov) – up to 17,000 Ukrainian casualties. That averages nearly 2500 casualties a day.
