After Dad passed, his oldster dog, Bosco, bonded with our old gal, Thatcher. They went everywhere together. When Thatcher died, Bosco went too shortly thereafter. 😢

Morning, Jim 😘☕ How much joy, surrounded as you both were by such loving animals. And showing them? Oh my! 😍 People love their dogs…but I’ve noticed over the years, both here and abroad, if breeds are mentioned, that’s the one that wins by far as the one most loved. Two of my children have had brown and black respectively.
My younger daughter and her husband finally got one when their triplets and their sister were old enough to understand the responsibilities of caring for a dog and were taught to do so and had the space for one.
I have the video of the kids standing in the house, their mother asking them if they could see the black lab pup “waaaaay over there” next to a huge outbuilding. Whose was it it, their mother asked them. Did they think it belonged to anyone who lived around them, and maybe they’d better go to see if there were any tags 😎
Of course at 7 (triplets) and 9, they all ran out as fast as they could to check. That pup was all over them like a rash. And when they told their parents that, no, no tags, it was then they were asked if they’d like to keep him. Can’t describe the gift of seeing their incredulity at first, then their faces as the news that he was now a part of their family sink in, then the explosive joy 💕😌
They named him “Jet”, and I doubt there is any dog whose needs have been attended to more assiduously than this loving and much loved animal. We don’t see these grandchildren. So this small happy video is a special treasure that means everything to me.

Listening to someone we’ve already heard just means we’re revisiting a superior performance—completely normal. If we limited ourselves to new discoveries, I think the thread would be a little bit barren.
It would be, dear sir. My feeling is that older artists bring something to their performances which younger ones can’t… yet. Age will take care if that. And I’m certain you know exactly what I mean. No explanation needed 😘👍🏻

Yes, benadryl works for a lot of folks (has an opposite effect on some). I think it’s fairly benign, but it does make me groggy. I’ve tried literally a dozen or more remedies.
Lately, this is the winner, but I mix it up with other combinations of supplements because I believe that is the way to maintain efficacy. I’ve got a cabinet full of various supplements – be happy to share the list if you’re interested.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Israel is checking the DNA of a terrorist who was killed and may be Sinwar. The leader of Hamas. There are no known hostages around so it is still questionable.
But there are a few images running on social media of the body. I typically avoid posting gore in my reports but the teeth look the same as to gaps and arrangement.
Speaker of the IDF said that it is being checked as we speak and there will be an announcement later on.
If that is the case then it’s a miracle as it was not a targeted assassination but a mortar that a simple soldier fired at terrorists.

Thank you Heavenly Father for a crisp Cursday morning, the dog and cats have been hilarious with their “Full Moon Fever” hangovers, chasing each other in the out-of the-blue fall air!
I explained to my new neighbors from Idaho, (2 sets of them, now) that Florida people get giddy at the first breath of “Fall” the same way Idaho people are ready to do cartwheels as soon as the dandelions pop through the melting snow and temperatures break 40.
They agreed, and said they can’t wait to turn off the AC and leave the screened windows open at night. I just hope these cool fronts keep the tropics at bay.

To me, this rumor resonates with the claim by dems that I keep hearing, and that Kamala repeated in the Baier interview, that Trump is going to call on the military to go after Americans. The dem claim

Oh this is so true. I have this thing about reusing grocery bags or bringing cloth bags – it’s unsanitary! Those things sit in your house, your car, and worse yet – in public grocery carts. Diapered kids, dogs, women’s purses and more have been in those carts. Sorry, I don’t want my food associating with those things. Yuk
So……I piss off the clerks and people in line by asking for (and paying for) new plastic bags and explaining why. Actually, many of the clerks openly agree with me. It’s the idiot behind me who wants to lecture me. I just tell him/her, “you’re welcome to my share of enteritis.”
