My company strongly advised everyone to NOT going into town to the office and/or to use the parking deck.
The city was going to use the paid parking decks to move the permitted on-street parkers into.
I didn’t want to be ‘that guy’ so I followed their guidance.
I did see PDJT in Schnecksville, PA though, which was MAGAnificent!!
How many can this venue safely hold? Do you have any idea? It looks huge!
I think it’s ~8,500 with seating in the stands only, and up to 10K with floor seating.
PPL (Pennsylvania Power and Light) was my former company. I now work for a spin-off from it.
Local High Schools hold their graduation ceremonies there now. It’s a nice venue for everything (hockey, concerts, rodeos, Cirque de Soleil, Monster Truck Jams, etc.)!

The other song that Billy Joel did about the betrayal of the hard-working, blue collar, middle class was “Downeaster Alexa”. It is about fisherman on the East Coast, but the same story has been played out here in the Seattle area where I have lived my whole life! But sadly, many of the descendents of working class Scandinavian fishermen, whose ancestors traveled from Ballard to Alaska every year, as popularized in the series Deadliest Catch, have turned into some of the most woke liberals I’ve ever had the misfortune to know!
Scandanavian descendants in the upper Midwest likewise, through out Illinois, Wisconsin Minnesota.

I was at a Billy Joel concert in Seattle this past May and the entire Stadium erupted when he started playing Downeaster Alexa!
One of the things I really appreciate about him is that he does not get involved publicly in political debates. He said in an interview once that he figured people came to listen to him sing and they don’t really care who he votes for so that’s what he focuses on! I also found out that he got tired of seeing bored rich people in the front two rows so he no longer sells those tickets but instead tells his road crew to go up and find people from the cheap seats and bring them down to the front because he figures they will really appreciate it!

I was 13 or 14 the first time I saw Billy Joel perform here in Seattle – I think his album The Stranger had just been released, which included Vienna and Scenes from an Italian Restaurant. I saw him a couple of other times after that, in the 80s, and my kids were raised on his music, so this past spring, my son and his wife took me and my husband to see him. He is 75 years old and he can’t quite hit the highest notes anymore but it was a great evening!

I grew up in Cleveland, and when “Allentown” came out, it really choked me up because it was such a rust belt anthem. We were all Allentown. It is heartbreaking to see what globalization and outsourcing have done to decimate so many good cities — and good people. I pray for PDJT and JD to win — along with a good MAGA/GOP majority in the House and Senate. We really need to repair the damage of Biden/Harris from the last 4 years!
