Bongino said they only know what you registered as (D,I or R) and that you voted. They should never know who you voted for. Personally, I vote early so resource constrained Rs know not to send mailers to me. Better they send those to low propensity voters.
I think was important to vote early in overwhelming numbers so they cannot cheat. If they steal votes it would have to be from Democrats who hadn’t voted.

It is true! I have a son finishing an ortho residency and the stories of training with “different” training for “different” colors and fragilities are disgusting. He is very disillusioned but owes 500,000 dollars to pay back. Keep in mind the “different” are subsidized.
Our’s just had incident getting ready to start surgery. The ER nurse could not catheterize the patient, she just gave up helplessly. They had to get another nurse to scrub in. Of course our daughter later lit into her. The nurse told her they only had watched online videos about it in nursing school and had never actually catheterized anyone.

My mom was widowed at 48 with 6 kids still in school, K-8th grade. She got SS survivor benefits but still had to work to make ends meet. That was why she encouraged her daughters to learn a skill in case they ever needed to work.
The women’s lib movement looked down on women who went into teaching, but it was the best thing for me as a mom. My kids actually got all holidays and summers – and snow days- off. It was a very family-friendly career.

The ability to cheat is not limited by having lawyers and poll watchers, neither of which prevents injection of bogus absentee ballots. Early voting allows parties to know how many bogus ballots to produce, and dirty voter rolls provide plenty of “voters” for those bogus ballots.
This is Republican theater. It is reactive rather than proactive. They will pick-off onesies twosies while leaving the corrupt systems in place.
I seem to remember them kicking the poll watchers out of the building. We had lawyers back then, and I think there were even some judges who ruled in our favor. I do believe she left Kari Lake and AZ in a hurry in 2022 when she had said beforehand that they were orking hard in AZ to make sure voting went the way it should and had lawyers ready to go if there was any inkling of funny business with the voting and election. Well we all know what happened on Election Day with the voting machines in certain places suddenly not working. Dillon had left the area and her team did little to help AZ overcome the obvious cheating. So much for thousands of lawyers on the ground. If I am not remembering the facts of what happened in AZ then I apologize, but she is one to be a bit wary of. We shall see if she sticks around this time.

One long-time now ex friend came unglued because I suggested that the federal gov’t was making my life difficult. He dropped half a dozen anti Trump bombs then declared politics off limits to preserve our “friendship”.
Later I wrote to him because he had stated that Biden did a better job with covid (seriously!) I told him that as a person who is medically-contraindicated for the mrna, that I was shocked and appalled that Biden not only tried to force the injections every way he could, but also consistently vilified those who did not take the shot.
Beyond that, I informed my “friend” that polls showed that over 60% of his dem peers were A-OK with putting people like me into concentration camps, and that a smaller percentage between 20-30% supported killing the non-vaxxed. I mentioned that HIS dem Governor put me out of business and bankrupted me. and that not one of my democrat “friends” or family members voiced regret regarding those facts or ever apologized for any of it.
That was an opening for my life-long “friend” to redeem himself by simply having some empathy and apologizing. NOPE— radio silence for months now. From my perspective HE decided to not be my friend any longer.
None of these bastards will listen. It’s as if they are afraid to be infected with critical thinking.

The republicans and the democrats have no interest in the national debt or government spending. This was always at least a campaign talking point for one side or the other. It’s not and the media is “hands-off” too. The media does what it’s told to do, but why nothing from either party?
Simple answer: government has an easy built-in backstop. It’s call private retirement accounts. The total value of those accounts today is about equal to the entire national debt.
How easy would it be for government, via the uniparty, to nationalize all private retirement accounts? Super-easy. Just tell the financial institutions that hold those accounts to freeze them and turn them over to the treasury. Who or what could stop them? No court would.
Start thinking about all of that because it is coming and your GOP would be supportive.

Is this some sort of a revelation? Most of us have known this for years.
Just reminding people who think Trump will be able to perform miracles that the same forces that were there against him in 2016-2020 are still there because I’m tired of people presenting him as the 2nd coming.
The vast majority of “Republican” pols would need to be voted out and replaced with ACTUAL MAGA which is hard to tell before they enter office because, surprise, surprise, politicians lie.
I think some no-holds-barred public humiliation might do the trick to shut down McConnell and other GOP of his ilk. I could envision the again elected President Trump calling a special news conference. His opening remarks would reveal in specific detail all of the RINO treachery, malfeasance and corruption. He would names names and call on all of their constituents in their respective states to call and/or march on their offices until they either comply or resign.
Or perhaps he doesn’t need to even do this, but just invite them in to the White House, and tell him that he will do it if he gets any BS resistance.
He needs to whisper sweet nothings in McConnell’s ear.

Elections serve two purposes. The first, and obvious, purpose is to accurately choose the winner. But the second is equally important: to convince the loser. To the extent that an election system is not transparently and auditably accurate, it fails in that second purpose. Our election systems are failing, and we need to fix them.
Today, we conduct our elections on computers. Our registration lists are in computer databases. We vote on computerized voting machines. And our tabulation and reporting is done on computers. We do this for a lot of good reasons, but a side effect is that elections now have all the insecurities inherent in computers. The only way to reliably protect elections from both malice and accident is to use something that is not hackable or unreliable at scale; the best way to do that is to back up as much of the system as possible with paper.
Recently, there have been two graphic demonstrations of how bad our computerized voting system is. In 2007, the states of California and Ohio conducted audits of their electronic voting machines. Expert review teams found exploitable vulnerabilities in almost every component they examined. The researchers were able to undetectably alter vote tallies, erase audit logs, and load malware on to the systems. Some of their attacks could be implemented by a single individual with no greater access than a normal poll worker; others could be done remotely.
Last year, the Defcon hackers’ conference sponsored a Voting Village. Organizers collected 25 pieces of voting equipment, including voting machines and electronic poll books. By the end of the weekend, conference attendees had found ways to compromise every piece of test equipment: to load malicious software, compromise vote tallies and audit logs, or cause equipment to fail.
It’s important to understand that these were not well-funded nation-state attackers. These were not even academics who had been studying the problem for weeks. These were bored hackers, with no experience with voting machines, playing around between parties one weekend.
It shouldn’t be any surprise that voting equipment, including voting machines, voter registration databases, and vote tabulation systems, are that hackable. They’re computers—often ancient computers running operating systems no longer supported by the manufacturers—and they don’t have any magical security technology that the rest of the industry isn’t privy to. If anything, they’re less secure than the computers we generally use, because their manufacturers hide any flaws behind the proprietary nature of their equipment.
We’re not just worried about altering the vote. Sometimes causing widespread failures, or even just sowing mistrust in the system, is enough. And an election whose results are not trusted or believed is a failed election.
The constitution delegates elections to the states but allows Congress to “make or alter such Regulations”. In 1845, Congress set a nationwide election day. Today, we need it to set uniform and strict election standards.
