I would suggest changing the word “violate” here as it gives the appearance of something taking place outside the rule of law.
US military can and will be used on US soil in accordance with the rule of law. It is not a violation of Posse Comitatus. It’s right in their oath. “…support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic…”.
Look up two of President Trump’s Executive Orders, EO 13912 and EO 13919.
Both of them authorize the activation of US troops to be used on US soil. In these two cases it’s for fighting drug trafficking. I believe they were both just extended recently. By the way, drug trafficking is not limited to “gangs”. It is a major profit center for many “other” domestic enemies. Wink, wink.

If you bring a legally owned gun somewhere that you went because by your own admission you were motivated by reports that they were withholding supplies, of course that is going to be construed as a threat.

The designation follows the Biden-Harris administration’s efforts to bring in other foreign nationals into the U.S. en masse on largely humanitarian grounds. The CHNV program — which pertains to Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans — has paroled more than half a million non-citizens into the U.S. since it was launched, according to DHS.
The White House has also paroled roughly 77,000 Afghan nationals into the U.S. after its botched military withdrawal from the country in 2021, with a watchdog report finding that many of them were not properly vetted.

Grew up in Minnesota in 60’s-80s … very different.
Minnesota liberalism came out of nordic Christianity which viewed social welfare programs as a safety net for neighbors. It was seen as embarrassing if not shameful to call on it briefly at most, being constrained by morality. It was “helping neigbors” not an entitlement or lifestyle.
This kindness was used as wedge to eventually separate from the morality. The generous benefits started drawing people from Chicago who did not share the cultural embarrassment over “needing a little bit of help”and saw it as entitlement.
Then large populations of Hmong refugees were imported, then Somalis, disrupting social consensus and cohesion and its been the usual liberal race to the bottom with no limits and the encouragement of strife and discord.
The old-school Minnesotans busy living happy lives looked on in befuddlement, totally unprepared for and not recognizing the designed destruction of their society, by people who are deeply unhappy and hate goodness.
In retrospect, it almost seems like it was a trial-run for what was planned for the rest of the country as far as breaking down society. Someone hated a society that worked well and was happy and well-educated, and they set out to destroy it.
Another thing I’ve noticed in Minnesota was the effect of “school choice” or “open enrollment”, which was actually a conservative crusade for many years that was realized in the 1990s’, after I was out.
Formerly excellent public schools that were a community focus are no longer. Instead, people from all over show up and everything moves toward the lowest common denominator as social problems and distractions are introduced into every school and community. School choice destroys community consensus, involvement and responsibiliy. The best that can be said for it is it motivates home-schooling.
The public schools I attended used to turn out a dozen or more National Merit Scholars each year, had nationally know music programs. Now the same schools are pathetic. Even with the reduced testing standards, they produce maybe one National Merit Scholar every couple years
Big fail for a conservative cause that turned out to be extraordinarily corrosive to successful education, or at least public schools.

The free public education entitlement was in my opinion one of the things that made America great. It did create a community focus.
It was an entitlement that allowed a person to raise themselves up due to their own efforts.
So different from the gimme concept of entitlement.
Just the name, Merit scholar, it demonstrated that you didn’t have to be from a particular type of background to succeed in America.
I would say the leftists taking over school admin, school boards, and teaching nullifies the “community focus”.

Top Biden agency issues blunt message to criminal immigrants after explosive data becomes liability for admin
The ICE account noted the arrest of a 45-year-old Jamaican citizen convicted of forcible touching, and a 34-year-old Guatemalan convicted of illegal re-entry. Agents also arrested a 38-year-old Dominican Republic citizen charged with sexual misconduct and a “criminal sex act.”
The Biden administration has said it is prioritizing public safety and national security threats as part of its narrowed enforcement priorities. However, it has come under fire for a sharp drop in deportations compared to the prior administration.
Recently, the deportation of criminals came under scrutiny after numbers showing that among those in removal proceedings but who are not in ICE detention, there are 425,431 convicted criminals. That is up from about 405,000 in June 2021 and 368,000 in April 2016.
Overall, the non-detained docket, which lists those in removal proceedings or who have a final order of removal but who are not in ICE custody, has expanded to more than 7.4 million people, up from around 3.7 million when former President Donald Trump left office.

We’re a retired couple in our 70’s who recently and directly benefitted from this good man’s selfless efforts, and we want people to know about it. This retired Army 4-star general is 84 years young. Our son and one of our nephews served under him at different points in time prior to his retirement in 2008. What an unexpected honor it was to meet him after all these years, particularly under the circumstances. When we tried to thank him for what he was doing his response was, “Never give up on America”.

Last night we heard a presentation by Saint Vincent De Paul volunteers, who have been working with Haitians since 2017 (Note the date!) in Springfield, Ohio.
They said the refugees came in slowly at first, but then in 2021 the trickle became a wave. (We know why!)
Their estimate from local government rolls is that 8,000 Haitians now live in Springfield. Whether that includes children is unknown.
Because of their French-Catholic colonial background, they know all about Saint Vincent De Paul and the society founded in his name, and so the group’s office is where the immigrants usually first gather.
Their main points: most Haitians are capitalists! When the Haitian refugees arrive, their number one desire is a Work Permit! Some wanted to work immediately, save money, and start businesses.
Unfortunately, the system is messed up: whether this is an Ohio peculiarity or something from the Feds, the volunteers were not sure. But the immigrants first need to sign up for benefits, then that registration will lead to work permits, which to us – and to the Haitians – seems very backwards.*
The volunteers emphasized that the Haitians felt insulted by having to register for hand-outs. They wanted to work honestly above all.
As a result, in the volunteers’ experience no illegal immigrants are among the Haitians, who invariably have documentation of their legal status, and are proud of it.
The next thing asked for, after work permits, is English instruction.
“New immigrants always arrive on Saturday, and we haven’t figured out why yet.”
We can surmise that the FedGov is behind that.
“Why are they in Springfield?” “Several new factories opened up, which needed workers, and the local labor supply was not there.”
The volunteers knew nothing about how much the Haitians were being paid, but did know that working two or even three jobs was not unusual for them, especially for those wanting to start businesses.
They have received calls from landlords offering housing, who reported that they welcomed Haitians because they did not wreck or trash the property and paid cash for the rent on time.
Most of the Haitians are Catholic, but sometimes go to other churches because of transportation problems. The local Catholic parishes are struggling on that point and hope to obtains a bus: Baptist churches are way ahead of Catholics on solving
that issue!
The capture of pets and ducks or geese in parks might have happened, but they said it was not an issue, or at least not an issue now. One volunteer did not believe it ever happened.
The Haitian, who hit a school bus and caused a child to die, had been working a night-shift and likely fell asleep at the wheel.
A handful of “Nazis” have protested in front of a St. Vincent De Paul Thrift Store and in front of the house of the president of the conference.
Despite that, overall – despite the flurry of bad publicity – Springfield is slowly handling the influx, according to the volunteers.
It was pointed out that, when churches or other groups have offered Free Dinners at Thanksgiving or Christmas or Easter, Haitians are NOT in attendance.
They prefer work over hand-outs.
Their conclusion: Haitians want to become Americans and become the next successful immigrant population to join the country.
* I suspect that this was done at the behest of Welfare Bureaucrats and Social Workers to guarantee more clients and paperwork to keep themselves employed. “Red tape” is immense in the process, said the volunteers! Saint Vincent de Paul has set up a legal clinic with law students from the University of Dayton to help guide the Haitians through the process.
