McDonald’s Coke is my favorite fountain drink. I can’t drink it out of the can from the store, it is too harsh on my stomach. McDonald’s gets it right, and the Coke is consistent no matter which McDonald’s I have ever visited.

It is not easy working the fry station especially during the demanding time lunch rush hour. I worked at McDonald’s years ago. They had the paper bags for small fries and the red box for lge. fries. It was a hot station when you worked it for several hours. I also worked the drive-thru during the breakfast, lunch, and dinner hours. Fast pace but I liked working there. Got to know the regulars.
Good for Trump in showing the importance of everyday jobs that also pays bills. It paid for my gas, insurance, clothes, and college.
I worked at McD corporate HQ for 19 years. Great company and great people! Classy like Trump!
I worked at Red Barn. We always made a basket of fries 5 minutes before closing in hopes that there would be leftovers to snack on while we cleaned up the place. You have to hustle at a fast-food restaurant. I learned a lot. Such as “I do not think I want to work at a fast-food place for the rest of my life.” Not that it isn’t a good job. Just not for me. Oh, I also learned to be kind to people who work in the food service industry.
Der Wienerschnitzel in high school, $1.35/hr., gas was 33 cents/gallon, 3.5 gallon fill-up on Honda 350 motorcycle could get me 100+ miles. Also, Spivey’s Coffee Shop in high school, $1.98/hr., and then Sambo’s in college. Always had something to eat, which you think about when you grow up with 6 siblings. Bus boy, dishwasher, pot washer. Like you, it taught me to treat restaurant people with dignity and respect, it is not easy work.

(Oakland, Berkeley, Montreal–if it were true, it would have to be Montreal because she was of working age only when she lived there.). I actually worried at first that perhaps people checking were only checking for American venues and not tending to McD’s in Canada, but when her staff didn’t issue any response, it looked as if the story was a lie.
I even worried that the Harris team might be baiting POTUS into incorrectly claiming she never worked for a McD’s, but my understanding is that the Trump team checked with corporate–let’s hope THEY told Trump’s people the truth.

Both my wife 76 and myself 80 worked for Wendy’s doing dishes, frontend, cashier and taking orders,for 4 years. We started at 10.50 and hour and finished at 14.50 an hour.
